Γιούνγκερ-Φερχόφσταντ: Τα λόμπι και οι ομάδες συμφερόντων στην ΕΕ είναι αναπόφευκτα!

Ένα καλό παράδειγμα νεοφιλελεύθερου “ορθολογισμού”

Ίσως αυτό να ήταν τελικά το βασικό συμπέρασμα του ντιμπέιτ για την προεδρία της ΕΕ και βγήκε προς το τέλος με την ερώτηση της συντονίστριας Μόνικα Ματζιόνι. Η απάντηση της επικεφαλής των πρασίνων, Σκα Κέλλερ, η οποία φαίνεται ότι έχει μια ιδιαίτερη ευαισθησία στο θέμα αυτό, ήταν εξίσου αποκαλυπτική.

Η Κέλλερ είπε ξεκάθαρα ότι τα λόμπι στην ΕΕ είναι τόσο βαθιά εμπλεκόμενα στις διάφορες αποφάσεις, που καμιά φορά οι εκπρόσωποί τους ξεχνούν να βγάλουν τις ετικέτες με τα ονόματα των εταιριών τους πάνω στους φακέλους που δίνουν και παίρνουν στους διαδρόμους των Βρυξελλών! Είπε επίσης ότι τα λόμπι ξοδεύουν εκατομμύρια προκειμένου να επηρεάσουν τις αποφάσεις των θεσμικών οργάνων και των επιτρόπων. Νομίζουμε ότι δεν χρειάζεται τίποτα παραπάνω για να περιγράψει κανείς την εικόνα της Ευρώπης, τι πραγματικά πρεσβεύει αυτή η Ευρώπη σήμερα.

Κατά τα άλλα, το ντιμπέιτ ήταν αυτό που λίγο-πολύ θα περίμενε κανείς. Ακόμα και η τοποθέτηση των υποψηφίων ήταν τέτοια που υποδήλωνε ότι οι διοργανωτές ήξεραν από την αρχή ποιες περίπου θα είναι οι απαντήσεις των υποψηφίων και που περίπου θα κινηθούν.

Ξεκινώντας από τα αριστερά του πάνελ, ο Αλέξης Τσίπρας, που εκπροσώπησε την Ευρωπαϊκή Αριστερά, ήταν και ο πιο επικριτικός απέναντι στις καταστροφικές πολιτικές της Ευρωπαϊκής νεοφιλελεύθερης οικονομικής αυτοκρατορίας. Έκανε ευθείς ερωτήσεις προς τον Γιούγκερ σχετικά με τις πολιτικές λιτότητας, με τις πρόσφατες αποκαλύψεις για το παρασκήνιο σχετικά με την Ελληνική κρίση, για την αντικατάσταση των πρωθυπουργών σε Ελλάδα και Ιταλία με Παπαδήμο-Μόντι, αλλά και για τον βρώμικο ρόλο των τραπεζών και τις τεράστιες ευθύνες τους.

Φυσικά δεν πήρε καμία ουσιαστική απάντηση, αλλά φαίνεται ότι κέρδισε τις εντυπώσεις με την ευθύτητά του. Πολύ σωστά κατέκρινε το νέο σχέδιο για τις τράπεζες, το περίφημο bail-in, το οποίο υπερασπίστηκε με θέρμη ο Φερχόφσταντ, αφού οι πρώτοι που θα πληρώνουν τα σπασμένα των τραπεζικών κρίσεων θα είναι οι ίδιοι οι καταθέτες: http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2013/07/banksters-ecofin.html

Δίπλα από τον Τσίπρα, η Σκα Κέλλερ τάχθηκε κατά της εμπορικής διατλαντικής συμφωνίας Ευρώπης-ΗΠΑ (σε πλήρη αντίθεση με τον Φερχόφσταντ που την υπερασπίστηκε με πάθος). Είπε ότι πρέπει να δώσουμε τέλος στην κερδοσκοπία των τραπεζών. Φάνηκε να τάσσεται κατά του Πούτιν και της προσάρτησης της Κριμαίας και είπε πως πρέπει να σταματήσει η εξαγωγή όπλων στη Ρωσία και πως η Ευρώπη πρέπει να απεξαρτηθεί ενεργειακά από την Ρωσία. Ασφαλώς η πιο εύστοχη παρατήρησή της ήταν αυτή σχετικά με τα λόμπι στους διαδρόμους των Βρυξελλών.

Στη μέση του πάνελ, ο επικεφαλής των Σοσιαλιστών και πρόεδρος του ευρω-κοινοβουλίου, Μάρτιν Σουλτς μίλησε με γενικότητες, χρησιμοποιώντας μια ρητορική ίσων αποστάσεων, όπως για παράδειγμα ότι χρειάζεται μια μείξη δημοσιονομικής εξυγίανσης και ανάπτυξη – πάταξη της φοροδιαφυγής, κάτι που το συνηθίζουν οι Σοσιαλιστές γενικά, αλλά από την πίσω πόρτα, λόγω της μακράς παρουσίας τους στην εξουσία, υπηρετούν πλήρως τα συμφέροντα των διαφόρων λόμπι και ψηφίζουν νόμους υπέρ συγκεκριμένων συμφερόντων και κατά της πλειοψηφίας των πολιτών, πολύ περισσότερο σε περιόδους κρίσεων.

Δεξιά του Μάρτιν Σουλτς, ο Ζαν Κλοντ Γιούνγκερ, του Ευρωπαϊκού λαϊκού κόμματος, ένθερμος υποστηρικτής της νεοφιλελεύθερης ατζέντας, που υπερασπίστηκε με πάθος την δημοσιονομική πειθαρχία, σε κατάσταση μόνιμης άρνησης για τις καταστροφικές πολιτικές σε Ελλάδα και Ευρωπαϊκό νότο. Τόνισε ευθαρσώς ότι παρόλο που πρέπει να παταχθεί η διαφθορά στα κράτη-μέλη, αλλά και σε Ευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο, δεν μπορεί κανείς να απαγορεύσει συγκεκριμένες ομάδες συμφερόντων να δρουν με βάση τα συμφέροντά τους! Κάποιος έπρεπε να πει στον Γιούνγκερ ότι αυτά τα πράγματα είναι αλληλένδετα, πάνε μαζί, δεν μπορείς να μην έχεις διαφθορά όταν έχεις να κάνεις με συγκεκριμένα συμφέροντα (κυρίως τραπεζικά), που επιβάλλονται στα Ευρωπαϊκά όργανα.

Υποστήριξε επίσης ότι η Ευρώπη δεν επενδύει αρκετά επειδή οι προϋπολογισμοί των χωρών δεν το επιτρέπουν, λόγω της δημιουργίας μεγάλων χρεών και ελλειμμάτων. Κάποιος έπρεπε επίσης να του πει, ότι το χρέος και το έλλειμμα της Ελλάδας είναι σε χειρότερη κατάσταση απ'ότι το 2010, όταν η Ελλάδα αποκλείστηκε από τις αγορές και αυτό οφείλεται στις πολιτικές αλλά και στην διάσωση των τραπεζών με δισεκατομμύρια, που ο ίδιος στήριξε, με βάση και τα πρόσφατα στοιχεία της ΕΛΣΤΑΤ: http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2014/04/2013.html

Τέλος, τέρμα δεξιά στο πάνελ και δίπλα στον Γιούνγκερ, ο Γκι Φερχόφσταντ, της Συμμαχίας Φιλελευθέρων και Δημοκρατών για την Ευρώπη, παρουσιάστηκε ως ο πιο γνήσιος εκπρόσωπος της νεοφιλελεύθερης Δεξιάς, καθώς υπερασπίστηκε με πάθος την Ευρωπαϊκή ολοκλήρωση και την ενιαία αγορά με όρους καθαρά οικονομικούς και προς όφελος των μεγάλων εταιριών. Στην ουσία υπερασπίστηκε τα ολιγοπώλια και την εμπορική συμφωνία Ευρώπης-ΗΠΑ και τόνισε και αυτός ότι δεν μπορεί να αποφύγει κανείς τους λομπίστες!

Επέμενε και αυτός στην δημοσιονομική πειθαρχία και είπε πως τα κόμματα στην Ελλάδα στηρίζονταν από τις τράπεζες επειδή ανήκαν στο δημόσιο. Φαίνεται ότι δεν γνωρίζει καλά την Ελληνική πραγματικότητα αφού ακόμα και η Τράπεζα της Ελλάδας δεν ανήκει στο Δημόσιο. Εκτός και αν έκανε αυτή την χονδροειδή επισήμανση για να κρύψει το γεγονός ότι οι ιδιωτικές τράπεζες και οι εγχώριοι μεγαλοεπιχειρηματίες ήταν διαπλεκόμενοι με την Ελληνική πολιτική τάξη όλες αυτές τις δεκαετίες, ώστε να τα φορτώσει όλα στο “κακό” Δημόσιο που φταίει για όλα τα δεινά της χώρας, όπως ακριβώς επιτάσσει η νεοφιλελεύθερη προπαγάνδα από την αρχή της κρίσης.

Τάχθηκε σαφώς κατά του Πούτιν και διάβασε επιστολή του διάσημου πρώην σκακιστή, Γκάρι Κασπάροφ που αποκαλούσε τον Πούτιν δικτάτορα, αλλά, όπως ήταν φυσικό, δεν είπε τίποτα για την στήριξη των νεο-ναζί στην Ουκρανία από ΕΕ και ΗΠΑ.

Ένα επιπλέον ενδιαφέρον στοιχείο του ντιμπέιτ ήταν ότι οι δύο στα αριστερά του πάνελ, Τσίπρας και Κέλλερ, ήταν και οι νεότεροι ηλικιακά και αυτοί που μίλησαν με πάθος κατά των συμφερόντων, της ασυδοσίας των τραπεζών και μιας Ευρώπης της αλληλεγγύης με επίκεντρο τον άνθρωπο, ενώ, στα δεξιά του πάνελ, οι γηραιότεροι Γιούνκερ και Φερχόφσταντ, φάνηκαν πιο συντηρητικοί και “ορθολογιστές”, υπερασπιζόμενοι “υπογείως” την νεοφιλελεύθερη ατζέντα. Ωστόσο, κανείς από το πάνελ δεν τόλμησε να θίξει ανοιχτά το θέμα της υποστήριξης των νεο-ναζί στην Ουκρανία και να τονίσει την τεράστια υποκρισία της Δύσης που υποτίθεται ότι “ανησυχεί” για την άνοδο του φασισμού.
