Tucker Carlson accidentally promotes one of the most anti-capitalist, real-Left positions!

We wouldn't believe it if we wouldn't have seen it and hear it with our own eyes and ears, but the following phrase came out from Tucker Carlson's mouth:

Every minute you are angry about race, is a minute you are not thinking about class, which, of course, is the real divide in this country. Working class people of all colors have a lot more in common - infinitely more in common with each other, than they do with some overpaid MSNBC anchor. And if you are allowed to think about that for long enough, you might start get unauthorized ideas about economics. And that would be disruptive to a very lucrative status quo. So, they whip you into a frenzy of racial fear so that it never enters your mind. It's a diversion. Everyone hates each other, they get to keep their money.

In another effort to attack the Left, or more precisely, what he thinks as 'Left', Tucker Carlson actually ended up to promote one of the most anti-capitalist, real-Left positions!

Pseudo-Left neoliberals should be ashamed for the fact that someone from the far-right, ultra-conservative camp, has the courage to identify such a problem.

Pseudo-Left pundits will never admit that their elites divide the masses, in order to prevent them realize that this is a class-war, above all. Therefore, prevent a massive uprise against the elites who want to "keep their money" as Carlson says, keep their privileges and power, maintain status quo.

Yet Tucker, either deliberately, or due to his ignorance, fails to identify some other key aspects around this "divide and conquer" strategy.

First of all, MSNBC anchors and their political class, that is, all Democratic candidates they promote against progressives, are not the Left. They are neoliberals, which is a completely different ideology.

Second, the ultra-conservative right is deeply pro-capitalist and even neoliberal, especially on economic issues.

Third, the ultra-conservative right is actually doing what the neoliberal establishment does by scapegoating immigrants. Therefore, the ultra-conservative right is diverting working class from the powerful elites, which is the root of the problem, towards poor and powerless people like immigrants. This means that the ultra-conservative right plays a critical role in preventing the working class to realize that there is a class-war in which the elites are winning without facing the slightest resistance.

Moreover, what Tucker Carlson is also missing, is that the ultra-conservative right has its own wealthy donors. And the last thing they would like to see, is a solid and united working class who would fight against capitalist tyranny. That's why both neoliberals and ultra-conservatives fiercely attack progressives like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, whose political agenda includes socialist policies in its core.

Nevertheless, the fact is that even someone from the ultra-conservative camp, like Tucker Carlson, has the guts to spell some truth and essentially speak openly about the class-war. This gives you another indication for the depth of the moral and ideological crisis of the neoliberal establishment and its overpaid mouthpieces.
