Η απολιτίκ κινδυνολογία και ο νεοφιλελεύθερος κίνδυνος

“Ιδιαίτερο χαρακτηριστικό της επικοινωνιακής στρατηγικής της νεοφιλελεύθερης συμμαχίας ΝΔ-ΠΑΣΟΚ και των λοιπών προσαρτημάτων του κεντροαριστερού χώρου που υποστηρίζουν τις μνημονιακές πολιτικές, είναι η παντελής απουσία από το δημόσιο διάλογο αναφορών σε πολιτικές διαφορές. Αυτό δηλαδή που διακαώς προσπαθούν να αποκρύψουν προεκλογικά οι εκφραστές του νεοφιλελεύθερου μπλοκ, είναι η σπηλαιώδης πολιτική διαφορά τους από τον αριστερής πολιτικής κατεύθυνσης ΣΥΡΙΖΑ. Αυτός είναι και ο κύριος λόγος που ο επικοινωνιακός σχεδιασμός της νεοφιλελεύθερης ναυαρχίδας του πολιτικού συστήματος, της ΝΔ, απευθύνεται στο συναίσθημα των ψηφοφόρων και με όπλο την κινδυνολογία, προσπαθεί να καλλιεργήσει τον φόβο, ο οποίος ως γνωστό παραλύει τη σκέψη και διώχνει τη λογική.”

“Η επίκληση άλλωστε του γενικόλογου όρου «μεταρρυθμίσεις» γίνεται προκειμένου να αποφευχθεί οποιαδήποτε συζήτηση για το είδος αυτών των μεταρρυθμίσεων, που... κατά σύμπτωση ήταν όλες μέχρι σήμερα σε απολύτως νεοφιλελεύθερη κατεύθυνση. Αφού η συμφωνία συγκυβέρνησης-διεθνών δανειστών αποσκοπούσε ακριβώς σε αυτό: Στον βίαιο νεοφιλελεύθερο μετασχηματισμό της ελληνικής οικονομίας και της ελληνικής κοινωνίας, προς όφελος των ολιγαρχών της παγκοσμιοποιημένης οικονομίας. Κουβέντα λοιπόν δεν γίνεται προεκλογικά για τους βασικούς άξονες της μέχρι σήμερα κυβερνητικής πολιτικής, η οποία με την καθοδήγηση των νεοφιλελεύθερων Ευρωπαίων της Μέρκελ και των εκφραστών του παγκόσμιου κεφαλαίου, οδήγησε τη χώρα στην ύφεση, τη φτώχεια και την ανεργία.”

“Με βασικό όχημα τη λιτότητα για τους πολλούς, αφενός εξαθλίωσαν τα μεσαία και χαμηλά στρώματα της ελληνικής κοινωνίας, φτωχοποιώντας τους ανθρώπους του μόχθου και της εργασίας, περιθωριοποιώντας τους μισθωτούς και τους συνταξιούχους και διαλύοντας τους ελεύθερους επαγγελματίες, τους μικρομεσαίους, αλλά και τους μεσαίους επιχειρηματίες και αφετέρου κατάφεραν να παγώσουν την εθνική οικονομία και να μηδενίσουν την εσωτερική ζήτηση της αγοράς. Τέλος, με στοχευμένες θεσμικές παρεμβάσεις στην παιδεία, την υγεία, τον δημόσιο πλούτο και το περιβάλλον, προετοίμασαν το έδαφος για τη μεγαλύτερης έκτασης ιδιωτικοποίηση και μεταφορά δημόσιων αγαθών σε ιδιωτικά συμφέροντα που συνέβη ποτέ σε μια χώρα. Κι όλα αυτά με πρόσχημα την αποπληρωμή του χρέους, το οποίο, σε πείσμα των νεοφιλελεύθερων παπαγάλων, όχι απλώς δεν μειώθηκε, αλλά αντίθετα, εκτοξεύθηκε τα χρόνια της λιτότητας και των μνημονίων, από το 110% στο 180% του ΑΕΠ.”

“Η πρόσφατη έρευνα της Ελβετικής Τράπεζας Credit Swiss είναι απολύτως αποκαλυπτική για την Ελλάδα: Κατά τη διάρκεια των πολιτικών της λιτότητας και των μνημονίων, όταν η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία των Ελλήνων εξαθλιώθηκαν οικονομικά και απομονώθηκαν κοινωνικά, κάποιοι ελάχιστοι στην Ελλάδα αύξησαν τον πλούτο τους. Συγκεκριμένα, ενώ μέχρι το 2008 το 1% του ελληνικού πληθυσμού κατείχε το 48% του εθνικού πλούτου, το 2014 η ίδια εγχώρια οικονομική ολιγαρχία αύξησε το ποσοστό του εθνικού πλούτου που έχει στην κατοχή της, στο 56%! Κάποιοι λίγοι, δηλαδή, κέρδισαν από τη δική μας καταστροφή. Κι αυτός ο πλούτος ούτε καταγράφηκε στην φορολογητέα ύλη, ούτε και συνέβαλε στην αποπληρωμή του χρέους. Με άλλα λόγια, αυτό που η Ελβετική Τράπεζα αναγνωρίζει ότι συνέβη στη χώρα μας, είναι η χαρά του νεοφιλελευθερισμού!”

“Αυτές οι εκλογές, όσο εξαρτάται από τους δεξιούς και τους κεντροαριστερούς νεοφιλελεύθερους, θα διεξαχθούν ερήμην της πολιτικής και των πολιτικών διαφορών. Θα κάνουν τα αδύνατα δυνατά ώστε να διεξαχθούν σε ένα κλίμα απολιτίκ κινδυνολογίας, όπου η συζήτηση θα στρέφεται γύρω από τεχνικά ζητήματα, όπως τι θα κάνει ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ αν συμβεί το ένα ή το άλλο κακό ενδεχόμενο. Θα συζητούν ο,τιδήποτε άλλο, εκτός του πραγματικού διακυβεύματος αυτών των εκλογών, που είναι η απαλλαγή από τις νεοφιλελεύθερες μνημονιακές πολιτικές και η αλλαγή πορείας της Ελλάδας, αλλά και της Ευρώπης, για τα επόμενα χρόνια.”

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
