Γαλλικές εκλογές: Πολιτικά αποφάγια στα σκουπίδια της Ιστορίας

Σε μια από τις θρυλικότερες σκηνές της ταινίας «SOS Πεντάγωνο καλεί Μόσχα», ο Dr Strangelove, ο ναζιστής επιστήμονας που τώρα προσφέρει τις υπηρεσίες του στον «ελεύθερο κόσμο», προσπαθεί να συγκρατήσει το μηχανικό του χέρι από το να χαιρετά ναζιστικά. Θα μπορούσαμε κάλλιστα να φανταστούμε τα μέλη του Εθνικού Μετώπου της Λε Πεν να δίνουν καθημερινή μάχη με το δεξί τους χέρι σε κάθε συνέλευση του κόμματος.

Αυτό που προσπαθούν να κρύψουν δεν είναι πλέον οι θέσεις τους για τους μετανάστες, ούτε η πρόθεσή τους να επιβάλουν την τάξη και την ασφάλεια με μέτρα ολοκληρωτικού χαρακτήρα. Άλλωστε σε μια χώρα που βρίσκεται σε διαρκή κατάσταση έκτακτης ανάγκης στο εσωτερικό και ετοιμάζεται να κλιμακώσει τις πολεμικές της επιχειρήσεις στη Μέση Ανατολή και τη βόρεια Αφρική είναι δύσκολο να το παίζεις πιο σκληρός και ολοκληρωτικός από το ακραίο κέντρο του «σοσιαλιστή» Φρανσουά Ολάντ.

Αυτό που πραγματικά παλεύει να κρύψει το Εθνικό Μέτωπο είναι το βαθύ μίσος του για τα δικαιώματα των εργαζομένων και το κράτος πρόνοιας, αλλά και τη λατρεία του για τον σύνδεσμο των γάλλων βιομηχάνων και κάθε εργοδοτική ένωση.

Η ίδια η Μαρίν Λε Πεν έπρεπε να ρίξει πρώτη τον λίθο του αναθέματος σε όσα της έμαθε να αγαπά ο πατέρας της. Θα τον θυμάται σίγουρα τη δεκαετία του ’80 να δηλώνει υπερήφανα ότι αποτελεί τον «γάλλο Ρόναλντ Ρίγκαν» και να συγκρίνει την κοινωνική πολιτική των γάλλων σοσιαλιστών με την «ισπανική ιερά εξέταση».
