saying on Monday that Russia believes NATO is destabilizing northern
Europe by holding military exercises there and 'transferring aircraft
capable of carrying nuclear arms' to the Baltic states.”
“Alexander
Grushko, Russia’s envoy to the Western military alliance, also said
last month that the country will inspect NATO’s increasing presence
in Eastern Europe being established under the pretext of the crisis
in Ukraine, adding that it will frame its new defense policy with
regard to the issue.”
“'What
are NATO military commander in Europe Philip Breedlove and the likes
of him doing? They are trying to shake up the most stable region in
the world, which is Europe’s north. Those endless military
exercises, rebasing of aircraft capable of delivering nuclear weapons
to the Baltic nations. This is the reality, a very negative one,' he
said.”
“Britain
expressed concern on Monday over what it called the 'aggressive
testing' of its airspace by Russian aircraft. 'The extremely
aggressive probing of our air space by Russian aircraft is an issue
of concern to us,' British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond told MPs.
'It is entirely appropriate for NATO countries in particular to work
together to respond to what is a change of Russia's dealings with
NATO and indeed the non-NATO European countries.'”
The US and its EU vassals are very easily propagandizing (molding) people in the West in the ramp up to a new Cold War and very likely Hot War that will follow at some point. It is obviously too late to prevent what the West is up to. My only remaining hope is that the coalescing East will become sufficiently strong to draw a line that the West will dare not cross, then will come the moment of truth: will the US still cross that line, taking the world into an immense catastrophe? Carl Jung said that the world might just turn the corner from the first Cold War without too much devastation. In the 1990's I thought we just made it around that corner. But the West could not accept peace, and again we face catastrophe. The US is morphing into a thug state. I fear for the worst, and have little hope for our future.
