Η επιστολή των Βρυξελλών για τον ιταλικό προϋπολογισμό έφτασε απόψε στη Ρώμη δια χειρός Μοσκοβισί και ο πρωθυπουργός Τζουζέπε Κόντε ανακοίνωσε ότι συγκαλεί υπουργικό συμβούλιο το Σάββατο για να συζητηθεί το τι μέλλει γενέσθαι.

Η επιστολή της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής προς την ιταλική κυβέρνηση, με τις παρατηρήσεις της επί του ιταλικού προϋπολογισμού, κάνει λόγο για μια «άνευ προηγουμένου στην ιστορία του Συμφώνου Σταθερότητας και Ανάπτυξης απόκλιση, η οποία αγγίζει το 1,5% σε ότι αφορά τους συμφωνημένους δημοσιονομικούς στόχους».

Σε κοινή συνέντευξη τύπου, στο ιταλικό υπουργείο οικονομικών, ο Μοσκοβισί τόνισε ότι «η Επιτροπή δεν αναφέρεται στο περιεχόμενο των μέτρων του προϋπολογισμού, αλλά αυτό που την ενδιαφέρει είναι με ποιό τρόπο τα μέτρα αυτά θα χρηματοδοτηθούν». Παράλληλα, υπογράμμισε ότι «υπάρχουν συγκεκριμένα βήματα που θα πρέπει να γίνουν, βάσει των οποίων ο διάλογος με την Ρώμη θα συνεχιστεί». Ο Πιέρ Μοσκοβισί θέλησε να καταστήσει σαφές ότι «η Κομισιόν είναι ένας ουδέτερος κριτής» και ότι «και ο ίδιος βάζει κατά μέρος τις προσωπικές του, πολιτικές εκτιμήσεις». Ζήτησε επίσης από την Ιταλία να απαντήσει στην επιστολή της μέχρι τις 22 Οκτωβρίου.

Οι τύποι είναι πραγματικά απίστευτοι. Τα πράγματα πάνε από το κακό στο χειρότερο. Το μεταναστευτικό είναι εκτός ελέγχου και προσπαθούν να το κρύψουν κάτω από το χαλί με άθλιες μεθοδεύσεις, θυσιάζοντας ανθρώπινες ψυχές. Αυτοί οι δήθεν δημοκράτες και υπερασπιστές των Ευρωπαϊκών 'αξιών'.

Η Ελλάδα, αφού λεηλατήθηκε, έχει αφεθεί στη μοίρα της, εκτός αγορών και με χρέος κοντά στο 180% του ΑΕΠ. Οι διαπραγματεύσεις για το Brexit βρίσκονται σε απόλυτο αδιέξοδο και κανείς δεν ξέρει που θα καταλήξει το πράγμα, αν οι Βρετανοί δεν υποχωρήσουν στις απαιτήσεις του άξονα Βρυξελλών-Βερολίνου. Και σαν να μην έφταναν όλα αυτά, η ακροδεξιά σαρώνει σε όλη την Ευρώπη.

Κι όμως. Μέσα σ'αυτό το χάος που δημιουργεί όλο και πιο γρήγορα φυγόκεντρες δυνάμεις, τα 'Βρυξελιώτικα ρομποτάκια', το μόνο που ξέρουν, είναι να ψελλίζουν μονότονα ότι υπάρχει 'απόκλιση από τους συμφωνημένους δημοσιονομικούς στόχους.'

Οι τύποι δεν μπορεί να βρίσκονται σε τέτοια αφασία. Δεν μπορεί να είναι τόσο ηλίθιοι. Εκτός και αν το κάνουν επίτηδες γιατί θέλουν πράγματι να διαλυθεί το 'Ευρωπαϊκό οικοδόμημα', σύμφωνα με ορισμένες θεωρίες συνωμοσίας.
