Επιλεκτικές συμμαχίες Τραμπ με Ριάντ και Τελ Αβίβ

Με σηκωμένα τα μανίκια για καυγά με τους ευρωπαίους αλλά και έτοιμος να συμμετέχει στις πιο σκληρές «συμμορίες» της Μέσης Ανατολής πέρασε τον Ατλαντικό ο Αμερικανός πρόεδρος. Στις πρώτες επαφές που είχε στη Σαουδική Αραβία και το Ισραήλ ο Τραμπ κλιμάκωσε τις απειλές εναντίον του Ιράν, παρά το γεγονός ότι η επανεκλογή του φιλοδυτικού προέδρου Ρουχανί στην Τεχεράνη άνοιγε θεωρητικά το δρόμο για μεγαλύτερη συνεργασία.

Υποσχόμενος νέα οικονομική βοήθεια προς το Ισραήλ και οπλικά συστήματα αξίας 350 δισεκατομμυρίων δολαρίων στη Σαουδική Αραβία (χρήματα δηλαδή που θα επιστρέψουν στην αμερικανική πολεμική βιομηχανία αφού «βαπτιστούν» στο αίμα της Μέσης Ανατολής) ο Τραμπ κήρυξε πραγματική «σταυροφορία» εναντίον της Τεχεράνης — είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι στο Ριάντ χρησιμοποίησε εννέα φορές τη λέξη «Θεός».

Ενδιαφέρον παρουσιάζει το γεγονός ότι το κράτος- τρομοκράτης του Ισραήλ δεν ενοχλήθηκε ιδιαίτερα από την συμμαχία των σουνιτών βασιλιάδων και δικτατόρων που συγκροτεί ο αμερικανός πρόεδρος για να αντιπαρατεθεί με το σιιτικό Ιράν.

Πολεμικό χαρακτήρα, αλλά αυτή τη φορά σε οικονομικό επίπεδο, είχε και η επίσκεψη του Τραμπ στην Ευρώπη. Οι επιθέσεις του ξεκίνησαν με τις ιδιαίτερα σκληρές προειδοποιήσεις προς τις χώρες μέλη του ΝΑΤΟ να αυξήσουν τις πολεμικές τους δαπάνες (η Ελλάδα ήταν από τις ελάχιστες χώρες που απέφυγαν την κριτική αφού οι στρατιωτικές δαπάνες ως ποσοστό του ΑΕΠ είναι οι δεύτερες μεγαλύτερες μετά τις ΗΠΑ).

Σύντομα όμως ήρθε και το κυρίως πιάτο της απευθείας αντιπαράθεσης με την οικονομική πολιτική της Γερμανίας. Κατά τη διάρκεια συνάντησής του με τον Γιούνκερ και τον Τουσκ, ο Τράμπ χαρακτήρισε τη Γερμανία «κακή, πολύ κακή» και απείλησε να διακόψει τις πωλήσεις γερμανικών αυτοκινήτων στις ΗΠΑ. Από την πλευρά του ο οικονομικός σύμβουλος του προέδρου, Γκάρι Κον, προετοίμασε το έδαφος για σύγκρουση γιγάντων σχετικά με τον καθορισμό νέων κανόνων διατλαντικού εμπορείου ενώ χαρακτήρισε «άδικη» τη συμφωνία του Παρισιού για τις κλιματικές αλλαγές, συμπληρώνοντας ότι περιορίζει την αμερικανική οικονομική ανάπτυξη και στρεβλώνει τις συνθήκες του διεθνούς ανταγωνισμού.

Ιδιαίτερα σκληρή ήταν η στάση της αμερικανικής διπλωματίας και στο θέμα των προσφύγων και μεταναστών αφού σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες απέρριψε κατηγορηματικά τις προτάσεις της Ιταλίας για μια τυπική αναφορά στο δικαίωμα των προσφύγων να αναζητούν ασφαλές καταφύγιο… από τους πολέμους των ΗΠΑ και της ΕΕ στη Μέση Ανατολή.

Όσο και αν επιχειρούν τα ευρωπαϊκά μέσα ενημέρωσης να αποδώσουν την ένταση στον αλλοπρόσαλλο χαρακτήρα και την παιδιάστικη συμπεριφορά του Ντόναλντ Τραμπ, η αλήθεια είναι ότι μπροστά στα μάτια μας καταρρέει ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι της αρχιτεκτονικής των διεθνών σχέσεων που ακολούθησε το δεύτερο παγκόσμιο πόλεμο.

Όπως εύστοχα παρατηρούσαν οι Φαϊνάνσιαλ Τάιμς, ο Τραμπ έθεσε υπό αμφισβήτηση ακόμη και το άρθρο 5 του ΝΑΤΟ για την από κοινού δράση σε περίπτωση επίθεσης σε ένα κράτος μέλος. Προφανώς η αμφισβήτηση της νατοϊκής συμμορίας, που εδώ και μισό αιώνα επιβάλλει με επιτυχία τη νεο-αποικιακή πολιτική της Δύσης σε Αφρική και Ασία, δεν γίνεται προς όφελος της ειρήνης αλλά υπό την σκιά της εσωτερικής αντιπαράθεσης των μελών της.

Η Ουάσιγκτον ξεκαθαρίζει ότι μπορεί να συνεργαστεί πολύ ευκολότερα με τρομοκρατικά καθεστώτα όπως του Ριάντ και του Τελ Αβίβ –με την ίδια ευκολία που παλαιότερα εξόπλιζε δυνάμεις που δημιούργησαν το Ισλαμικό Κράτος– παρά με τους παραδοσιακούς ευρωπαίους συμμάχους της.
