ΜέΡΑ25: O κ. Στουρνάρας να απομακρυνθεί από την Διοίκηση της Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος

Το ΜέΡΑ25 κρίνει ότι ο κ. Στουρνάρας όχι μόνο δεν πρέπει να παραμείνει Διοικητής της ΤτΕ αλλά ότι θα έπρεπε να έχει απομακρυνθεί από καιρό για τέσσερεις συγκεκριμένους λόγους:

1ος Λόγος: Παράβαση καθήκοντος την 15η Δεκεμβρίου 2014 όταν “προέβλεψε” έλλειψη ρευστότητας στην αγορά – κάτι που δεν επιτρέπεται ποτέ σε κανέναν Διοικητή Κεντρικής Τράπεζας. Η δήλωσή του εκείνη ήταν ο προπομπός στην επιχείρηση ασφυξίας μιας κυβέρνησης που δεν είχε ακόμα εκλεγεί και οδήγησε σταθερά στα capital controls και την επικράτηση της τρόικας.

2ος Λόγος: Παράβαση καθήκοντος όταν παραβίασε το Άρθρο 4 του Καταστατικού της ΤτΕ [το οποίο ορίζει ότι «…η Τράπεζα στηρίζει τη γενική οικονομική πολιτική της Κυβέρνησης»] εισηγούμενος, όπως ο ίδιος ομολόγησε στην Επιτροπή Διαφάνειας και Θεσμών της Βουλής, στον πρόεδρο της ΕΚΤ «να μην ακούει» τον υπουργό Οικονομικών!

3ος Λόγος: Εποπτική ανεπάρκεια. Σύμφωνα με το ΣτΕ, η ΤτΕ αποτελεί διοικητική αρχή για την εποπτεία επί των πιστωτικών ιδρυμάτων και τον έλεγχο της πίστης. Η ανεξέλεγκτη κατάσταση με την Τράπεζα Αττικής, η ασυδοσία στον δανεισμό κομμάτων και καναλιών και η απόλυτη ανυπαρξία πλάνου διαχείρισης των «κόκκινων» δανείων που ακύρωσαν την τραπεζική πίστη συνιστούν ισχυρές αποδείξεις εποπτικής αποτυχίας.

4ος Λόγος: Επιστημονική ανεπάρκεια που συνυφαίνεται με εμπρηστικές δηλώσεις. Π.χ. η πρόσφατη πρόβλεψή του για ύφεση 4% το 2020 και βέβαια η αυτοπροβολή του ως «σωτήρα» της χώρας την ώρα που, παρά τον ρόλο του στην ανατροπή της αναδιάρθρωσης χρέους που απαίτησε ο ελληνικός λαός με το ΟΧΙ στο δημοψήφισμα του Ιουλίου 2015, και την εμμονή του για 3ο Μνημόνιο αντί για αναδιάρθρωση χρέους, ισχυρίζεται ότι το μνημονιακό δάνειο των 86 δις για το οποίο τόσο δούλεψε χέρι-χέρι με την τρόικα, βαραίνει τη διαπραγμάτευση της περιόδου Ιανουαρίου-Ιουνίου που στόχο είχε την αναδιάρθρωση χρέους ώστε να μην χρειαστεί εκείνο το δάνειο.

Για αυτούς τους λόγους, η Βουλή των Ελλήνων δεν δικαιούται παρά να απομακρύνει τον κ. Στουρνάρα από την Διοίκηση της ΤτΕ.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
