Σολτζ: Η Γερμανία έδωσε χρήματα στις τράπεζες, όχι στους Έλληνες

Την άποψη ότι η κρίση κόστισε ακριβά στη Γερμανία, αλλά τα χρήματα που η πιο ισχυρή οικονομία της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης χορήγησε δεν πήγαν στον ελληνικό λαό αλλά στις τράπεζες εκφράζει ο ευρωβουλευτής του γερμανικού κόμματος της Αριστεράς Die Linke, Χέλμουντ Σολτζ, μιλώντας στο tvxs.gr. Ακόμη μιλάει για το χρέος, την Ευρώπη και το δρόμο που ανοίγει η άνοδος της Αριστεράς.

“Βλέπουμε με μεγάλη ευχαρίστηση και αλληλεγγύη τις προσπάθειες των αριστερών δυνάμεων να πάρουν το μέλλον των ανθρώπων στα χέρια τους, και η Αριστερά είναι φυσικά μία από τις δυνάμεις αυτές που θα ανταποκριθούν περισσότερο στην ανάγκη των πολιτών να αλλάξουν την καθημερινή τους ζωή. [...] είμαστε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι για το γεγονός ότι η Αριστερά προτείνει εναλλακτική πολιτική σκέψη η οποία συναντά τις ανάγκες των κοινωνιών των χωρών που έχουν πληγεί περισσότερο από τις επιπτώσεις της κρίσης.”

“... από την πολύ αρχή ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ θα πρέπει να έχει ένα κοινό πρόγραμμα συνεργασίας με άλλες αριστερές ευρωπαϊκές δυνάμεις, ώστε αυτά που προσπαθεί να αλλάξει να υποστηριχθούν και από τις λοιπές δυνάμεις της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.”

“Πρέπει να αναλύσουμε εις βάθος τη δομή της ευρωζώνης και πώς οι πλούσιοι πρέπει να συνεισφέρουν. Πρέπει επίσης να γίνει ένας δημόσιος διάλογος για το γεγονός ότι ναι ισχύει ότι η Γερμανία έχει δώσει πολλά χρήματα για την κρίση, αλλά ήταν χρήματα που δόθηκαν για να σταθεροποιηθεί το ευρώ αλλά και για να σταθεροποιηθεί το τραπεζικό σύστημα. Έτσι δεν έχουν δοθεί χρήματα άμεσα στον ελληνικό λαό, αλλά τα χρήματα δόθηκαν στις τράπεζες.”

“... δεν είναι μόνο η πρόκληση που έχουμε να δώσουμε ένα ορισμένο ποσό το οποίο η Γερμανία έκλεψε από τους Έλληνες κατά τη διάρκεια του Β’Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου αλλά θα πρέπει να επαναπροσδιορίσουμε όλη την οικονομική λογική. Πιστεύω ότι πρέπει να δρομολογηθεί ενός είδος κουρέματος του χρέους, αλλά σε ένα διεθνές πλαίσιο αναδιατύπωσης των υποχρεώσεων των χωρών-κρατών της ευρωζώνης.”

“Αυτή τη στιγμή στην Ευρώπη οι αριστερές δυνάμεις κάνουν μία σοβαρή προσπάθεια να αναπτύξουν μία εναλλακτική στρατηγική. Ωστόσο οι ψηφοφόροι πιστεύουν πως αν η Αριστερά έρθει στα πράγματα θα τεθεί αυτομάτως θέμα παραδείσου ή κολάσεως. Αυτό όμως είναι μία λάθος οπτική. Είναι πολύ σημαντικό λοιπόν να επικοινωνήσουμε στους πολίτες πως προσεγγίζουμε τα προβλήματα. Η μεγαλύτερη πρόκληση για τις αριστερές ευρωπαϊκές δυνάμεις είναι να οδηγήσουν τους πολίτες πίσω στην πολιτική δραστηριότητα, ώστε να αλλάξουν μαζί τους την πραγματικότητα. Κι ελπίζω ότι ο ΣΥΡΙΖΑ στην Ελλάδα και οι Podemos στην Ισπανία θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να ανοίξουν το δρόμο που θα αποτελέσει παράδειγμα και για τη γερμανική Αριστερά.”

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that.
