Η Γαλλία στις φλόγες!

Yπό «πολιορκία» και σήμερα η Γαλλία με αιτία πολέμου τα εργασιακά

Πεδίο μάχης έγινε για άλλη μια φορά σήμερα το Παρίσι αλλά και μεγάλες πόλεις της γαλλικής περιφέρειας, όπου τα γαλλικά συνδικάτα είχαν δώσει ραντεβού στους δρόμους καλώντας σε εθνική κινητοποίηση. Ο νέος «Μάης» έχει ξεσπάσει στη Γαλλία με αφορμή το νομοσχέδιο της κυβέρνησης Βαλς που αλλάζει το εργασιακό τοπίο, καταστρατηγώντας θεμελιώδη δικαιώματα των εργαζομένων.

Επρόκειτο για την όγδοη μεγάλη κινητοποίηση των τελευταίων 2 περίπου μηνών. Η συμμετοχή ήταν και σήμερα πολύ μεγάλη με την αστυνομία να υπολογίζει τους διαδηλωτές στους 19.000 και τους διοργανωτές να ανακοινώνουν ότι περισσότεροι από 100.000 εργαζόμενοι βρέθηκαν στους δρόμους για να διεκδικήσουν τα δικαιώματα τους. Υπενθυμίζεται ότι στη μεγαλειώδη πανεθνική κινητοποίηση της 31ης Μαρτίου, οι διαδηλωτές που συμμετείχαν έφτασαν τους 390.000, σύμφωνα με την αστυνομία με τους οργανωτές της να τους υπολογίζουν στους 1,2 εκατομμύρια.

Διυλιστήρια και δεξαμενές αποθήκευσης καυσίμων είναι πλέον το επίκεντρο του κινήματος διαμαρτυρίας. Χθες, πέντε διυλιστήρια από τα οκτώ της Γαλλίας ήταν αποκλεισμένα ή εκτός λειτουργίας, με τις ελλείψεις να πλήττουν περισσότερα από 4.000 πρατήρια, σύμφωνα με μία εφαρμογή στο κινητό που χρησιμοποιούν οι οδηγοί αυτοκινήτων σε αναζήτηση καυσίμων. Σημειώνεται, ότι η χθεσινή μέρα ήταν η τρίτη κατά την οποία έγινε άντληση από τα στρατηγικά αποθέματα πετρελαϊκών προϊόντων, τα οποία επαρκούν για 115 ημέρες.

Σήμερα οι εργαζόμενοι προχώρησαν και σε αποκλεισμούς πυρηνικών μονάδων παραγωγής ενέργειας της χώρας, ενώ τα συνδικάτα βρίσκονται σε αναβρασμό πραγματοποιώντας συνελεύσεις για το αν θα προκηρύξουν απεργία.

Απεργιακές κινητοποιήσεις έχουν εκδηλωθεί τις τελευταίες ημέρες και σε σημαντικά λιμάνια της χώρας, ενώ από στις κινητοποιήσεις συμμετέχουν σποραδικά και οι σιδηροδρομικοί.

Τα συνδικάτα όχι μόνο δεν κάμπτονται αλλά δηλώνουν το ένα μετά το άλλο ότι τις επόμενες μέρες θα κλιμακώσουν τον αγώνα τους καλώντας ακόμα και σε απεργία διαρκείας.

Απέναντι στο απεργιακό κίνημα, η γαλλική κυβέρνηση παραμένει αμετακίνητη για τη μεταρρύθμιση της απασχόλησης και την απελευθέρωση της αγοράς εργασίας, τη στιγμή που η ανεργία βρίσκεται στο 10%. Ο πρωθυπουργός της χώρας Μανουέλ Βαλς δήλωσε σήμερα ότι πιθανόν να υπάρχουν βελτιώσεις και τροποποιήσεις στο επίμαχο νομοσχέδιο αλλά ξεκαθάρισε ότι δεν θα υπάρξει συνολική αναθεώρηση.

Παράλληλα η κυβέρνηση απάντησε στις κινητοποιήσεις με δυνάμεις ασφαλείας. Στο Παρίσι, αλλά και στη δυτική πόλη Ναντ, διαδηλωτές έστησαν οδοφράγματα, έβαλαν φωτιές κι έσπασαν τζαμαρίες καταστημάτων. Στη δυτική πόλη Μπορντό, περίπου 100 άνθρωποι επιτέθηκαν σε αστυνομικό τμήμα, πετώντας αντικείμενα και προκαλώντας φθορές σε περιπολικό όχημα. Η αστυνομία απάντησε με δακρυγόνα αλλά και συλλήψεις.

Απ'ότι φαίνεται η νεοφιλελεύθερη λαίλαπα δεν θα περάσει εύκολα από τη Γαλλία παρά τους όποιους σχεδιασμούς:

- Το πείραμα στην Ελλάδα εξελίσσεται σύμφωνα με το σχέδιο. Μόλις φέρουμε τους μισθούς στο επίπεδο που θέλουμε και διαλύσουμε το κοινωνικό κράτος, θα συνεχίσουμε με την υπόλοιπη ευρωζώνη.

- Καλά με τα PIIGS, αλλά τι θα γίνει με τη Γαλλία, τη Γερμανία και τον υπόλοιπο βορρά; Οι άνθρωποι εκεί δεν θα αποδεχθούν ποτέ τέτοιες πολιτικές.

- Θα τις αποδεχθούν. Θα αρχίσουμε από την Ιταλία και την Ισπανία. Θα δώσουμε εντολή στους οίκους αξιολόγησης να επιτεθούν, θα τις αποκλείσουμε από τις αγορές και θα τις ρίξουμε στην παγίδα της Ευρωπαϊκής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας. Θα αναγκαστούν να πάρουν παρόμοια μέτρα με την Ελλάδα, ώστε να λαμβάνουν ρευστότητα. Μετά, θα επιτεθούμε στη Γαλλία και την Γερμανία.

- Θα υπάρξουν φοβερές ταραχές!

- Θα προσπαθήσουμε να τις περιορίσουμε. Έχουμε ήδη αναγκάσει τις κυβερνήσεις σε Ελλάδα και Ισπανία να προχωρήσουν σε ποινικοποίηση των διαδηλώσεων.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events.
