I don't have enough information about the situation in Iran, right now, ... there is a lot of speculation from my foreign policy team that they're in real trouble and they're lying. But I would need more information to make that judgment.
What a terrible response, indeed. The out-of-touch corporate neoliberal couldn't even say that he would temporarily lift sanctions against Iran for humanitarian reasons.
This was a great opportunity to show that he could make the difference against Trump. This was a great opportunity to demonstrate that he is different from the ruthless right-wing demagogue. A criminal who, in the midst of a major crisis, has chosen to expand sanctions against a country that has been heavily suffered from the pandemic.
But no. "Creepy uncle Joe" didn't even bother to defend one of the very few positive achievements that the Obama administration - during which he served as vice-president - left behind: the Iran nuclear deal.
What did he do? He dropped all the assets he had in his arsenal that would help him attack Trump from the Left. And he did it, just only to make sure that he would not disturb the deep state apparatus with his response because the question was meant to test Biden's loyalty on the deep state agenda.

Let us inform Mr. Biden that, according to Alfred de Zayas, a former UN Special Rapporteur, intensified US sanctions against Iran and Venezuela during the crisis are "insane", and possibly genocidal.
This is probably the best evidence we had so far for the fact that Biden would start a war with Iran, just like Trump.
As we wrote early this year, the US imperialists escalate tension with Iran, trying to achieve a
maximum that will coincide with the 2020 US presidential election. The
US deep state will take action to eliminate the chances of any anti-war
progressive to become the next US president. Then, either a corporate
Democrat or Trump will follow the plan and start a war with Iran.
Eventually, this corporate Democrat is Biden.
So, here is the real face
of the man who many progressives have chosen to endorse. Try to picture
their position in case that Biden eventually beats Trump and becomes the
deep state puppet that will start a war with unimaginable consequences.
