Το νέο κόλπο της νεοφιλελεύθερης τραπεζοχρεοκρατίας

του system failure

Το έδαφος είχε προετοιμαστεί κατάλληλα εδώ και καιρό. Ολοένα και περισσότερες πληροφορίες έβγαιναν στην επιφάνεια που ήθελαν την Κυπριακή οικονομία να βρίσκεται σε κακή κατάσταση και την ανάγκη υιοθέτησης ενός μνημονίου από την Κύπρο, ανάλογο με αυτού των χωρών της ευρωζωνικής περιφέρειας.

Η Ευρωπαϊκή Κεντρική Τράπεζα και τα Ευρωπαϊκά όργανα δεν επέλεξαν βέβαια τον ίδιο τρόπο. Χτύπησαν την Κύπρο εκεί που πονάει, προκειμένου να επιβάλουν τις επιθυμητές και συμφέρουσες πολιτικές, σε μια επέκταση του νεοφιλελεύθερου πειράματος που επαναλαμβάνεται ανανεωμένο στις χώρες της ευρωζώνης. Ο Κυπριακός φορολογικός παράδεισος θα μετατραπεί σύντομα σε άλλο ένα ελεγχόμενο κράτος μέσω του χρέους από την Ευρωπαϊκή νεοφιλελεύθερη οικονομική αυτοκρατορία, καθώς οι πρώτες απαραίτητες κινήσεις από την ΕΚΤ και τον Μάριο Ντράγκι έχουν ήδη γίνει:(http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2012/09/blog-post_8431.html).

Που στοχεύει, κυρίως, η πρόσφατη απόφαση-σκάνδαλο του Γιούρογκρουπ για το κούρεμα των καταθέσεων στις Κυπριακές τράπεζες;

Πρώτον, στην εξάλειψη του Κυπριακού τραπεζικού-φορολογικού παραδείσου, που μέσα στην ευρωζώνη, είναι ο μοναδικός εκτός της Γερμανικής σφαίρας επιρροής (και άρα του Γερμανικού κυρίως μεγάλου κεφαλαίου). Έτσι οι τραπεζικοί-φορολογικοί παράδεισοι εντός της ευρωζώνης (Ελβετία, Λουξεμβούργο, Λιχτενστάϊν), περιορίζονται στα όρια επιρροής του σκληρού πυρήνα της.

Δεύτερον, δεδομένου ότι αναμένεται μετά την απόφαση ένα κύμα φυγής Ρωσικών κυρίως κεφαλαίων, η απόφαση στοχεύει επίσης και στην απεμπλοκή της Κύπρου από τα Ρωσικά κεφάλαια που θα την αναγκάσουν να στραφεί ευκολότερα και γρηγορότερα στην αποκλειστική πλέον πηγή χρηματοδότησης, την ΕΚΤ, με τα ανάλογα βεβαίως ανταλλάγματα. Ως εκ τούτου, η δήλωση Αναστασιάδη στο διάγγελμά του ότι “η λύση είναι η λιγότερο επώδυνη διότι πάνω απ'όλα αφήνει την διαχείριση της οικονομίας στα χέρια μας”, θα μπορούσε να χαρακτηριστεί τουλάχιστον ως παραπλανητική.

Τρίτον, στην προσπάθεια να πληγούν οι Ρωσο-Κυπριακές σχέσεις, καθώς θα πλήξουν και τα Ρωσικά συμφέροντα εκμετάλλευσης κοιτασμάτων στην περιοχή. H Μόσχα έχει ήδη αντιδράσει έντονα με αφορμή τις Ρωσικές καταθέσεις στις Κυπριακές τράπεζες που πλήττονται από το κούρεμα. Στα ανταλλάγματα που θα πρέπει να δώσει η Κύπρος θα είναι βέβαια και η εκμετάλλευση των κοιτασμάτων από εταιρίες Ευρωπαϊκών και Αγγλοσαξωνικών συμφερόντων. Ταυτόχρονα, η δήλωση του Αντώνη Σαμαρά - ο οποίος είναι επίσης δέσμιος του χρέους προς τους Ευρωπαίους δανειστές αλλά και προς το Αμερικανικών συμφερόντων ΔΝΤ – περί Ευρωπαϊκής ΑΟΖ, δείχνει τον δρόμο προς την ενοποίηση της Ελληνικής και Κυπριακής ΑΟΖ και ανοίγει διάπλατα το πεδίο εκμετάλλευσης πιθανών κοιτασμάτων στην νοτιοανατολική Μεσόγειο από τις ίδιες εταιρίες.

Όμως, πέρα απ'όλα αυτά, εκείνο που καταρρέει παταγωδώς, είναι η υποτιθέμενη εγγύηση των καταθέσεων μέσα στην ευρωζώνη, η οποία υποτίθεται ότι θα εξασφαλίζονταν οριστικά με βάση τις αποφάσεις της Ευρωπαϊκής συνόδου κορυφής τον Οκτώβριο του 2012. Αυτό τουλάχιστον είχε δηλώσει ο Αντώνης Σαμαράς σε συνέντευξη τύπου, υποστηρίζοντας ότι μπήκε για πρώτη φορά στην παράγραφο 9 του τελικού κειμένου συμπερασμάτων η πρόταση Μόντι για εγγύηση των καταθέσεων (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2012/10/blog-post_22.html). Πέντε μόλις μήνες μετά, αποδεικνύεται ότι δεν υπάρχει καμία εγγύηση των καταθέσεων, ότι στην ουσία δεν ισχύει τίποτα από αυτά που υποτίθεται ότι αποφασίζουν τα πολιτικά όργανα της ΕΕ και ότι οι αποφάσεις βρίσκονται αποκλειστικά στα χέρια της ΕΚΤ και των μηχανισμών χρηματοπιστωτικού ελέγχου.

Το μόνο τελικά που κάνει η Ευρωπαϊκή νεοφιλελεύθερη οικονομική αυτοκρατορία, είναι να απορρυθμίζει συνεχώς το σύστημα προς όφελος των τραπεζών και του μεγάλου κεφαλαίου. Δεν είναι μόνο η διάλυση των εργασιακών δικαιωμάτων και του κοινωνικού κράτους. Το κούρεμα των καταθέσεων, θα επιτρέψει στους μεγαλομέτοχους των Κυπριακών τραπεζών να ελαττώσουν νόμιμα τα απαιτούμενα κεφάλαια σε ρευστό μέσω του κανόνα του ελάχιστου κλασματικού αποθεματικού, ενώ ένα μεγάλο μέρος του πακέτου βοήθειας θα επιστρέψει στις τράπεζες προς χάριν της “σταθεροποίησης” του τραπεζικού συστήματος. Τα χρήματα όμως θα κάνουν απλώς μια βόλτα από την Κύπρο και θα επιστρέψουν ως κεφάλαια των μεγαλομετόχων πίσω στην ΕΚΤ, αφού προηγουμένως θα έχουν ληστέψει τους καταθέτες.

14,000 babies could die if aid doesn’t enter Gaza in 48 hours, UN warns

Some 14,000 babies could die in Gaza in 48 hours if aid does not reach them in time, the UN’s humanitarian chief, Tom Fletcher, told the BBC today. Though Israel said it would allow “basic aid” into Gaza, only five trucks entered the enclave yesterday, two carrying shrouds to help bury Palestinians killed in Israel’s bombs. Others were in Gaza, but were being held by occupation forces and had not reached Palestinians. This was the first delivery of aid since 2 March, when Israel completely sealed the enclave.
