Θυμάστε τους εκσυγχρονιστές; Ποιους απ όλους θα μου πείτε. Τον Σημίτη, τον Πρωτόπαπα, τη Διαμαντοπούλου, το Στουρνάρα; Μήπως τον Παπαντωνίου, τον Μαντέλλη, τον Τσουκάτο;

Αυτούς λοιπόν. Τους μετεμψυχωτές του θαύματος του νεοέλληνα, που έφτιαξαν χρηματιστήρια, δρόμους και γιοφύρια, εξοπλιστικά προγράμματα, μας εκσυγχρόνισαν με SIEMENS, μας ανέπτυξαν με τηλεοπτικά σήριαλ και οικονομικές εκπομπές που παρουσίαζαν το μπόι του Σημίτη σαν του Δράκου των Ασιατικών αγορών. Που έφτιαξαν Κωστόπουλους στους οποίους έδινε συνεντεύξεις ο Κώστας Σημίτης δίπλα στις αναλύσεις του γελωτοποιού Θέμου Αναστασιάδη, που δημιούργησαν νέα τζάκια που κάπνιζαν μπόχα μέσα στα μούτρα της κοινωνίας, που με τις ευλογίες τους άρπαξαν, έκλεψαν, ξανάκλεψαν αλλά κυρίως είχαν το θράσος να λένε πως όποιος έχει στοιχεία να πάει στον εισαγγελέα.

Αυτοί λοιπόν, που λίγο αργότερα, σήκωσαν το δάχτυλο λέγοντας πως καλά πάθαμε γιατί ζούσαμε με δανεικά και πάνω από τις δυνατότητές μας. Πως πρέπει να μπούμε σε επιτροπεία, να αφήσουμε τη χώρα κάτω από το στιβαρό και γιατί όχι τιμωρητικό χέρι του Σόιμπλε ο οποίος θα μας οδηγήσει στο μέλλον. Πως χρειαζόμαστε φτώχεια, μικρούς μισθούς και πενιχρές συντάξεις γιατί αυτό μας αξίζει.

Οι εκσυγχρονιστές λοιπόν, ζουν ανάμεσά μας. Δεν ζουν μόνο, μιλάνε κιόλας, ζητάνε τα ρέστα, νουθετούν και δείχνουν με το δάχτυλο (αχ αυτό το δάχτυλο) τους φταίχτες που επί δύο ολόκληρα χρόνια κατέχουν την εξουσία, άρα ευθύνονται για την καταστροφή.

Ο εθνικός μανατζαράκος δίνει συνεντεύξεις για να πει πόσο καλά τα έκανε όλα και δεν νοιώθει λίγη ντροπή ο δημοσιογράφος που τον ακούει ώστε να ρωτήσει «ποιο απ όλα; Το Γιάννο, το Χρηματιστήριο, την ανάπτυξη που τελικώς ήταν δανεικά; Το ευρώ που ήταν ένα πουκάμισο αδειανό ή την ΟΝΕ που ήταν παλτό ολόκληρο; Ποιο; Το πείραγμα του χρέους, τους ψεύτικους δείκτες της ανάπτυξης, τους ακόμη πιο ψεύτικους της τιμιότητας και του εκσυγχρονισμού;».

Τσιμουδιά οι δημοσιογράφοι. Κορδωμένος ο μανατζαράκος της διαπλοκής και της καταστροφής, των εργολάβων και των εμπόρων όπλων, έβλεπε τη σκιά του από τους προβολείς στο φιλικό στούντιο και νόμιζε πως είναι το μπόι του. Ο πρωθυπουργός που έβλεπε τις μίζες να περνούν, ξανάγινε μέντορας και εκσυγχρονιστής για όσο (τηλεοπτικό) χρόνο ήταν προστατευμένος. Ζήτησε μέχρι και εκλογές και αναθάρρεψε η σημιτική χλωρίδα που αναπτύχθηκε στο κοπριζόμενο έδαφος της διαφθοράς.

Κορδώθηκε ο Στουρνάρας, θυμήθηκε παλιές καλές εποχές με δραχμή αλλά καλό μεροκάματο ο Θεοδωράκης, συμφώνησε με τον εαυτό του και ο Κυριάκος πως έχει μέλλον αφού είχε μέχρι και ο λογιστής του αέρα του κοπανιστού.

Ο Κώστας Σημίτης δεν κινείται από φιλαυτία ή υστεροφημία. Λειτουργεί με μικρότητα. Θέλει μια Ελλάδα στα μέτρα του για να μπορεί να είναι μανατζαράκος. Αυτός και η παρέα του.
