People of Venezuela just proved again that common US sabotage operations are not effective anymore

Since Hugo Chavez era, the US empire has tried every dirty trick against the socialist governments in Venezuela. From continuous economic sabotage to funding provocative operations of the right-wing opposition, and of course, unlimited propaganda by the Western mainstream media.

After the constitutional coup against Dilma Rousseff in Brazil, Nicolas Maduro is last barrier to be removed in the rοw of some key Latin America countries, so that the Empire will take back full control of its backyard.

The dirty war against Venezuela becomes wilder and wilder since Chavez decided to put back under state control the oil industry. Which means that the US big oil cartel is primarily behind the common sabotage operations (that we've seen so many times in past especially in Latin America) against Venezuelan government. It's not rocket science.

Recall that, a document under the title VENEZUELA: AMERICAN OIL AND SERVICE COMPANIES ENGAGE AMBASSADOR, from July, 2009, depicts the agony of the US oil corporations to stay in Venezuela, as they had already lost control over country's rich reserves. The summary is quite enlightening as gives the impression that the US companies were afraid that could be completely thrown out of the Venezuelan oil industry in the close future by then Chavez administration.

These operations, taken from CIA's textbooks, are aiming mainly to provoke public anger towards the ultimate goal, which is overthrowing socialist governments in order to be replaced by right-wing Washington's puppets.

As TeleSur reported:

Chavismo won another historic victory today in spite of the brutal U.S. war on the economy, the Washington-backed violence geared to the comprehensive and exhaustive media assault over the last few years, all aimed at overthrowing the government of President Nicolas Maduro. It hasn't worked - not with these people.

After all that the Venezuelan people have suffered, deprived of food and other essential products, violent attacks on their schools, hospitals and medical clinics, destruction of other public buildings, sabotage of their electrical grid, regular violent attacks by Colombian paramilitaries, having their elected leaders maligned, lied about and demonized, seeing their government resources diverted from production, services and development to defense, living with distress and fear in their daily lives and seeing their friends and love ones maimed and die simply because of their political views - despite all the suffering they have endured they supported their elected government today and sent the U.S.-backed right wing packing.

The result of regional elections that were held in Venezuela on 15 October 2017, showed again that these operations don't work. Because the majority of Venezuelans have chosen to support the socialist government. The United Socialist Party of Venezuela won at least 17 of the 23 governorships, also garnering 54 percent of the vote.

As expected, most of the mainstream media were shocked with the result and rushed to claim that the election was rigged.

It is obvious that the old style US sabotage methods start to become insufficient and this is probably one main reason why Donald Trump expressed openly his intention to 'take action' against Venezuela.
