Για την Κράϊνα θα μιλήσει κανείς

Ο Ράτκο Μλάντιτς και οι δυο θερινές σφαγές του ’95 που «έγιναν» μία…

Μνήμες μαύρες από τον φρικτό εμφύλιο πόλεμο στην πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβία «ξύπνησαν», με την καταδίκη σε ισόβια του Ράτκο Μλάντιτς. Έγινε πάλι αντικείμενο αναφορών και συζητήσεων η σφαγή 8.000 μουσουλμάνων, στη Σρεμπρένιτσα, τον Ιούλιο του 1995.

Λέμε «πάλι», διότι ειδικά στα καθ’ ημάς, στην Ελλάδα, οι αναφορές στη Σρεμπρένιτσα ήταν ήδη σχετικά πυκνές. Κάτι οι αποκαλύψεις για τη «συνδρομή» μερικών «Χρυσαυγιτών» και Ελλήνων παραστρατιωτικών σε εκείνο το «κατόρθωμα» του σέρβικου εθνικισμού, κάτι το ανατριχιαστικό πανό στη ποδοσφαιρική αναμέτρηση Ελλάδας-Βοσνίας (Νοέμβριος 2016), στο γήπεδο «Γ. Καραϊσκάκης», οι αφορμές δεν λείπουν. Το έγκλημα της Σρεμπρένιτσα όλο και επανέρχεται. Στο νου, σε χείλη, σε πένες, σε πληκτρολόγια.

Διεθνώς αλλά και εδώ, η Σρεμπρένιτσα αναφέρεται ως το χειρότερο έγκλημα πολέμου εναντίον άμαχου πληθυσμού, τουλάχιστον επί ευρωπαϊκού εδάφους, από τότε που έληξε ο Β΄ Παγκόσμιος Πόλεμος. Ακριβές; Όχι. Διότι όσο και αν είναι άχαρο να ενεργοποιεί κάποιος ένα νοητό «φρικτόμετρο» για τα υπολογίσει το μέγεθος εγκλημάτων πολέμου, εάν εισέλθουμε σε διαδικασίες εξεύρεσης του χειρότερου, μοιραία θα σταθούμε σε αντικειμενικά, «ψυχρά» κριτήρια. Κι αυτά αναδεικνύουν ως ακόμη πιο αιματηρό και πολύνεκρο το έγκλημα που διέπραξαν τα κροατικά στρατεύματα, τον Αύγουστο του 1995, εναντίον των Σέρβων, στην Κράινα. Περιοχή της Κροατίας, την οποία όμως κατοικούσαν -σχεδόν αποκλειστικά- Σέρβοι, επί επτά αιώνες.

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εθνοκάθαρσης στην Κράινα, μια επιχείρηση αντάξια των παραδόσεων των Κροατών ναζιστών «ουστάσι» του Β΄ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου, κατακρεουργήθηκαν 14.000 Σέρβοι. Το έγκλημα δεν ήταν στιγμιαίο: ακόμη κι έπειτα από καιρό, θανατώνονταν όσοι Σέρβοι, ηλικιωμένοι κυρίως, είχαν παραμείνει στα σπίτια τους, αδυνατώντας να ακολουθήσουν τους εκατοντάδες χιλιάδες ομοεθνείς τους, που εγκατέλειπαν κακήν κακώς την περιοχή. Πυρπολήσεις σπιτιών και επιθέσεις ακόμη και εναντίον των «κονβόι» αμάχων που αποχωρούσαν έντρομοι, συμπλήρωσαν το έγκλημα.

Τα εγκλήματα στη Σρεμπρένιτσα και στην Κράινα, με διαφορά λίγων εβδομάδων το ένα από το άλλο, είναι αναμφισβήτητα. Σε έναν κόσμο με στοιχειώδη ηθική, πολιτική και νομική «κανονικότητα» (για χρησιμοποιήσουμε την τόσο δημοφιλή, εσχάτως, έκφραση), οι δυο σφαγές θα μνημονεύονταν ως διπλή απόδειξη της βαρβαρότητας, στην οποία μπορούν να φθάσουν οι αχαλίνωτοι εθνικισμοί, ειδικά σε περιόδους βίαιης επαναχάραξης συνόρων.

Κι όμως, η σφαγή στην Κράινα έχει σχεδόν …εξαφανιστεί! Είδατε ή ακούσατε κανέναν «θεσμικό παράγοντα» να αναφέρεται σε αυτήν; Να διερωτάται αν πλήρωσαν ή αν θα πληρώσουν οι υπεύθυνοι; Τίποτα… Οι 14.000 ψυχές που χάθηκαν στην Κράινα χάθηκαν και από τα κιτάπια, όχι της Ιστορίας, αλλά εκείνων οι οποίοι την πετσοκόβουν κατά το δοκούν, κρατώντας ότι βολεύει, «πετώντας» οτιδήποτε δεν εξυπηρετεί, αξιολογώντας γεγονότα με τρόπο που τελικά υποκλίνεται σε ένα και μοναδικό κριτήριο: Πώς θα «δικαιωθούν» οι πολιτικές, γεωπολιτικές και ενίοτε πολεμικές επιλογές των επικυρίαρχων.

Η σφαγή της Κράινα ρίχτηκε στην τεχνητή λήθη, διότι κάθε σχετική υπόμνηση ουδόλως εξυπηρετεί την υποκριτική, την παιδαριώδη στη σύλληψή της αλλά φρικώδη ως προς την προέκτασή της στα «δια ταύτα», αντίληψη που έγινε το υπόβαθρο των κατοπινών (1999) ΝΑΤΟϊκών, «ανθρωπιστικών» βομβαρδισμών. Δηλαδή το εξωφρενικό αξίωμα, βάσει του οποίου ο πόλεμος στη Γιουγκοσλαβία ξέσπασε επειδή βρέθηκε ένας -και μόνον- κακός λύκος, ο σερβικός, εν μέσω καλοκάγαθων κατοικίδιων.

Οι 14.000 ψυχές που χάθηκαν στην Κράινα κλήθηκαν να γίνουν στο πεδίο των ιστορικών καταγραφών πρόωρες «παράπλευρες απώλειες». Οι άλλες «παράπλευρες απώλειες», εκείνες τις οποίες θα επέφεραν οι βομβαρδισμοί έπειτα από τρία χρόνια και οκτώ μήνες, κατέγραψαν τον όρο στο συλλογικό μας υποσυνείδητο. Για να συνηθίσουμε (να ανεχόμαστε) την πρακτική, δηλαδή τις θανατώσεις αμάχων, η οποία έκτοτε αναγνωρίζεται ως κτηνώδης, μόνο όταν την τιμούν ανεπιθύμητες ηγεσίες κρατών ή «τρελαμένοι» τζιχαντιστές που συνιστούν «ασύμμετρη απειλή». Τα «συμμετρικά» εγκλήματα, δεν είναι ακριβώς εγκλήματα…

Επίσης, οι 14.000 ψυχές που χάθηκαν στην Κράινα αποδείχθηκαν προπομπός, «συμμετρικά» λογικός… Διότι αν νοείται ανεκτή (από τη «διεθνή κοινότητα) εθνοκάθαρση, βουτηγμένη στο αίμα 14.000 ανθρώπων σε περίοδο πολέμου, γιατί να μην γινόταν και μια κατοπινή, (μεταπολεμική και για αυτό λιγότερο ηχηρή) εθνοκάθαρση, υπό την αιγίδα του ΝΑΤΟ και της περιβόητης «KFOR», σε βάρος του σερβικού πληθυσμού του Κοσσυφοπεδίου; Κι αν είναι δυνατόν να «χάνονται» από το οπτικό πεδίο του «καθώς πρέπει» κόσμου 14.000 νεκροί στην Κράινα, πώς να μην περιέβαλε γενική σιωπή κάποιους τάφους με 10-15 νεκρούς Σέρβους, που ανακαλύπτονταν το φθινόπωρο του 1999 σε ζώνες ευθύνης (πχ στο Γκνιλιάνε) των αμερικανικών στρατευμάτων;

Η σφαγή της Σρεμπρένιτσα ορθότατα είναι σημείο αναφοράς. Αλλά η εξωφρενική, εξοργιστική «παραγραφή» της σφαγής στην Κράινα, απλώς επιβεβαιώνει κάτι: Πως οι ισχυροί ένοχοι και συνένοχοι τραγωδιών όπως εκείνη της πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβίας, είτε κατοικοεδρεύουν στο Βερολίνο και στις Βρυξέλλες είτε στην Ουάσινγκτον, αφού «ξεμπερδέψουν» με την οργάνωση των «καλών» πολέμων και των «καλών» εθνοκαθάρσεων, «καθαρίζουν» και την ιστορία, σχίζοντας ενοχλητικές σελίδες ή και ολόκληρα κεφάλαια. Κι αυτή τους η «επιχείρηση» δεν πρέπει να μένει αναπάντητη.
