Απολύστε τον λαϊκιστή!

O Nίκος Αγγελίδης της ΕΡΤ, μεταδίδοντας το κλίμα των προεδρικών εκλογών από το Παρίσι, τόλμησε να πει σε πρωϊνή εκπομπή πως «είναι πολλοί που λένε ότι μεταξύ των δύο πολύ κακών υποψηφίων, επικράτησε ο λιγότερο χειρότερος, ο εκπρόσωπος των τραπεζών»! Είπε δηλαδή αυτό που λένε, μέσες άκρες, οι γάλλοι αριστεροί. Τι ήταν όμως να το πει;

Τον άκουσε ο Σταύρος Θεοδωράκης και έγινε αμέσως τούρκος από το θυμό του και αφού τον αποκάλεσε φασίστα και ανόητο, κάλεσε εμμέσως και τον Λάμπη Ταγματάρχη να τον απολύσει πάραυτα.

Δικαιολογημένα πάντως αγανάκτησε ο Σταύρος, διότι έκανε τόσο κόπο ο άνθρωπος να εκλέξει τον Μακρόν και να φράξει τον δρόμο στον λαϊκισμό. Και ενώ πανηγυρίζει πίνοντας τον καφέ του και τρώγοντας κρουασάν βλέπει αυτόν της ΕΡΤ να αποκαλεί τραπεζίτη τον φίλο του. Είναι να μην αγανακτήσει; Μόλις λίγες μέρες πριν το ίδιο το Ποτάμι, με βαρυσήμαντη ανακοίνωση της ηγεσίας του, κάλεσε το γαλλικό λαό να φράξει το δρόμο στο φασισμό και τον ναζισμό, το ρατσισμό και την ξενοφοβία και να εκλέξει τον μεταρρυθμιστή Μακρόν. Και ο γαλλικός λαός αμέσως τόκανε, χωρίς δεύτερη κουβέντα.

Επομένως τί λέει ο Αγγελίδης; Να απολυθεί. Φαίνεται θυμάται με συγκίνηση ο Σταύρος τις μέρες του Σημίτη, όπου τότε το καθεστώς δεν επέτρεπε όχι στην ΕΡΤ, αλλά ούτε και στα ιδιωτικά κανάλια να λέγονται πράγματα εναντίον του και όσοι δημοσιογράφοι δεν ήταν σημιτικοί σπανίως περνούσαν την πόρτα των ΜΜΕ. Μόνον η Μαλβίνα με τα χίλια ζόρια γλύτωσε, παρότι το σημιτικό καθεστώς απαιτούσε από το mega να την απολύσει.

Αυτά μάλλον θυμάται ο Σταύρος και επηρεασμένος από το παρελθόν του ζητάει το κεφάλι του Αγγελίδη και όλης της εκπομπής, μαζί με την Ακριβοπούλου μέσα. Ωστόσο είναι γεγονός αγαπητέ Σταύρο, πως ο Μακρόν είναι τραπεζίτης. Δεν είπε και καμιά συκοφαντία ο άνθρωπος.

Και είναι κακό να είσαι τραπεζίτης; Όχι βέβαια. Ειδικώς εάν είσαι κι εσύ τραπεζίτης. Εάν δεν είσαι σου ξενίζει κάπως, διότι θάθελες έναν πιο ουδέτερο, κάπως εκτός των αριθμών και πιο κοντά στην πολιτική πλευρά των πραγμάτων. Κράτος θα διοικήσει ο Πρόεδρος της ρεπουμπλίκ, όχι παράρτημα off shore στα νησιά Kαϋμάν.

Αλλά τέλος πάντων, εφόσον δεν θέλουμε την Λεπέν, βγάλαμε τον Μακρόν. Σύμφωνα με τις μετρήσεις όμως, οι μισοί ψηφοφόροι του δεν τον θέλουν! Τον ψήφισαν εξαιτίας της Λεπέν. Οπότε, αυτό είπε και ο έρμος ο Αγγελίδης.

Να μείνει λοιπόν στη θέση του; Θα πρέπει πρώτα να ερωτηθεί ο Σταύρος. Εάν έχουν καλμάρει τα νεύρα του ας μείνει. Εάν όχι πρέπει αμέσως να τον πετάξουμε στο δρόμο άνεργο. Διότι μπορεί να είναι και λαϊκιστής απο πάνω αυτός ο Αγγελίδης.

Βεβαίως ο δημοσιογράφος μπορεί ελευθέρως να λέει τη γνώμη του στις δυτικές δημοκρατίες. Σωστό. Αλλά σύμφωνα με το Σταύρο, αυτό έχει κάποια όρια. Να την λες τη γνώμη σου ελεύθερα, αρκεί να μην είσαι λαϊκιστής και ταυτοχρόνως να είσαι και υπέρ των τραπεζιτών και πιο συγκεκριμένα υπέρ του Μακρόν.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events.
