Διεθνής καμπάνια κατά της προπαγάνδας για τη Βενεζουέλα - Αντιδράσεις και στην Αθήνα

Σε συλλογή υπογραφών με τις οποίες καταδικάζουν την παραπληροφόρηση, που προωθούν διεθνή μέσα ενημέρωσης εναντίον της Βενεζουέλας, προχωρούν γνωστές προσωπικότητες από το χώρο των γραμμάτων και της δημοσιογραφίας.

Το σχετικό κείμενο υπογράφουν μεταξύ άλλων ο νομπελίστας, Αργεντίνος συγγραφέας Αντόλφο Περεζ Εσκουάιαρ, ο συγγραφέας και πρώην διευθυντής της Monde Diplomatique, Ιγκνασιο Ραμονέτ, ο Αμερικανός οικονομολόγος Μάρκ Βάισμπροτ και πολλοί άλλοι.

Όπως αναφέρουν στο κείμενό τους, η δημοκρατική διαδικασία των εκλογών στη Βενεζουέλα μποϊκοτάρεται από πολιτικούς και δημοσιογράφους που λειτουργούν σαν βραχίονας μεγάλων επιχειρηματικών ομάδων εντός και εκτός της Βενεζουέλας.

Οι υπογράφοντες απαιτούν από τα διεθνή μέσα ενημέρωσης να σεβαστούν το δικαίωμά τους στην ενημέρωση για τις επερχόμενες εκλογές στη Βενεζουέλα με πλουραλιστικό, ισορροπημένο και έντιμο τρόπο.

Την ίδια ώρα με ανακοίνωση της η πρεσβεία της Βενεζουέλας στην Αθήνα κάνει λόγο για «διαστρεβλωμένη και απερίσκεπτη χρήση της Βενεζουέλας από τα πολιτικά κόμματα της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας, τα οποία για λόγους εσωτερικής πολιτικής σκοπιμότητας, επιτίθενται κατά της άριστης σχέσης μεταξύ των δύο χωρών».

Η Πρεσβεία της Μπολιβαριανής Δημοκρατίας της Βενεζουέλας στην Ελλάδα, εξ ονόματος του λαού και της κυβέρνησης της Βενεζουέλας, απορρίπτει την επαναλαμβανόμενη, διαστρεβλωμένη και απερίσκεπτη χρήση της Βενεζουέλας από τα πολιτικά κόμματα της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας, τα οποία για λόγους εσωτερικής πολιτικής σκοπιμότητας, επιτίθενται κατά της άριστης σχέσης μεταξύ των δύο χωρών.

Οι χωρίς νόημα δηλώσεις σχετικά με τις προεδρικές εκλογές που θα διεξαχθούν στις 20 Μαΐου στη Βενεζουέλα, όχι μόνο δείχνουν ασέβεια απέναντι σε ένα ανεξάρτητο εκλογικό σύστημα, αλλά τους αποδίδεται ένας νομιμοποιητικός ρόλος σε μια διαδικασία που βρίσκεται αναφαίρετα στα χέρια του λαού της Βενεζουέλας.

Οι δηλώσεις αυτές αποτελούν φερέφωνο των ευρωπαϊκών θεσμικών οργάνων και επιδιώκουν το πολιτικό όφελος, έχοντας ευθυγραμμιστεί και έχοντας υποκύψει σε μια διεθνή εκστρατεία που προωθείται από τους πιο αντιδραστικούς τομείς του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου. Γεγονός που, αντί να παίζει ένα θετικό ρόλο στην προώθηση της ειρήνης στη Βενεζουέλα, έχει μετατραπεί σε έναν επιθετικό παράγοντα κατά ενός λαού και μιας κυβέρνησης που τόλμησε να έχει ένα διαφορετικό όραμα για τον κόσμο.

Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, η Πρεσβεία της Μπολιβαριανής Δημοκρατίας της Βενεζουέλας στην Ελλάδα, εξ ονόματος του λαού και της κυβέρνησης της Βενεζουέλας, καλεί τον αδελφό ελληνικό λαό σε αμοιβαίο σεβασμό, ενώ επιδιώκει μια σεβαστή αντιμετώπιση του διεθνούς δικαίου και της πολιτικής μας κυριαρχίας από τα πολιτικά κόμματα της Ελλάδας.
