How the anti-Trump liberal capitalists beat their rivals and took back America with their Biden puppet

As we pointed out right after last November's US general election, the globalist faction of the US capital (primarily consisted by the liberal plutocracy) had the chance to counterattack against the capitalists around Trump through Biden's recent victory, in the ongoing capitalist civil war.

Yet, we didn't have so far the details of how the liberal capitalist faction managed to beat its rivals.

Surprisingly enough, those details have been revealed by the liberal machine itself through a recent article on Time. Apart from the shocking revelations, what's even more shocking is the way that the liberal establishment perceives Democracy. In short, the article unravels the liberal way of thinking, which views the liberal status quo as the totally indisputable norm that has to be restored at any cost. Even if that means manipulation of the democratic processes themselves!

The first surprise comes from the following paragraph:

A second odd thing happened amid Trump’s attempts to reverse the result: corporate America turned on him. Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump’s candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede. To the President, something felt amiss. “It was all very, very strange,” Trump said on Dec. 2. “Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.” In a way, Trump was right.

These few lines completely verify our analysis on the conditions shaped by a vicious capitalist civil war. The admission that corporate America turned on Trump as "Hundreds of major business leaders, many of whom had backed Trump's candidacy and supported his policies, called on him to concede.", fully verifies what we wrote in the beginning of this year:

We need to understand that this civil war between the capitalist factions does not come out of any substantially different ideological or political approach. Essentially, it's only a tough bargain. Capitalists just pick sides to negotiate terms and secure their position in the post-capitalist era, which already looks like a kind of 21st century corporate feudalism.

Well, it seems that some Trump powerful backers picked the winner side when they realized that they are losing the game.

Also, the ascertainment that Trump attempted to reverse the result along with the admission that he was essentially right when he said that“Within days after the election, we witnessed an orchestrated effort to anoint the winner, even while many key states were still being counted.”, proves that the capitalist factions have turned the American democracy from their private playground into their private battlefield where they try to solve their differences. Indeed, as we also wrote:

All these crises of the last two decades revealed more and more clearly this merciless war among the capitalists. As these have the real power with the big money and the big media, this war not only overshadows every effort for a real alternative against the capitalist system. It even brutally crushes every attempt for a democratic revival. The rampageous bulls of capitalism are fighting each other in an arena in which democracy has now turned into dust under their violent clatters.

As we continue the reading, surprises keep coming like storm.

The next paragraph essentially reveals that the world of labor allied with the part of the oligarchy that fights Trump. And quite paradoxically, the author of the article labels this development as "conspiracy". Furthermore, the author openly admits that this conspiracy "curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs."(!!!):

There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans. The pact was formalized in a terse, little-noticed joint statement of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and AFL-CIO published on Election Day. Both sides would come to see it as a sort of implicit bargain–inspired by the summer’s massive, sometimes destructive racial-justice protests–in which the forces of labor came together with the forces of capital to keep the peace and oppose Trump’s assault on democracy.

This development fully verifies what we also wrote. That is:

At the time when the liberal capitalists ran out of tricks (and social movements were pushing for real change in the US), Trump came to their rescue. Suddenly, the Obama fraud was almost forgotten and all the progressives had to align behind the liberal fraudsters in order to defeat the "creepy orange clown". After four years of anti-Trump liberal hysteria and a pandemic nightmare that also came right on time, the liberal capitalists managed to put another puppet in power. And they did it without the slightest retreat against their neoliberal order that almost wiped out the US working class all previous years.

Although the author claims that the whole process was meant to protect American democracy rather than lead to Trump's defeat, another shocking revelation comes on surface. The fact that, in essence, all this anti-Trump effort bypassed some constitutional procedures to achieve its goals. As we read further [emphasis added]:

The handshake between business and labor was just one component of a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election–an extraordinary shadow effort dedicated not to winning the vote but to ensuring it would be free and fair, credible and uncorrupted. [...] Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction.

As you can see, the whole operation was also reinforced with an aggressive PR campaign and censorship of different views in social media. A censorship that the liberal machine now expands against many progressive, anti-establishment outlets of the real Left.

The last paragraph of the introduction in this article tells you all you need to know about how the liberal machine perceives Democracy. Although the article insists over and over again that this was an operation to save Democracy itself, at the same time it calls it a conspiracy by "a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.

Well, how about the real motives of this powerful cabal?

It seems that in front of this emergency situation of "saving Democracy", it's not permitted someone to question the motives of this cabal, according to the liberal perception. And that's because in reality, it will naturally turn out that this whole drama is about the outcome of the capitalist civil war. It has nothing to do with "saving Democracy":

That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.

It's rather funny that this paragraph also exposes the ultimate goal of this revelation. The phrase in the beginning "That's why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, ..." shows that the liberal establishment has used one of its most prestigious PR weapons (Time) to shape public opinion in advance.

That is, to shape the views of the American public prior to any potential "uncontrolled" leaks concerning this whole operation, in order to make Americans believe that it was solely carried out for the purpose of restoring American democracy. Well, it seems that its purpose was only to restore neoliberal order and in the process, even some democratic procedures had to be manipulated.

Comments

  1. Nothing to do with saving democracy. Everything to do with expanding the empire, as we saw Jozo the Clown's handlers immediately sending bombers to Norway to "send Russia a message about Russian Aggression™., that doesn't exist."

Capitalism & Genocide - Yanis Varoufakis Speech at the Gaza Tribunal, 23rd October 2025, Istanbul

Yanis Varoufakis   On 23rd October, Yanis Varoufakis testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. His speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. In particular, he spoke on the manner in which capitalist dynamics have historically fuelled the white settler colonial project and, more recently, how the accumulation of a new form of capital - which he calls cloud capital - has accelerated, deepened and amplified the economic forces powering and propelling the machinery of genocide.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Will Mamdani manage to liberate New York from brutal neoliberalism?

globinfo freexchange    Fifty years ago, New York City was on the verge of collapse . The politicians who run the city had borrowed more and more money from the banks to pay for its growing services and welfare. But in the early 70s, the middle classes fled from the city and the taxes they paid disappeared with them. So, the banks lent the city even more. But then, they began to worry about the size of the growing debt and whether the city would ever be able to pay it back. And then, one day in 1975, the banks just stopped.   The city held its regular meeting to issue bonds in return for the loans, overseen by the city's financial controller. The banks were supposed to turn up at 11 a.m., but it soon became clear that none of them were going to appear. The meeting was rescheduled for 2 p.m. and the banks promised they would turn up. What happened that day in New York, marked a radical shift in power. The banks insisted that in order to protect their loans, they sho...

The REAL reason why Trump is attacking Latin America

Geopolitical Economy Report   The Donald Trump administration seeks to forcibly impose the US empire's hegemony in Latin America, waging war on Venezuela, imposing sanctions on Colombia's President Gustavo Petro, hitting Brazil with tariffs, and meddling in Argentina's election. Ben Norton explains how Trump and Marco Rubio are trying to cut off all western hemisphere ties with China and Russia, bringing back the colonial Monroe Doctrine, now known as the Donroe Doctrine.

First predictions for the snap elections in Greece

Greek elections globinfo freexchange First predictions for the snap elections in Greece have started already. According to the German newspaper Bild, SYRIZA appears with heavy losses with a percentage of 28%. Close to SYRIZA is the right-Wing New Democracy with 25% (little less than 3% lower than in previous elections) and the new Popular Unity party that came from the split of SYRIZA, appears to gather 8% of the votes. All first polls show significant losses for Alexis Tsipras and SYRIZA. In the last few days, many members of the party have resigned and Tsipras has to deal also with the internal crisis in his party after the split according to the plan B of the Brussels bureaufascists. Most of the early predictions give Lafazanis' Popular Unity a percentage of 7-8%, while SYRIZA's partners in the coalition government, Independent Greeks, struggle to reach the crucial 3% to enter the new parliament. In any case, the split of SYRIZA creates an even...

Priceless: Zelensky told the truth about the war in Ukraine at its beginning!

globinfo freexchange    How did this escape the radars of mainstream media? Well, the answer is obvious, yet still, it is astonishing the fact that already back in 2022, at the beginning of the war in Ukraine, one of the major outlets of Western imperialism, actually translated this part of the interview with West's puppet, Volodymyr Zelensky. At 12:28 of the video, Zelensky starts spelling the truth about the real reason behind the war in Ukraine!    Zelensky admits:                            There are those in the West who don't mind a long war because it would mean exhausting Russia, even if this means the demise of Ukraine and the cost of Ukrainian lives. This is definitely in the interest of some countries. For other countries, it would be better if the war ended quickly because Russia's market is big one that their economies are su...

Already happens: Capitalism destroys human labor force and goes to the next phase

by system failure Connecting the dots one can discover the most nightmarish scenarios. Destructive capitalism's next phase is the total substitution of the human labor force with robotic machines, or in other words, the hyper-automatization. There is a process taking place right now, and no one (or nearly no one) knows what would happen after its completion. The true picture behind unemployment From a latest article in PressTV: “ Did you know that there are nearly 102 million working age Americans that do not have a job right now? And 20 percent of all families in the United States do not have a single member that is employed. So how in the world can the government claim that the unemployment rate has “dropped” to '6.3 percent'?” “ Well, it all comes down to how you define who is 'unemployed'. For example, last month the government moved another 988,000 Americans into the 'not in the labor force' category.” http://www.presstv.ir/detail...
