Έχει επίσης παρακολουθήσει τις συνθήκες προστασίας και έχει προχωρησει στην εκτίμηση αναγκών για περισσότερους από 80.000 εκτοπισμένους και σχεδόν 3.500 άτομα έχουν πάρει έγκριση χρηματικής βοήθειας, ενώ ορισμένοι από αυτούς την λαμβάνουν ήδη. Νομική υποστήριξη θα παρέχεται σε ευάλωτες οικογένειες για να διασφαλιστεί ότι μπορούν να έχουν πρόσβαση στα δικαιώματά τους ως Ιρακινοί πολίτες, ενώ θα γίνονται παραπομπές για άτομα με ειδικές ανάγκες συνδρομής. Επίσης, πολλοί άνθρωποι τράπηκαν σε φυγή χωρίς ταυτοποιητικά έγγραφα, και τους βοηθάμε να αποκτήσουν καινούρια.”

“Περίπου 1,2 εκατομμύρια Ιρακινοί έχουν εκτοπιστεί μέχρι στιγμής το 2014, στους οποίους συμπεριλαμβάνονται περισσότεροι από 600.000 που έφυγαν λόγω των συρράξεων στην περιοχή Anbar που ξεκίνησαν τον Ιανουάριο, και περισσότεροι από 600.000 που εκτοπίστηκαν λόγω των συγκρούσεων στη Μοσούλη και τα περίχωρά της, και πιο πρόσφατα στην Sinjar, από τις αρχές του Αυγούστου.”
