Στην Εσθονία, χώρα της … δημοκρατίας και της ΕΕ, δεσπόζει μνημείο που ανεγέρθη υπό την αιγίδα της «Ένωσης των αγωνιστών για την ελευθερία». Πρόκειται για τον σύλλογο των Εσθονών που υπηρέτησαν στα χιτλερικά SS…

Στην Εσθονία, χώρα της δημοκρατίας και της ΕΕ, κάθε 22 του Σεπτέμβρη έχουν «μέρα πένθους». Γιατί; Γιατί τότε, στις 22 Σεπτέμβρη 1944 ο Κόκκινος Στρατός απελευθέρωσε το Ταλίν από τους Ναζί…

Το μνημείο υπέρ των Ναζί ανεγέρθηκε στην Εσθονία, στην πόλη Λιούλα, ήδη από το 2004. Σχεδόν ταυτόχρονα, δηλαδή, με την είσοδο της χώρας στην ΕΕ… Το μνημείο απεικονίζει Εσθονό στρατιώτη ντυμένο με τη γερμανική στρατιωτική στολή των Ες-Ες. Στην πλάκα του αναγράφεται: «Οι Εσθονοί άνδρες που πολέμησαν το 1940-1945 κατά του μπολσεβικισμού και για την αποκατάσταση της εσθονικής κυριαρχίας». Στην εκδήλωση των αποκαλυπτηρίων του μνημείου, ο κυβερνήτης της πόλης, ονόματι Τίιτ Μάντισον, είχε δηλώσει: «Αυτό το μνημείο είναι για τους ανθρώπους που έπρεπε να επιλέξουν μεταξύ δύο κακών, και επέλεξαν το λιγότερο κακό». Το «λιγότερο κακό» ήταν, φυσικά, ο ναζισμός κι ο δοσιλογισμός…

Τον Ιούλη του 2012, πριν από μόλις 5 χρόνια, ήταν ο ίδιος ο υπουργός Άμυνας της Εσθονίας (Ούρμας Ρεϊνσάλι) που παραβρέθηκε σε εκδήλωση της λεγόμενης «Ένωσης Αγωνιστών της Ελευθερίας». Η προσφώνησή του προς τους βετεράνους της 20ής εσθονικής μεραρχίας των SS, που πολέμησαν στο πλευρό της ναζιστικής Γερμανίας και προς τους απογόνους τους, ήταν ότι «η συνεισφορά τους έσωσε την τιμή του εσθονικού λαού»…

Λίγο νωρίτερα, τον Φλεβάρη του 2012, το πολιτικό καθεστώς της Εσθονίας είχε απεμπολήσει ήδη απροκάλυπτα κάθε πρόσχημα: Το εσθονικό κοινοβούλιο πήρε απόφαση με την οποία η Εσθονία αναγνώρισε και επίσημα τους Εσθονούς ναζί ως «αγωνιστές της ελευθερίας»… Ταυτόχρονα το κυβερνητικό «Μεταρρυθμιστικό» κόμμα της Εσθονίας και τα απομεινάρια των εσθονικών Ες-Ες υπέγραψαν σύμφωνο το οποίο περιλάμβανε τρία μέτρα:

α) Τη δημιουργία μνημείων των «αξιωματικών» της «Εσθονικής Δημοκρατίας» που «έπεσαν θύματα» των «διωγμών» των «δυνάμεων κατοχής» (σ.σ. εννοείται η ΕΣΣΔ) από το 1940. Δηλαδή, να ανεγερθούν αγάλματα στην πρωτεύουσα Ταλίν προς τιμήν των συνεργατών των ναζί.

β) Τη χρηματοδότηση της αποπεράτωσης ανάλογου με τα παραπάνω μνημείου σε μια λουθηρανική εκκλησία στην περιοχή Τόρι στο νότο της χώρας, που αποτελεί άντρο των Εσθονών νεοναζιστών.

γ) Την «αναζήτηση δυνατοτήτων» χρηματοδότησης των απογόνων των Ες Ες από τον κρατικό προϋπολογισμό…

Το σύμφωνο νεκρανάστασης του ναζισμού στην Εσθονία, όπως είχε δηλώσει ο επικεφαλής της κοινοβουλευτικής επιτροπής Άμυνας της χώρας (Μάτι Ραιντμα) «εκφράζει τον σεβασμό σε εκείνους που πολέμησαν για την ελευθερία της Εσθονίας»…

Την ίδια χρονιά πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Εσθονία εκδήλωση για τα 100 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του obersturmbannführer των Ες Ες, Χάραλντ Ρίιπαλα. Ο εν λόγω ήταν ο επικεφαλής των ναζιστικών εσθονικών τμημάτων της αστυνομίας, συμμετείχε σε εκκαθαριστικές επιχειρήσεις εναντίον παρτιζάνικων τμημάτων και άμαχου πληθυσμού στη Λευκορωσία, μεταξύ αυτών και στη σφαγή σχεδόν του συνόλου του πληθυσμού της πόλης Νοβογκρούντοκ…

Ήδη από τη δεκαετία του 2000 τα ναζιστικά αποβράσματα τιμούνται στο έδαφος της Εσθονίας με την παρουσία και τη συμμετοχή αντιπροσωπειών μιας σειράς… δημοκρατικών χωρών. Χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα η (παρόντος του Εσθονού υπουργού Άμυνας) κατ’ έτος άσκηση – αναβίωση του έργου της χιτλερικής ομάδας «Ερνα» στην οποία το 2008 είχαν πάει μέρος ομάδες από τις ΗΠΑ, τη Γερμανία, τη Λιθουανία, τη Λετονία, τη Νορβηγία, τη Δανία και το Βέλγιο. Τι ήταν η «Έρνα»:

«(…) η συγκεκριμένη ομάδα σαμποτέρ δημιουργήθηκε στη Φινλανδία και εκπαιδεύτηκε από τους Γερμανούς ναζί, ενώ στις γραμμές της συμμετείχαν 38 φασίστες Εσθονοί στρατιώτες και 4 αξιωματικοί και ενισχύθηκε με 17 άλλους φασίστες. Στόχος της ναζιστικής επιχείρησης ήταν η ανατίναξη σιδηροδρομικών γραμμών, η πρόκληση καταστροφών και γενικότερα πανικού στα μετόπισθεν του Κόκκινου Στρατού. Η ομάδα αυτή έμεινε γνωστή όχι για τα «ηρωικά κατορθώματά» της, αφού δεν κατάφερε να πετύχει τη διακοπή της σιδηροδρομικής επικοινωνίας Νάρβα – Ταλίν, όπως ήταν ο βασικός της στόχος, αλλά για τη σκληρότητα με την οποία σκότωσε στελέχη του ΚΚ και του σοβιετικού κράτους, καθώς και Σοβιετικούς στρατιώτες, χαράσσοντας στα σώματά τους το γράμμα «Ε». Λίγες μέρες μετά την εμφάνιση της δράσης της στα μετόπισθεν του Κόκκινου Στρατού, κυκλώθηκε σε μια βαλτώδη περιοχή από σοβιετικές δυνάμεις και εξολοθρεύτηκε. Λιγοστοί φασίστες – σαμποτέρ, περνώντας μέσα από μιαν ελώδη περιοχή, κατάφεραν να φτάσουν τη γραμμή του μετώπου και να διαφύγουν. Ο αρχηγός τους, συνταγματάρχης Αντς-Χέινο Κουργκ, τοποθετήθηκε λίγο αργότερα διοικητής συντάγματος στην 20ή εσθονική μεραρχία των SS, που συγκρότησαν οι ναζί, όταν κατέλαβαν την Εσθονία» (Ριζοσπάστης, 3/8/2008).

Τα ναζιστικά αποβράσματα αποτελούν αναπόσπαστο στοιχείο του… δημοκρατικού καθεστώτος της Εσθονίας. Μάλιστα στις 28 Φλεβάρη κάθε χρόνο, εκπρόσωποί τους καλούνται στις επίσημες εκδηλώσεις στο πρωθυπουργικό Μέγαρο με αφορμή την εθνική εορτή της Εσθονίας. Ειδικά το 2011 ο πρωθυπουργός (Άνσιπ) τους είχε υποδεχτεί έτσι: «Σας ευχαριστώ για όσα κάνατε για το εσθονικό κράτος και το λαό. Η Εσθονία είναι πλέον ένα κράτος για το οποίο μπορούμε να είμαστε υπερήφανοι»…

Αυτό το «περήφανο» κράτος έφτασε να είναι τόσο… περήφανο ώστε το 2012 έκανε την εμφάνισή του στο έδαφός του μια απίστευτη διαφήμιση.

Ήταν η διαφήμιση της εταιρείας «GasTerm» που διαχειρίζεται τη διανομή του φυσικού αερίου και την πώληση μηχανημάτων θέρμανσης. Το σλόγκαν της εταιρείας («Ευέλικτη, εύκολη και αποτελεσματική»), συνοδευόταν με μια φωτογραφία από την πύλη του ναζιστικού στρατοπέδου συγκέντρωσης του Άουσβιτς.

Ήταν εκεί, στο Άουσβιτς, που «ευέλικτα, εύκολα και αποτελεσματικά» οι ναζί χρησιμοποιούσαν τα κρεματόρια για τη μαζική εξόντωση εκατοντάδων χιλιάδων ανθρώπων…

Σε αυτή τη… δημοκρατική χώρα της ΕΕ, λοιπόν, είναι που το κράτος

  • διώκει το Κομμουνιστικό Κόμμα,
  • απαγορεύει τα κομμουνιστικά σύμβολα,
  • διώκει τους αντιφασίστες βετεράνους
  • και ταυτόχρονα τιμά με κάθε επισημότητα όσους συμμετείχαν στις εσθονικές λεγεώνες των «Ες-Ες.

Σε αυτή τη… δημοκρατική χώρα της ΕΕ είναι που διεξάγονται συνέδρια για τα «εγκλήματα των κομμουνιστών»…

Και σε αυτή τη χώρα είναι που

  • σύμφωνα με τον δημοκράτη συνταγματολόγο Ευάγγελο Βενιζέλο (επίσημο επισκέπτη της ναζιστοκρατούμενης Ουκρανίας το 2014),
  • σύμφωνα με τον εγχώριο Τύπο της εξωνημένης πλουτοκρατίας και
  • σύμφωνα με τους κάθε λογής «Μένουμε Ευρώπη», χτυπάει η καρδιά του «αξιακού και θεσμικού υπόβαθρου» της ΕΕ.

Πολύ λογικό…

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
