Σκάνδαλο Novartis: «Τορπιλισμός» Προανακριτικής με «σωσίβιο» την παραγραφή

«Εκλεισαν με θόρυβο την πόρτα της Προανακριτικής για να ανοίξουν το παράθυρο της παραγραφής»: Αυτό το σχόλιο κοινοβουλευτικού στελέχους, που τυγχάνει και έμπειρος νομικός, μάλλον αποτυπώνει τα πολιτικά κίνητρα και τις απώτερες επιδιώξεις πίσω από τον τορπιλισμό της Προανακριτικής Επιτροπής για την Novartis στον οποίο προχώρησαν συντεταγμένα χθες Νέα Δημοκρατία και Δημοκρατική Συμπαράταξη.

Οι βουλευτές των δύο κομμάτων, όπως και εκείνοι της Ενωσης Κεντρώων, αποχώρησαν από την Προανακριτική Επιτροπή καταγγέλλοντας την κυβέρνηση ότι δεν επιθυμεί την ουσιαστική διερεύνηση της υπόθεσης. Αυτή η ουσιαστική διερεύνηση, όπως τουλάχιστον την προσδιορίζουν ΝΔ και ΔΗΣΥ, θα έπρεπε να περιλαμβάνει την αναλυτική εξέταση όλων των στοιχείων της δικογραφίας, καθώς και των προστατευόμενων μαρτύρων.

Η κυβέρνηση, ωστόσο, χαρακτηρίζει προσχηματικό το εν λόγω αίτημα και απαντά πως ο πραγματικός στόχος των κομμάτων της αντιπολίτευσης είναι να παραμείνει η υπόθεση στην Βουλή προκειμένου να οχυρωθούν πίσω από τον νόμο περί ευθύνης υπουργών.
