Έξι τύποι πολιτικών που τα μίντια θα τους δώσουν βήμα για διαφορετικούς λόγους


Τα Μέσα Μαζικής Εξαπάτησης (ΜΜΕ) θα δώσουν βήμα σε διαφορετικούς τύπους πολιτικών για διαφορετικούς λόγους:

  • Τα ΜΜΕ θα δώσουν βήμα και θα προωθήσουν νέους πολιτικούς στην πολιτική αρένα οι οποίοι απλά θα πληρώσουν πολλά λεφτά για το σκοπό αυτό. Είναι σχεδόν βέβαιο ότι αυτός ο τύπος πολιτικών είναι απόλυτα ευθυγραμμισμένος με το κατεστημένο.

  • Φυσικά, τα ΜΜΕ θα δώσουν βήμα και θα προωθήσουν πλήρως τους βετεράνους στο πολιτικό πεδίο που έχουν επανειλημμένα δώσει τα διαπιστευτήρια τους στο κατεστημένο με διάφορους τρόπους.

  • Τα ΜΜΕ θα δώσουν βήμα στους 'χρήσιμους ηλίθιους'. Πρόκειται για πολιτικούς που ασπάστηκαν το κατεστημένο, όχι απαραίτητα επειδή επωφελούνται από αυτό, αλλά επειδή έχουν πεισθεί ότι δεν υπάρχει καλύτερος τρόπος για την οργάνωση και εξέλιξη των κοινωνιών. Συχνά, τα ΜΜΕ τους δίνουν το προφίλ του 'καλού παιδιού' που είναι ιδιαίτερα αγαπητό στους ψηφοφόρους.

  • Τα ΜΜΕ θα δώσουν βήμα σε πολιτικούς που θεωρούνται πραγματική απειλή για το κατεστημένο, αλλά μόνο όσο χρειάζεται για να πλήξουν την αξιοπιστία τους και να αποδομήσουν την εικόνα τους, χρησιμοποιώντας συγκεκριμένες στρατηγικές. Αυτό, φυσικά, πρέπει να γίνει μέσα σε ένα απόλυτα ελεγχόμενο περιβάλλον, στο οποίο οι ακριβοπληρωμένοι παπαγάλοι των μίντια θα επιχειρήσουν να κάνουν τη βρόμικη δουλειά.

  • Τα ΜΜΕ θα δώσουν βήμα και θα προωθήσουν από την 'πίσω πόρτα' τους 'κρυπτο-συστημικούς' πολιτικούς. Πρόκειται για πολιτικούς που προέρχονται σχεδόν αποκλειστικά από την άκρα δεξιά και παρουσιάζονται ως αντισυστημικοί, ενώ στην πραγματικότητα δεν είναι τίποτα περισσότερο από εφεδρείες του κατεστημένου. Είναι ιδιαίτερα χρήσιμοι στο να αποπροσανατολίζουν τις μάζες από τον πραγματικό εχθρό (την πλουτοκρατία) και να βρίσκουν αποδιοπομπαίους τράγους στις πιο ευάλωτες ομάδες (π.χ. μετανάστες). Είναι επίσης εξαιρετικά χρήσιμοι στο να διαιρούν το εκλογικό σώμα και να το οδηγούν μακριά από τους πολιτικούς που αποτελούν πραγματική απειλή για το κατεστημένο.

  • Τα ΜΜΕ θα δώσουν βήμα και θα προωθήσουν πλήρως πολιτικούς του κατεστημένου που παρουσιάζονται ως κάτι το καινούργιο και το καινοτόμο, όταν οι ψηφοφόροι χάσουν εντελώς την εμπιστοσύνη τους στις παραδοσιακές πολιτικές δυνάμεις ή πολιτικά πρόσωπα. Συχνά προωθούνται μέσω κάποιων επιφανειακών χαρακτηριστικών και συμβολισμών που δεν έχουν καμία απολύτως σχέση με την ουσία των πολιτικών που πρόκειται να εφαρμόσουν, έτσι ώστε να ξεγελαστούν οι ψηφοφόροι και να πειστούν πως πράγματι ψηφίζουν κάτι καινούργιο. Στην πραγματικότητα, η αποστολή των πολιτικών αυτού του τύπου, είναι να εξασφαλίσουν την κυριαρχία του κατεστημένου και να προχωρήσουν στην εφαρμογή όσων αυτό επιτάσσει.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’
