And how do we know that?
We saw it in the field and the way through which Iran marked an unprecedented victory against US-Zionist criminals. Iran completely changed the nature of war.
As we wrote right before the beginning of the US-Zionist attack against Iran:
The nature of war has changed dramatically since the Iraq war, due to technological developments. A ground invasion, especially against Iran, would be catastrophic for the US empire with unpredictable consequences, even if the regime-change mission successfully completed. The Iran allies in the region are still active, despite their losses. […] armed groups dispersed in the Middle-East and affiliated with Iran, can lead to an asymmetric, out-of-control conflict to the point where US forces may suddenly find themselves trapped in a wider deadly warzone with no exit. The new, relatively cheap technology of drones and small/middle range missiles, is easily accessible to these groups. The Ansar Allah group in Yemen, already demonstrated their ability to sabotage US military operations.
But it not just the ability of Iran to mobilize its proxies and evaporate the US bases across the region. It’s also the fact that it exhibited an ability to escalate retaliation with precision, not randomly or chaotically.
Which means that Iran was preparing for such an attack a long time ago. Which means that Iran is also prepared for a nuclear strike, knowing that the US-Zionist empire is ruthless and will try anything to achieve its goals.
