Ευρωπαϊκή Αριστερά: «Ακολουθήστε το παράδειγμα των Ελλήνων, μποϊκοτάζ στη σύνοδο της Εσθονίας»

Να ακολουθήσουν το παράδειγμα της ελληνικής κυβέρνησης, μποϋκοτάροντας τη διυπουργική σύνοδο στο Ταλίν με θέμα «η κληρονομιά που άφησαν στον 21ο αιώνα τα εγκλήματα από Κομμουνιστικά Καθεστώτα», καλεί τις κυβερνήσεις των κρατών - μελών της ΕΕ η ευρωομάδα της Αριστεράς στο ευρωπαϊκό κοινοβούλιο, GUE/NGL.

Η ανακοίνωση:

«Καταδικάζουμε έντονα την πρωτοβουλία της εσθονικής προεδρίας του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου για τη διοργάνωση διυπουργικής συνόδου, στις 23 Αυγούστου στο Ταλίν, με θέμα «Η κληρονομιά που άφησαν στον 21ο αιώνα τα εγκλήματα από Κομμουνιστικά Καθεστώτα».

Σε μια περίοδο που η ακροδεξιά και οι νεοναζί εκμεταλλεύονται την αποτυχία των πολιτικών της Ε.Ε., η εξίσωση του Ναζισμού και Κομμουνισμού είναι ιστορικά αναληθής, επικίνδυνη και απαράδεκτη.

Η επιλογή της κυβέρνησης της Εσθονίας να εμβαθύνει στα «κομμουνιστικά εγκλήματα» αποδεικνύει την ξεκάθαρη πρόθεση της κυβέρνησης να χρησιμοποιήσει την εκ περιτροπής προεδρία της Ε.Ε. για καθαρά ιδεολογικούς λόγους.

Καλούμε την Ευρωπαϊκή Προεδρία της Εσθονίας να ακυρώσει την ιστορικά και πολιτικά μεροληπτική διυπουργική σύνοδο, η οποία είναι μη αποδέκτη για τα ευρωπαϊκά πλαίσια.

Ζητάμε από τους Υπουργούς Δικαιοσύνης των κρατών-μελών της Ε.Ε., και ειδικά εκείνους που υπηρετούν και προωθούν προοδευτικές πολιτικές, να μποϋκοτάρουν αυτή την διοργάνωση, όπως ήδη έχει κάνει η ελληνική Κυβέρνηση

Τέτοιου είδους εκδηλώσεις υπονομεύουν τον πολιτικό διάλογο και τη συνύπαρξη στην Ε.Ε., και προσβάλλουν την ιστορική μνήμη των Ευρωπαίων πολιτών».
