Trump directly threatened the Iraqi prime minister for his approach with China with a false flag and subsequent riots

globinfo freexchange

Here is probably the best proof that the 'anti-interventionist' Donald Trump is an absolute fraud. It seems that the current US president is not only the best option for the establishment right now, but he even follows the CIA playbook to the letter ... by himself. As we approach the 2020 presidential election in the United States, Trump does everything he can to please the warmongering neocons and the deep state elements.

Recently, MintPress News made some astonishing revelations according to which Trump directly threatened the Iraqi prime minister. As MintPress revealed: [Important parts highlighted]

Iraq’s caretaker Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi gave a series of remarks on January 5, during a parliamentary session that received surprisingly little media attention. During the session, which also saw Iraq’s Parliament approve the removal of all foreign (including American) troops from the country, Abdul-Mahdi made a series of claims about the lead-up to the recent situation that placed Iraq at the heart of spiking U.S.-Iran tensions. During that session, only part of Abdul-Mahdi’s statements were broadcast on television, after the Iraqi Speaker of the House — Mohammed Al-Halbousi, who has a close relationship with Washington — requested the video feed be cut. Al-Halbousi oddly attended the parliamentary session even though it was boycotted by his allied Sunni and Kurdish representatives.

After the feed was cut, MPs who were present wrote down Abdul-Mahdi’s remarks, which were then given to the Arabic news outlet Ida’at. Per that transcript, Abdul-Mahdi stated that:

The Americans are the ones who destroyed the country and wreaked havoc on it. They have refused to finish building the electrical system and infrastructure projects. They have bargained for the reconstruction of Iraq in exchange for Iraq giving up 50% of oil imports. So, I refused and decided to go to China and concluded an important and strategic agreement with it. Today, Trump is trying to cancel this important agreement.

Abdul-Mahdi continued his remarks, noting that pressure from the Trump administration over his negotiations and subsequent dealings with China grew substantially over time, even resulting in death threats to himself and his defense minister:

After my return from China, Trump called me and asked me to cancel the agreement, so I also refused, and he threatened [that there would be] massive demonstrations to topple me. Indeed, the demonstrations started and then Trump called, threatening to escalate in the event of non-cooperation and responding to his wishes, whereby a third party [presumed to be mercenaries or U.S. soldiers] would target both the demonstrators and security forces and kill them from atop the highest buildings and the US embassy in an attempt to pressure me and submit to his wishes and cancel the China agreement.

I did not respond and submitted my resignation and the Americans still insist to this day on canceling the China agreement. When the defense minister said that those killing the demonstrators was a third party, Trump called me immediately and physically threatened myself and the defense minister in the event that there was more talk about this third party.

Given the lack of media coverage and the cutting of the video feed of Abdul-Mahdi’s full remarks, it is worth pointing out that the narrative he laid out in his censored speech not only fits with the timeline of recent events he discusses but also the tactics known to have been employed behind closed doors by the Trump administration, particularly after Mike Pompeo left the CIA to become Secretary of State.

It seems that we have to deal with CIA's typical strategy concerning the blackmail of foreign leaders and regime change operations. From Latin America to Ukraine and the Middle East, the US imperialists have orchestrated such events to impose their agenda.

Yet, the big difference here is that for the first time, the US president himself plays the role of the economic hit man. And at the same time, he is the boss of the imperialist mafia. Trump has absolutely no problem to do that (and, in fact, he probably thinks that he can demonstrate his toughness to the deep state actors, by doing the dirty job with no hesitation).

However, in reality, the deep state wants things to get done as quiet and clean as possible, as it has been the case with all previous US presidents. So Trump brings its various players to a difficult position with his zeal and his hyper-impulsive temper. It is obvious that all the pro-imperialist apparatus rushed behind him to cover his tracks.

Trump's behavior is a great index showing the level of corruption and declining of the US empire. The empire is struggling so hard to maintain power that we have come now to the point where the US president himself directly threatens foreign leaders in a low-level-CIA-operator style. And it seems now that among his duties is to behave like a global mafia boss. And Trump doesn't have a problem at all to say even live on TV that he left the troops in Syria to 'take the oil'.

Although the establishment and the neocon cabal have no particular problem with Trump's behaviour, as long as he helps them with their endless wars, they would certainly prefer the restoration of the previous norm.

Yet, the available 'tank' of presidential nominees is full of mediocre figures who are incapable to inspire and excite the electorate. Any other Republican, or corporate Democrat could play the role that the establishment wants, but they are all below-average political figures who don't have the charisma to attract the already skeptical US citizens. It seems that, for now, establishment's options are restricted to ... Trump. And the only one who can stop him, but also identified by the establishment as a real threat, is Bernie Sanders.

It is certain that the establishment apparatus will mobilize again all its power to prevent Sanders becoming the next US president. Assuming that Sanders will survive the inside war during the primaries, all dirty tricks against him until the election day are likely to fail. It seems that nothing can stop him now.

So, the deep state may finally be forced to proceed with the plan of last resort, in order to keep Donald Trump in power.

Capitalism & Genocide - Yanis Varoufakis Speech at the Gaza Tribunal, 23rd October 2025, Istanbul

Yanis Varoufakis   On 23rd October, Yanis Varoufakis testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. His speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. In particular, he spoke on the manner in which capitalist dynamics have historically fuelled the white settler colonial project and, more recently, how the accumulation of a new form of capital - which he calls cloud capital - has accelerated, deepened and amplified the economic forces powering and propelling the machinery of genocide.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Munich Shock: Rubio’s Vision of a New Western Century & World Order

GVS Deep Dive   At the 2026 Munich Security Conference, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered one of the most consequential foreign policy speeches of the year. Framed as a call for Western renewal, his address went far beyond NATO reassurance — outlining a vision of sovereignty, industrial consolidation, and civilizational confidence that may signal the end of the post-Cold War global order.   Is this the beginning of a Second Cold War?   Is the West reorganizing around bloc competition?   Or are we witnessing the construction of a new world order?

Stephen Hawking confirms: The problem is Capitalism, not robots!

globinfo freexchange According to world famous physicist Stephen Hawking, the rising use of automated machines may mean the end of human rights – not just jobs. But he’s not talking about robots with artificial intelligence taking over the world, he’s talking about the current capitalist political system and its major players. On Reddit, Hawking said that the economic gap between the rich and the poor will continue to grow as more jobs are automated by machines, and the owners of said machines hoard them to create more wealth for themselves. The insatiable thirst for capitalist accumulation bestowed upon humans by years of lies and terrible economic policy has affected technology in such a way that one of its major goals has become to replace human jobs. If we do not take this warning seriously, we may face unfathomable corporate domination. If we let the same people who buy and sell our political system and resources maintain control of automated technology, the...
