Η δραχμή, ο Βαρουφάκης και το Matrix των ηλιθίων

Ένα από τα καλύτερα άρθρα του Άρη Χατζηστεφάνου

Τουλάχιστον τρεις μήνες κυκλοφορεί στα βιβλιοπωλεία το βιβλίο του Γιάνη Βαρουφάκη Adults in the Room. Για τρεις μήνες οι τρεις μεγαλύτερες εφημερίδες της χώρας δεν ασχολήθηκαν μαζί του. Μάλλον γιατί ήταν γραμμένο στα ξενικά. Σε μια μυστηριώδη και ακατανόητη γλώσσα που χρησιμοποιούν άνθρωποι έξω από τα σύνορα και ονομάζεται… αγγλικά.


Μόλις όμως πήραν στα χέρια τους τμήματα της ελληνικής μετάφρασης, προφανώς από τον εκδοτικό οίκο, παρουσίασαν κατ’ αποκλειστικότητα (και οι τρεις ταυτόχρονα) τις αποκαλύψεις που θα αλλάξουν για πάντα την ιστορία του πλανήτη.

Προφανώς δεν χρειάζεται να διαβάσετε περισσότερα. Το σενάριο το ξέρετε και είναι γραμμένο τόσο ερασιτεχνικά που μπορεί να το αποστηθίσει και ένας ασθενής στα τελευταία στάδια υδροκεφαλισμού.

Το λόμπι του ευρώ κατηγορεί τους πιο φανατικούς οπαδούς της παραμονής στην ευρωζώνη (Βαρουφάκης – Τσίπρας) ότι είχαν Plan B για την έξοδο από το ευρώ (που αποδεδειγμένα δεν είχαν) και απαιτεί να οδηγηθούν σε ειδικό δικαστήριο όχι γιατί δεν είχαν προετοιμαστεί να αντιμετωπίσουν την κρίση αλλά γιατί είχαν εναλλακτικές προτάσεις (που δεν είχαν).

Παρεμπιπτόντως, αν προκύπτει κάτι από το βιβλίο, είναι η συνενοχή του Βαρουφάκη στη συνέχιση της αποπληρωμής ενός παράνομου και απεχθούς χρέους, κατά παράβαση του διεθνούς δικαίου που ορίζει ότι προτεραιότητα μιας κυβέρνησης είναι η προστασία του πληθυσμού και όχι ξένων ή εγχώριων πιστωτών.

Αν προσθέσεις στις κλασσικές κατηγορίες του λόμπι του ευρώ ότι ο Λαφαζάνης συνωμοτούσε με τις «δυνάμεις του σκότους» για να περάσει η κεντρική τράπεζα στον έλεγχο της δημοκρατικά εκλεγμένης κυβέρνησης (αυτό δηλαδή που συνέβαινε ιστορικά στις πιο σοβαρές καπιταλιστικές οικονομίες του κόσμου) έχεις έτοιμο το σενάριο. Ένα σενάριο τόσο κακογραμμένο όσο το «Ρετιρέ» του Δαλιανίδη, το οποίο τα «μεγάλα κανάλια» προβάλλουν ad nauseam κάθε καλοκαίρι με την ελπίδα ότι ακόμη και αν οι γέροι που το παρακολουθούσαν πεθάνουν, το κοινό θα ανανεώνεται για πάντα.

Και καλά, αυτοί κάνουν τη δουλειά τους για να εξασφαλίσουν τη συνέχιση της χρηματοδότησης τους από τις Τράπεζες (στην περίπτωση των ΜΜΕ) και τα ψίχουλα που τους πετά η ΕΕ (στην περίπτωση της παρασιτικής αστικής τάξης και των φιλελέ που αναζητούν ΕΣΠΑ στα σκουπίδια μιας διαλυμένης και αποβιομηχανοποιημένης οικονομίας).

Γιατί όμως πιστεύουν ότι η κοινωνία παρακολουθεί ακόμη το σήριαλ τους; Η προφανής απάντηση είναι ότι η αντιπολίτευση, βλέποντας ότι η κυβέρνηση ολοκληρώνει πολύ πιο αποτελεσματικά την παράδοση της χώρας και την μετατροπή της σε τριτοκοσμικό προτεκτοράτο, χρειάζεται από κάπου να πιαστεί. Και πιάνεται από το ψέμα που η ίδια δημιούργησε το 2015.

Άλλοι, ζουν απλώς σε ένα κακοφτιαγμένο Matrix ή αν προτιμάτε ένα echo chamber – ένα δωμάτιο όπου ακούν μόνο την ηχώ της φωνής τους και νομίζουν ότι συνομιλούν με άλλους ανθρώπους.

Οι πολιτικοί αρχηγοί ακούν τους υποτακτικούς τους, που τους λένε ότι έχουν πάντα δίκιο και όλοι μαζί μπαίνουν σε ένα κοινοβούλιο όπου ΟΛΑ τα κόμματα είναι εναντίον της εξόδου από το ευρώ.

Μέσα σε αυτό το Matrix όλοι παίζουν τους προκαθορισμένους τους ρόλους. Ο Τσίπρας και ο Βαρουφάκης προσπαθούν να σώσουν την ευρωζώνη – και τις τράπεζες που αυτή εκπροσωπεί – και οι υπόλοιποι τους κατηγορούν ότι προσπαθούν να την διαλύσουν.

Η αξία χρήσης του ενός εξαρτάται από την ύπαρξη του άλλου και οι δυο τους – μαζί με μια πλειάδα κομπάρσων της αντιπολίτευσης – πρωταγωνιστούν στην επιτυχημένη παράσταση που παρουσιάζει για έβδομη συνεχή χρονιά η ΕΕ ύστερα από απαίτηση χιλιάδων ψηφοφόρων.
