Συναγωνιστές,

Σε όλη τη χώρα απλώνονται κοινωνικοί αγώνες από κάθε μορφής συλλογικότητες ενάντια στη νεοφιλελεύθερη πολιτική της ιδιωτικοποίησης των κοινών μας αγαθών. Μεταξύ αυτών, ξεχωριστή θέση έχει το νερό, η ιδιωτικοποίηση του οποίου σε όλο τον κύκλο του, από τις πηγές μέχρι τη βρύση, θα έχει δραματικές επιπτώσεις στη ζωή και στο περιβάλλον και ιδίως, στην ποιότητα του νερού, τη διαθεσιμότητά του, την ελεύθερη πρόσβαση σε αυτό, τις υποδομές και την τιμολόγησή του.

Είναι προφανές, ότι οι αγώνες για την υπεράσπιση του νερού ως κοινού αγαθού θα είναι τόσο περισσότερο αποτελεσματικοί και νικηφόροι, όσο ενδυναμώνεται η αλληλεγγύη, η δικτύωση και ο συντονισμός των επιμέρους συλλογικοτήτων.

Γι’ αυτόν το λόγο, η Κίνηση 136 πήρε την πρωτοβουλία - και μόνον αυτό - να καλέσει όλες τις συλλογικότητες, που αγωνίζονται για την υπεράσπιση του νερού ως κοινού αγαθού σε μια πρώτη πανελλαδική συνάντηση για να γίνει ανταλλαγή απόψεων και εμπειριών, ανοιχτός διάλογος και προσπάθεια συνθετικής σύγκλισης:

Στην προσέγγιση του θέματος του νερού ως κοινού αγαθού.
Στα μοντέλα διαχείρισης του νερού, κρατικό-δημοτικό-συνεργατικό, καθώς και τη διερεύνηση της δυνατότητας σύνθεσης αυτών.
Στην αξιολόγηση της υπάρχουσας κατάστασης, των διαγραφόμενων εξελίξεων για το νερό και των μορφών του αγώνα και του κινήματος.
Στην υλοποίηση μιας πολιτικής αλληλεγγύης, δικτύωσης και συντονισμού των αγώνων των κινημάτων νερού.

Οι διαδικασίες για όλα τα παραπάνω δεν μπορεί παρά να έχουν χαρακτηριστικά άμεσης δημοκρατίας, «από τα κάτω», χωρίς εξαρτήσεις από την κρατικο-κυβερνητική εξουσία, μακριά από κομματικούς και παραταξιακούς διαχωρισμούς, χωρίς γραφειοκρατία και παραγοντισμό, δουλεύοντας οργανωτικά σε κύκλο και όχι σε πυραμίδα.
