Corporate media begin typical operations to make progressives comply with the establishment

The operations will multiply and become more aggressive towards 2020

Corporate media of the ultra-conservative side made already a ridiculous attempt to present Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as totally unreliable. In the video, TYT hosts analyze very well the specific strategy followed by Conservative Review TV.

The strategy is quite simple: you create a fake video, you upload it on social media and after being watched by thousands you admit that it was created for satire purposes. Yet, the propaganda will be definitely effective because only a small portion will notice that this was satire. Most of the viewers (especially from the conservative audience that has been heavily brainwashed for decades to love corporate America and believe whatever comes from the Fox apparatus) will believe whatever transmitted from the ultra-conservative propaganda machine.

But the corporate media of the liberal side have a very big problem right now. It is almost impossible to start an open war with the progressives running under the Democratic umbrella, simply because they will probably hurt corporate Democrats even more, as the voters (and especially the young ones) overwhelmingly support the progressive candidates and the related agenda.

So, how will they respond to the progressive counterattack? The following video gives us an idea:

Notice that the only time that the host of Face The Nation is exercising real pressure, especially on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, is when she essentially demands from her to declare loyalty to Nancy Pelosi. Pay attention to the face of the host when she abruptly interrupts and asks Cortez "you don't see her [Pelosi] as the party leader?" Her expression of a strict operator who demands discipline from all party members tells you all you need to know. And 'discipline' in this case is translated of course to the obedience to current status quo of the corporate Democrats, depicted in Pelosi's leadership.

The host persists and finally marks a small victory because eventually forces Cortez to state that she may support Pelosi.

Corporate media hosts and pundits are using this method quite frequently. They are pushing aggressively the guests to comply with the desired declaration through 'yes or no'-type questions, taking advantage of the limited time given for these interviews. Especially a non-experienced guest will fall into the trap easier. In this case, the counter-strategy against the aggressive corporate media tools is simple: stick to the agenda, don't retreat at all. Cortez should respond straight and clear that she will not recognize Pelosi's leadership because NY voters elected her on the Bernie Sanders agenda. Therefore, she should say clearly that she would recognize only someone like Bernie Sanders in the Democratic leadership. Period.

And, of course, the other big disappointment is that Bernie declared one more time his loyalty to that 'Russiagate' narrative.

This is what we are going to see from now and until the presidential election in 2020.

Corporate media of the ultra-conservative side will be using more and more the typical anti-Socialism narratives in an open war against progressives. That's because they know that even Trump supporters could be attracted by the progressive agenda because they would realize that it really serves the interests of the working class. Yet, their biggest fear is that progressives may mobilize voters that were not participating in the political process so-far, which means that the Republicans will lose big in 2020 by a relocated-to-the-Left Democratic party.

Corporate media of the liberal side will focus mainly on pushing progressives to be 'swallowed' by the current DNC establishment in order to destroy the political revolution of Bernie Sanders. Yet, it is expected also to continue the McCarthyism 2.0 operation more intensively for the purpose of smearing every progressive who will not align with the 'business as usual' line of the corporate Democrats.

In the road for the crucial 2020, these operations will become more frequent and more aggressive.

Capitalism & Genocide - Yanis Varoufakis Speech at the Gaza Tribunal, 23rd October 2025, Istanbul

Yanis Varoufakis   On 23rd October, Yanis Varoufakis testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. His speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. In particular, he spoke on the manner in which capitalist dynamics have historically fuelled the white settler colonial project and, more recently, how the accumulation of a new form of capital - which he calls cloud capital - has accelerated, deepened and amplified the economic forces powering and propelling the machinery of genocide.

Munich Shock: Rubio’s Vision of a New Western Century & World Order

GVS Deep Dive   At the 2026 Munich Security Conference, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered one of the most consequential foreign policy speeches of the year. Framed as a call for Western renewal, his address went far beyond NATO reassurance — outlining a vision of sovereignty, industrial consolidation, and civilizational confidence that may signal the end of the post-Cold War global order.   Is this the beginning of a Second Cold War?   Is the West reorganizing around bloc competition?   Or are we witnessing the construction of a new world order?

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Stephen Hawking confirms: The problem is Capitalism, not robots!

globinfo freexchange According to world famous physicist Stephen Hawking, the rising use of automated machines may mean the end of human rights – not just jobs. But he’s not talking about robots with artificial intelligence taking over the world, he’s talking about the current capitalist political system and its major players. On Reddit, Hawking said that the economic gap between the rich and the poor will continue to grow as more jobs are automated by machines, and the owners of said machines hoard them to create more wealth for themselves. The insatiable thirst for capitalist accumulation bestowed upon humans by years of lies and terrible economic policy has affected technology in such a way that one of its major goals has become to replace human jobs. If we do not take this warning seriously, we may face unfathomable corporate domination. If we let the same people who buy and sell our political system and resources maintain control of automated technology, the...
