Are US financial elites interested in Daesh rise?

America's Muslims can by no means be regarded as the "enemy within," however there is an entity that supports Daesh (Islamic State/ISIL) from inside the United States, Calep Maupin notes, pointing the finger at omnipotent US oligarchs and financial elites.

Wall Street tycoons pursue their own vested interests in Syria and Iraq, New York-based political analyst Caleb Maupin notes; as Daesh (Islamic State/ISIL) grows stronger, their profits increase, he underscores.

What is the source of ISIS [Daesh] weaponry? ISIS, like all the other anti-government terrorist groups in Syria, has received a steady flow of weapons from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar. These countries are absolute monarchies propped up by Exxon Mobile and other powerful US oil corporations,” Maupin writes in his article for New Eastern Outlook.

The political analyst emphasizes that a large percentage of the social media which is activity supporting Daesh originates within Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

The Wall Street oil plantations also known as the 'Gulf States' have been pouring weapons into Syria, as many of their poorest citizens, unemployed as a result of the oil-price drop, find their way into ISIS [Daesh] ranks,” he underscores.

Although Saudi Arabia cannot boast a large army, it has the fourth-largest military budget in the world. It has been purchasing weapons exclusively from the United States: Back in 2010 Riyadh and Washington conducted the biggest arms deal in history worth $60.5 billion, the political analyst writes.

Daesh militants have been spotted armed to the teeth with American weapons. Coincidence? Unlikely. It is Saudi Arabia and its Gulf neighbors who poured US-manufactured arms into Syria.

Needless to say, US military contractors such as General Electric, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin are making every effort to keep Washington on good terms with pro-Daesh Gulf dictatorships through their Congress lobbyists, Maupin remarks.

At the same time, another US ally and NATO member Turkey has been facilitating the sale of Daesh oil and allowing Islamic extremists from all over the world to flow into Syria. Surprisingly, Washington has not raised a finger to bring Ankara's illicit actions to an end.

Maupin expresses his concerns regarding the recent move made by US Congress in the wake of the San Bernardino attack.

Incredible as it may seem, Congress passed a law restricting entrance to the US for anyone who has ever visited the Islamic… Republic of Iran. But it is no secret that Iran is waging a fierce war against Daesh thugs, Maupin points out.

In the aftermath of ISIS-linked terrorist attacks, the US congress has taken action, not against ISIS, but against one of ISIS' key enemies. Meanwhile, the pro-ISIS groupings remain strong and intact,” the US political analyst writes.

Maupin draws parallels between America's financial elites which supported Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany in the beginning of the Second World War and those Wall Street tycoons who actually facilitate the rise of Daesh and Islamic fundamentalism.

However, US president Franklin Roosevelt found the solution. The political analyst praises the Roosevelt administration's “Trading with the Enemy Act” that helped Washington to close down the “pro-Nazi house of finance” within the United States. “The current situation calls for equally harsh measures,” he underscores.

The defeat of ISIS [Daesh] is something that the people of the United States, the people of Russia, the people of China, Iran, Venezuela, and almost every other country on earth can agree on. However, US leaders have not seriously committed to this effort. The US government continues to maintain hostility to the forces actively defeating ISIS on the battlefield. These sinister policies are being actively dictated by the financial oligarchy which has no loyalty to the United States, its people, or world peace,” Caleb Maupin emphasizes.

How Western societies lost their faith in Vision

Why people don't rise up massively today? Why there are no real revolutions? How we tolerate all things that have been imposed to us? These questions come up in people's minds more and more often today in Greece and abroad, due to the economic crisis. Some theories are circulated as an answer, among these, explanations which include, for example, the psychosynthesis of modern Greeks, but the truth is that there is something more fundamental behind this passive behaviour and concerns not only Greece, but the entire Western world. by system failure Prior to the beginning of the 20th century, Friedrich Nietzsche declares God's death and Western world will put all its hopes in science. Laplace's Determinism leads to the almighty man, who through science, can find all the answers for the world. Technology, which naturally comes from scientific discoveries, promises prosperity and a better life for the majority. Science becomes the central "pylon...

Billionaires are social distancing in super yachts as tens of millions lose jobs

Everyday, it becomes clearer: the COVID-19 pandemic is hitting poor, working, and marginalized communities the hardest. Millions of workers – especially low-wage retail, food service, hospitality, and care workers – have faced the terrible choice daily between going to work and risking their health, or staying home and risking their paychecks. Many other workers don’t even have that choice, with around 30 million people in the US filing for unemployment in the past six weeks. But billionaires don’t face these same problems. As tens of millions have lost their jobs over the past two months, billionaire wealth soared by a whopping $282 billion between March 18 and April 10, according to a new study from the Institute for Policy Studies.  And while finding enough space to wait out the pandemic is something many struggle with, billionaires have been escaping to their second (or third, or fourth) homes to ride it out in luxury – all while they position themselves to ...

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Stephen Hawking confirms: The problem is Capitalism, not robots!

globinfo freexchange According to world famous physicist Stephen Hawking, the rising use of automated machines may mean the end of human rights – not just jobs. But he’s not talking about robots with artificial intelligence taking over the world, he’s talking about the current capitalist political system and its major players. On Reddit, Hawking said that the economic gap between the rich and the poor will continue to grow as more jobs are automated by machines, and the owners of said machines hoard them to create more wealth for themselves. The insatiable thirst for capitalist accumulation bestowed upon humans by years of lies and terrible economic policy has affected technology in such a way that one of its major goals has become to replace human jobs. If we do not take this warning seriously, we may face unfathomable corporate domination. If we let the same people who buy and sell our political system and resources maintain control of automated technology, the...

Iran ALREADY HAS A Nuclear Weapon – Says Inside Source!

The Jimmy Dore Show   Guest host Garland Nixon interviews former intelligence analyst Larry Johnson about escalating tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, focusing on reports that Israel is not only urging Washington to abandon negotiations, but is also pressuring the U.S. to assassinate Iran’s lead negotiator. Johnson claims that Iran has withdrawn from talks with the U.S., may leave the nuclear non-proliferation framework, and could potentially conduct a public nuclear test to demonstrate deterrence capabilities, citing information he says came from intelligence sources. The discussion examines the strategic roles of Pakistan, China, and Russia in the region, as well as disputes over the Strait of Hormuz, Israeli military actions, and the prospects for a new Middle East security architecture independent of U.S. influence. The speakers argue that Israeli efforts to weaken Iran have instead strengthened Tehran's regional position and altered the geopolitical balan...

Maggie's ghost: What is haunting Europe

by system failure "A ghost is haunting Europe — the ghost of Communism", Marx wrote in the Communist Manifesto, in 1847. He couldn't probably predict that the ghost above Europe in 2013, would have been totally different. Thatcher's dogmatic faith in free market, in minimizing state's presence, was a basic characteristic of her political perception. One could wonder, why the "Iron Lady" silenced in front of the facts during last decade, especially after the global economic crisis. Is it because of her age? Was she believed in the routine motto that "this is just a capitalism's cycle and will recover soon"? Or is it because she finally understood, rather late, that this was not an ideal model of the free market, but the prevail of a peculiar bank-debtocracy? Margaret Thatcher, is a characteristic case of a politician, who's fanatic faith in a specific perception, wouldn't let her see the real picture, what was this per...
