Nous, organisations de la Société Civile, syndicats, agriculteurs et activistes populaires des 2 côtés de l’Atlantique, nous nous opposons au TTIP, au CETA, au TiSA et au TPP. Ces sinistres traités menacent notre démocratie, nos services publics, nos normes sociales et environnementales, et mettent en péril l’agriculture de qualité à petite échelle, les standards alimentaires et pharmaceutiques, l’indispensable transition énergétique, ainsi que notre droit et notre possibilité d’améliorer la société. Les bénéficiaires de ces traités sont les grandes entreprises, qui les ont conçus et ont fait du lobbying en leur faveur, et non les citoyens.

En Europe, le mouvement contre le TTIP et le CETA s’est amplifié massivement ces deux dernières années. Le 6 octobre, l’Initiative Citoyenne Européenne contre le TTIP et le CETA va arriver à son terme d’une année d’existence avec environ 2,6 millions de signatures. Pour fêter ce succès et renforcer nos demandes, nous descendrons dans la rue le 10 octobre. En même temps, des milliers de personnes marcheront à travers l’Europe et convergeront à Bruxelles pour bloquer le 15 octobre le Sommet Européen et dire non à l’austérité, à la pauvreté et au TTIP.

En Amérique du Nord, en Amérique latine et dans les pays du Pacifique, les citoyens s’organisent pour repousser le traité sur le commerce transpacifique (TPP), qui devrait être adopté à la fin de cette année ou début 2016. Les citoyens américains ont été ignorés : Barack Obama a récemment recu le pouvoir d’accélérer ces négociations secrètes à travers le Congrès des Etats-Unis. Cependant, tous les peuples des pays concernés par le traité transpacifique se réunissent comme jamais auparavant pour protester ensemble contre la mondialisation des affaires, et construire des relations politiques, économiques et sociales basées sur la justice et non sur la cupidité.

Depuis plusieurs décennies, les deux côtés de l’Atlantique ont vu s’effectuer un transfert de pouvoir du secteur public vers le secteur privé, ainsi qu’une forte pression en faveur d’une libéralisation économique et financière, d’une pauvreté et d’inégalités croissantes, et de destructions environnementales. TTIP, CETA, TiSA et TPP sont des tentatives pour rendre ces erreurs irréversibles. Notre lutte contre ces négociations tenues secrètes s’inscrit dans un mouvement social contre l’austérité et pour la justice sociale et climatique.

Nous nous battons pour l’égalité, les droits sociaux, les droits du travail, la justice environnementale et une démocratie réelle.

Υπάρχουν ουκ ολίγα παραδείγματα που δείχνουν ότι οι δημοσκοπήσεις στην ουσία χρησιμοποιούνται για να δημιουργήσουν το επιθυμητό κλίμα για το καθεστώς Μητσοτάκη, παρά για να μετρήσουν απλώς τις δυνάμεις των κομμάτων σε κάθε χρονική στιγμή. Θα θέλαμε όμως να σταθούμε σε ένα συγκεκριμένο ερώτημα που οι εταιρίες συμπεριλαμβάνουν στις ¨μετρήσεις¨ τους όλο και πιο συχνά και ειδικά μετά την εμφάνιση των κομμάτων Τσίπρα και Καρυστιανού στην πολιτική αρένα. “Russia & China Preparing For War With The US!”

The Jimmy Dore Show Colonel Douglas Macgregor explains that as a result of recent military conflicts, Russia, China, and Iran have become allies, and that Beijing and Moscow have concluded that "if we let Iran fail, we're next on the menu" from what he describes as a "rogue state led by a rogue personality," meaning they will intervene to prevent Iran's collapse if the US threatens it. A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
