Υπερτιμημένα τα καθεστωτικά πλυντήρια εγκεφάλου;

Πού οφείλεται το γεγονός ότι ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης ανέκρουσε πρύμναν ή, πιο λαϊκά, τα μάζεψε κι έκανε κωλοτούμπα, στο θέμα του «σκόιλ ελικικού»; Όπου, με την αλλόκοτη αυτή έκφραση, εννοούμε τα γνωστά και ως «vouchers της ντροπής». Και, για την ακρίβεια, το σκάνδαλο της ανάθεσης σε ημετέρους, ιδιοκτήτες ιδιωτικών κολλεγίων, να τηλεκαταρτίσουν επιστήμονες. Ανάθεση στους κολλητούς της κυβέρνησης, δηλαδή, να μοιράσουν το επίδομα των 600 ευρώ, τσεπώνοντας και οι ίδιοι 470 (1.070 ευρώ θα πλήρωνε το κράτος για καθέναν από τους 160.000 επιστήμονες).

Πρόκειται για ένα σκάνδαλο που εκθέτει ανεπανόρθωτα την κυβέρνηση της Νέας Δημοκρατίας και, πρωτίστως, τα υψηλά ιστάμενα στελέχη της. Όσους, επί μέρες, ισχυρίζονταν ότι δεν υπάρχει κανένα απολύτως πρόβλημα: από το Μέγαρο Μαξίμου και τους κορυφαίους υπουργούς, Γιάννη Βρούτση (Εργασίας) και Άδωνι Γεωργιάδη (Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων, αλλά και αντιπρόεδρο του κυβερνώντος κόμματος), μέχρι τον ίδιο τον, κρυπτόμενο πίσω από το δάχτυλό του, Κυριάκο Μητσοτάκη. Ένα σκάνδαλο που φαίνεται ότι καταφέρνει στην κυβέρνηση το ισχυρότερο πλήγμα που έχει δεχτεί μέχρι σήμερα.

Κατ’ αρχάς, σε μεγάλο βαθμό, ο πρωθυπουργός έκανε όπισθεν ολοταχώς εξαιτίας των κοινωνικών δικτύων, τα οποία κυριολεκτικά «λοιμώχθηκαν», θα λέγαμε, στα αλαμπουρνέζικα που γέννησαν οι πλατφόρμες με τα φαιδρά ψευτοπρογράμματα τηλεκατάρτισης των κολλεγίων. Με άλλα λόγια, τα σόσιαλ μήντια αφηνίασαν ή, όπως συνηθίσαμε πια να γράφουμε, έκαναν πάρτι και το γλέντησαν κατορθώνοντας να αλλάξουν την ατζέντα (η πλειοψηφία των ΜΜΕ απέκρυψε, αρχικά, την κατακραυγή που είχε ξεσηκωθεί και αποσιώπησε θρασύτατα το όλο ζήτημα). Πράγμα που σημαίνει, απλούστατα, ότι ο πολιτικός ρόλος των κοινωνικών δικτύων δεν πρέπει καθόλου να υποτιμάται.

Δεύτερος μοχλός πίεσης και αιτία αλλαγής της κυβερνητικής στάσης υπήρξε το μπουκέτο των λιγοστών αντιπολιτευόμενων μέσων ενημέρωσης, από την «Εφημερίδα των Συντακτών» και το «Documento» ως το «Tvxs» και την «Αυγή», που «μέτζη του νεούκτη». (Η φράση ερμηνεύεται κατά βούληση, αφού, σε φέισμπουκ και τουίτερ, τα κολλεγιακά αλαμπουρνέζικα λειτουργούν ως μεταγλώσσα ή όπως τα κορακίστικα. Τόσο ευτράπελες εκφράσεις αξίζει να μείνουν στα νεοελληνικά, εν είδει γλωσσικού απολιθώματος). Εν ολίγοις, η αλλαγή στάσης, η οπισθοχώρηση, η κωλοτούμπα, οφείλονται και στο μπαράζ κριτικής των αντιδεξιών ΜΜΕ, που ανέδειξαν σχεδόν από την πρώτη στιγμή το θέμα.

Υπάρχει, όμως, και κάτι άλλο, που λιγότερο μπορεί κανείς να το αποδείξει και περισσότερο να το υποψιαστεί ή, ίσως, να το διαισθανθεί. Εκτός και αν επικαλεστούμε την ανάλογη εμπειρία μεταξύ 2011 με 2015, που διογκώθηκε ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ και ξεκινώντας από ένα κομματίδιο του 3% έφτασε στο σημείο να πάρει την εξουσία. Μία εμπειρία κραυγαλέας αμφισβήτησης των καθεστωτικών μηχανισμών προπαγάνδας, και κυρίως της τηλεόρασης, μέσω της οποίας, κατά τον Ουμπέρτο Έκο, γίνονται οι σύγχρονες δικτατορίες, που δεν έχουν πια ανάγκη από στρατιωτικά τανκς.

Πώς θα μπορούσαμε να διατυπώσουμε, εν συντομία, την εμπειρία αυτής της αμφισβήτησης; Όταν ο λαός έρχεται αντιμέτωπος με την αμείλικτη πραγματικότητα της πτωχοποίησής του ή, αλλιώς, της βίαιης και ξαφνικής υφαρπαγής των υλικών κεκτημένων του, τα συστημικά μέσα ενημέρωσης αδυνατούν να τον χειραγωγήσουν. Είτε πρόκειται για την τελευταία οικονομική κρίση του χρηματοπιστωτικού καπιταλισμού είτε για την, προ των πυλών, οικονομική κρίση λόγω της πανδημίας του κορονοϊού.

Εν ολίγοις, μήπως τα καθεστωτικά πλυντήρια εγκεφάλου δεν αποτελούν και τόσο μεγάλη απειλή; Μήπως, εντέλει, είναι υπερεκτιμημένα και υπερτιμημένα; Και, ακόμη πιο πολύ, μήπως ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ αποδίδει την εκλογική ήττα του στη μηντιακή υπεροπλία της Δεξιάς, μόνο και μόνο για να κουκουλώσει τις δικές του αδυναμίες και αποτυχίες και ευθύνες; Προκειμένου να αποφύγει την πικρή ειρωνεία του γεγονότος ότι, εξαιτίας των συμβιβασμών του με το ευρωϊερατείο και παρά την αριστερή ρητορεία του, εφάρμοσε μία καθαρόαιμη δεξιά πολιτική;
