Establishment's favorite 'band' in the UK: Theresa May and the Conservatives!

Another terror attack in Europe coincidentally(?) occurs right before crucial national elections, this time in the UK - The British media start the war against Jeremy Corbyn just like the US media did with Bernie Sanders

Who is the establishment's reserve in the UK this time? No doubt: Theresa May and the Conservatives.

In fact, the establishment doesn't seem to have too many options now that sees with terror that the Labour party starts 'derailing' dangerously from the neoliberal agenda, under Jeremy Corbyn. Brexit was not Theresa May's idea, after all. She is definitely establishment's favourite, a kind of reincarnation of Margaret Thatcher, the holy mother of neoliberals all over the world.

So, the British media sharpen their knives against Labour party leader, Jeremy Corbyn, because he brings back forgotten pro-people policies against the agenda of the plutocracy. Which shows that for the elites, Brexit is not that important right now. The important thing is to keep Britain under the flag of cruel neoliberalism that serves their interests against the benefit of the majority.

The Labour party rhetoric and policies that is promising under Corbyn is shifting to the opposite side. For example, some of these policies include:

  • University tuition fees would be scrapped and student living grants would be brought back. This could well explain why voter registration has soared among students with a predicted 55% backing the Labour party.

  • Sixty pc of UK's energy will come from renewable sources by 2030.

  • Railways would be brought back to public ownership, reversing Margaret Thatcher's 1993 privatization, which almost all travelers agree, has led to absurd prices with an abysmal train service.

  • And, of course, the Labour party promises to reinforce Britain's National Health Service (NHS) under public control, instead of undermining it, like the conservatives do, in order to sell it off to private companies.

In another very important national election in Europe, a terrible event comes conveniently close. The Manchester Arena bombing will assist the establishment to maintain power through more repression and fear. These are the last 'solutions' left when the classic narratives and methods start becoming dysfunctional.

So, terror will force the British to vote the conservatives who are presenting themselves as being more tough against migrants, resembling the far right narratives and ideology. But the truth is that they don't care about security. Their job is to pave the way for the complete appliance of the neoliberal policies which include more privatizations, more tax-reliefs for the super-rich, complete destruction of the welfare state against the poorest and most vulnerable.

Terror in all kinds of forms, is the most useful tool for the elites in order to keep the masses subservient and paralyzed, unable to revolt and counterattack against the neo-Feudal conditions that are about to come. We saw it already in France and elsewhere.

The attack on Corbyn by Britain's right-wing media has been ferocious. Overcoming this level of hostility would take a political earthquake. That is, a lot of courage by the British people to defy again the sirens of the establishment, as happened with Brexit.

Capitalism & Genocide - Yanis Varoufakis Speech at the Gaza Tribunal, 23rd October 2025, Istanbul

Yanis Varoufakis   On 23rd October, Yanis Varoufakis testified in front of the Jury of Conscience in the context of the Gaza Tribunal. His speech focused on the economic forces underpinning the genocide of the Palestinian people. In particular, he spoke on the manner in which capitalist dynamics have historically fuelled the white settler colonial project and, more recently, how the accumulation of a new form of capital - which he calls cloud capital - has accelerated, deepened and amplified the economic forces powering and propelling the machinery of genocide.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events. The following is a brief response to Ellsberg’s main points from someone who lives in Nicaragua and has observed the situation directly and intimately: https://grayzoneproject.com/2018/08/15/a-res...

Stephen Hawking confirms: The problem is Capitalism, not robots!

globinfo freexchange According to world famous physicist Stephen Hawking, the rising use of automated machines may mean the end of human rights – not just jobs. But he’s not talking about robots with artificial intelligence taking over the world, he’s talking about the current capitalist political system and its major players. On Reddit, Hawking said that the economic gap between the rich and the poor will continue to grow as more jobs are automated by machines, and the owners of said machines hoard them to create more wealth for themselves. The insatiable thirst for capitalist accumulation bestowed upon humans by years of lies and terrible economic policy has affected technology in such a way that one of its major goals has become to replace human jobs. If we do not take this warning seriously, we may face unfathomable corporate domination. If we let the same people who buy and sell our political system and resources maintain control of automated technology, the...

Munich Shock: Rubio’s Vision of a New Western Century & World Order

GVS Deep Dive   At the 2026 Munich Security Conference, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered one of the most consequential foreign policy speeches of the year. Framed as a call for Western renewal, his address went far beyond NATO reassurance — outlining a vision of sovereignty, industrial consolidation, and civilizational confidence that may signal the end of the post-Cold War global order.   Is this the beginning of a Second Cold War?   Is the West reorganizing around bloc competition?   Or are we witnessing the construction of a new world order?
