A temporary turn of 180 degrees by the neocon hawks

by system failure

All indications point to the fact that the US and their allies failed, for one more time, to put under control the Middle East and establish a safe environment for the Western oil companies. Whether ISIS is a Western creation, as many believe, or not, the chaos bequeathed by the Bush administration in Iraq tends to grow.

As the ISIS appears to expand and recruit new members, even from the Western countries, everyone realizes that the danger is much greater than initially estimated. The neocon hawks understand that they must focus on the ISIS problem dropping their plans for Russia at least for the moment (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/06/cold-war-20-dangerous-games-from_23.html), in order to eliminate the threat of the so-called Islamic State.

Despite sanctions against Russia, the Western allies showed some signs of a 180 degree turn, lately. Obama in his recent statement has pointed the contribution of Russia and China to the destruction of the Syrian chemicals (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/08/greece-nowhere-between-allies.html), while the French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius called for all countries in the Middle East, including Iran, to join the fight against Islamic State (IS) fighters, something which gave Iran the opportunity to request for the lifting of the Western sanctions (http://rt.com/news/line/2014-08-21/#68924).

It is characteristic that the US-Israel relations are not in the best shape, and this is not only due to the Israeli policy concerning Gaza, but also because the US are trying to approach Iran, and one reason is probably because they think that the Iranian army, which did not get involved in deleterious wars for many years, is suitable to contribute to the fight against the IS fighters.

The most remarkable is that one of the major, mainstream US think tanks responsible for the design of the US policy in many cases, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), released a report according to which the Ukraine crisis is the West's fault, not Putin's. (http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2014/08/council-foreign-relations-ukraine-crisis-wests-putins-fault.html) This is probably the best indication that the neocon hawks want to gather everyone against the unexpected IS threat. The real intentions, however, are not to be published broadly. (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/07/cold-war-20-old-school-behind-it.html)

The neocons realize that Obama is not determined to follow their lunatic plans for Russia and since the IS problem tends to get completely out of control, they probably decided to give him some space and excuse to focus on the Middle East front and deal with the IS for good.

Of course, the ruthless neocon hawks “are not to be trusted”. They probably hope that by the end of the Obama term the IS problem will be eliminated, while they prepare a more willing puppet for the US presidency to follow their plans (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/06/hillary-for-president-in-middle-of-cold.html). Then, they will turn against Russia, China, Iran and anyone is considered an obstacle to their plans.

In the worst scenario for them, they'll have to wait until Putin's departure from the Russian leadership. Putin probably knows this and makes fast moves, trying to create a situation that would be very difficult to change in future: “What we see now, is a cruel battle with time. On the one hand, Russia and China, together with the rest of the BRICS, are trying to get rid of the dollar and form their own currency system to gain complete independence, on the other, the neocon banking-corporate puppets in the US are in panic and seek desperately a pretext to come to war with Russia and put an end to this threat for their plans. This explains their agony to drag Russia into a warm conflict.” (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/08/the-dominant-elite-ready-to-break.html)

  1. Except the big banks control double what they did in 2008, despite "reform," and are taking even riskier bets on derivatives, knowing Obama protects them against any prosecution, and the government will bail them out if they fail. But if they fail too big even the government can't bail them out. I think the hunger for war will grow dim as Real hunger takes its place.

Zionists pushed Trump into the war with Iran but this was not the primary reason for this catastrophic decision

by system failure     It is widely reported by various analysts that Trump's catastrophic decision to start a war with Iran, came as a result of the pressure from Netanyahu regime and the Zionist lobby in US. While we can't ignore the strong influence of the Zionist factor on Trump and its significant role on dragging him into such a catastrophe, this was probably not the primary reason for the latest US-Iran war.  One has to look first at Venezuela and the unprecedented and rather bizarre operation there to remove Nicolas Maduro from power, in order to understand the deeper reasoning behind such a risky decision by Trump against Iran. The uniqueness of the operation in Venezuela by the US imperialist beast, has to do not only with the blatant violation of international law with almost zero pretexts, but also with the fact that the rest of the Maduro administration was left untouched and permitted to remain in power. This shows that the primary goal of this operation was ...

Trump CAVES On Uranium & Ballistic Missiles!

The Jimmy Dore Show   Jimmy Dore and Glenn Greenwald argue that President Trump is engaging in a stark retreat from earlier hardline positions on Iran by signaling acceptance of both Iranian uranium enrichment for civilian energy purposes and allowing Iran to possess conventional ballistic missiles. The two contend that these comments amount to major concessions, with Jimmy describing them as “another big win for Iran” and evidence that the administration has abandoned key objectives it previously promoted. Greenwald cites the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, arguing that Iran has the same right as other signatory nations to enrich uranium for peaceful purposes and notes that previous agreements imposed unusually strict inspections on Iran’s program. The segment emphasizes Trump’s remarks that “it’s a little bit unfair for them not to have some” ballistic missiles and that restrictions on civilian nuclear energy require “a little common sense.”

How Western societies lost their faith in Vision

Why people don't rise up massively today? Why there are no real revolutions? How we tolerate all things that have been imposed to us? These questions come up in people's minds more and more often today in Greece and abroad, due to the economic crisis. Some theories are circulated as an answer, among these, explanations which include, for example, the psychosynthesis of modern Greeks, but the truth is that there is something more fundamental behind this passive behaviour and concerns not only Greece, but the entire Western world. by system failure Prior to the beginning of the 20th century, Friedrich Nietzsche declares God's death and Western world will put all its hopes in science. Laplace's Determinism leads to the almighty man, who through science, can find all the answers for the world. Technology, which naturally comes from scientific discoveries, promises prosperity and a better life for the majority. Science becomes the central "pylon...
