Το Ιράν εντάσσει τον αμερικανικό στρατό στη λίστα των τρομοκρατικών οργανώσεων

Το Ανώτατο Συμβούλιο Εθνικής Ασφάλειας του Ιράν χαρακτήρισε χθες επίσημα τις δυνάμεις των ΗΠΑ στη Μέση Ανατολή (γνωστές και ως U.S. Central Command – Κεντρική Διοίκηση) ως «τρομοκρατική οργάνωση».

Η κίνηση αυτή έρχεται ως απάντηση στην ένταξη από τις ΗΠΑ του Σώματος Επαναστατικής Φρουράς του Ιράν στις ξένες τρομοκρατικές οργανώσεις.

Καταδικάζοντας την απόφαση των ΗΠΑ, το Ανώτατο Συμβούλιο Εθνικής Ασφάλειας του Ιράν σχολίασε: «Η Ισλαμική Δημοκρατία του Ιράν βλέπει αυτή την αβάσιμη κίνηση σαν μείζονα απειλή για την τοπική και διεθνή ειρήνη και ασφάλεια. Είναι εξώφθαλμη παραβίαση των κανόνων του Διεθνούς Δικαίου και του Καταστατικού Χάρτη των Ηνωμένων Εθνών.»

Σχολίασε επίσης ότι οι αμερικανικές δυνάμεις της Κεντρικής Διοίκησης ήταν επιφορτισμένες με την εφαρμογή των τρομοκρατικών πολιτικών των ΗΠΑ εναντίον χωρών της Μέσης Ανατολής, με αποτέλεσμα να τίθεται σε κίνδυνο η ζωή των Ιρανών και όχι μόνο. Συγκεκριμένα, αναφέρθηκε στο παράδειγμα της Υεμένης, όπου η ζωή των πολιτών βρίσκεται σε διαρκή κίνδυνο εξαιτίας του πολέμου από τη Σαουδική Αραβία, στον οποίο οι ΗΠΑ διαδραματίζουν καίριο ρόλο.

Ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ χαρακτήρισε χθες το Σώμα Επαναστατικής Φρουράς του Ιράν ως βασικό μέσο εφαρμογής της παγκόσμιας εκστρατείας τρομοκρατίας που έχει η κυβέρνηση του Ιράν. «Η απόφαση αυτή, που καθοδηγήθηκε από το Στέιτ Ντιπάρτμεντ, αναγνωρίζει ότι το Ιράν δεν είναι απλώς ένα τρομοκρατικό κράτος, αλλά ότι το Σώμα Επαναστατικής Φρουράς συμμετέχει ενεργά, χρηματοδοτεί και προωθεί την τρομοκρατία ως εργαλείο άσκησης πολιτικής», συμπλήρωσε.

Στην απόφαση των ΗΠΑ άσκησε κριτική και η Συρία, με το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών της να κάνει λόγο για παραβίαση της κυριαρχίας του Ιράν και για εγκαινίαση ενός πολέμου κατά του Ιράν.
