Απόφαση-κόλαφος για Μπόμπολα, Σημίτη και Ελληνικός Χρυσός

Να επιστρέψει 15.340.000 ευρώ στο Ελληνικό Δημόσιο, επειδή τα έλαβε ως παράνομη κρατική ενίσχυση, καλείται η Ελληνικός Χρυσός, θυγατρική του καναδικού ομίλου Eldorado Gold που εκμεταλλεύεται τα μεταλλεία Κασσάνδρας, με βάση χθεσινή απόφαση του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαστηρίου.

Η απόφαση αποτελεί κόλαφο όχι μόνο για την εταιρία, αλλά και για την κυβέρνηση Σημίτη, καθώς η υπόθεση συνδέεται με την πώληση των μεταλλείων αντί μόλις 11.000.000 ευρώ από την τότε κυβέρνηση, «χωρίς προηγούμενη εκτίμηση των στοιχείων ενεργητικού και χωρίς ανοιχτό διαγωνισμό» και αφού η Ελληνικός Χρυσός απαλλάχθηκε από την καταβολή οιουδήποτε φόρου!

Υπενθυμίζεται πως τότε η εταιρία ελεγχόταν από την ΑΚΤΩΡ, τον επικεφαλής της τελευταίας Δημήτρη Κούτρα και τον αμφιλεγόμενο Ρουμάνο επιχειρηματία Φρανκ Τίμις. Στη συνέχεια πωλήθηκε στους Καναδούς αντί παχυλότατων υπεραξιών. Αν και έχουν περάσει σχεδόν δεκαπέντε χρόνια από την εξαγορά και έξι χρόνια από την πρώτη, καταδικαστική απόφαση του Ευρωπαϊκού Δικαστηρίου, η Ελληνικός Χρυσός επιμένει να μην πληρώνει. Ομως χθες το δικαστήριο απέρριψε και τη δεύτερη αίτηση αναίρεσης που είχε καταθέσει, ενώ αντίστοιχη αίτηση αναίρεσης είχε καταθέσει και το Ελληνικό Δημόσιο (!), που ζημιώθηκε από τη συναλλαγή.

ICC judges reject Israel's request to withdraw Netanyahu arrest warrant
