The neoliberal machine mocks Millennials and Gen Xers through a documentary about Bernie's awful mistreatment by the corporate media!

Now that the "Bernie Sanders" threat for the establishment has been neutralized (for a second time), the neoliberal machine is free to pretend that it cares about the truth.

Kyle Kulinski speaks about a new documentary by VICE about the media bias against Bernie Sanders. Although the doc trailer is pretty impressive, Kulinski starts with a pretty remarkable argument he saw on Twitter:

Credit to VICE. Thank you for this documentary. Curious how it released after Bernie dropped out.

Kulinski finds that the mainstream media still have enough power to neutralize an undesirable candidate, as they did with Bernie, despite the fact that most of the people don't trust them. He also explains the demographics of this year's race for the leadership of the Democratic party.

As he supports, Millennials and Gen Xers overwhelmingly supported Bernie Sanders against the Baby Boomers and the Silent Generation (in which Bernie actually belongs).

Therefore, we can say that this year's race was actually another indicator of the generational gap that grows in modern America.

The Baby Boomers and the Silent Generation demographic groups (much more conservative and vulnerable to any anti-Socialist propaganda), preferred the "safety" of the establishment through Biden against the "dangerous Socialist" Bernie. A label given to him by the corporate media.

However, the interesting part here is that even the corporate media know that they are losing the game of information. And the neoliberal machine has to offer a variety of new media outlets to the extremely skeptical younger generations who massively abandon the typical mainstream media networks.

These outlets are constructed with a superficial progressive profile in order to fit in the new media landscape, driven by the new generations' demand for real journalism. Yet, in many cases, their connections lead us back to the neocon/neoliberal machine that seeks to maintain complete control of the information flow.

Ben Norton describes VICE as the "hipster corporate media giant", and as he wrote in 2018, "VICE did paid propaganda for Saudi Arabia, according to a British report on Saudi astroturf efforts. [...] According to internal VICE sources contacted by The Guardian, the Brooklyn-based media company assembled a team to make pro-Saudi content in collaboration with the Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG), a regime mouthpiece that is closely linked to the royal family."

Recently, Norton exposed VICE's role, among other Western mainstream media, on the propagation of another fake story around the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his supposed death.

These outlets must earn the trust of the angry generations who are sicked of the mainstream media fake news and propaganda. They have to offer something in order to pull this growing audience away from the truly independent media. And they can do it, only when there is no danger to disturb establishment's neoliberal order.

VICE's new documentary about Bernie and the media war against him, doesn't say anything that we didn't already know. And it came out only after the establishment got rid of Bernie, one more time. No big deal. It's just another smokescreen by the establishment. And it's probably more than that. It's a mockery against Millennials and Gen Xers who, were screwed again by a brutal system.

Our guess is that these new media outlets that come straight from the heart of the "beast", will "reveal" the dirty plot against countries like Venezuela and Iran. But they will do it only after these countries will be invaded and destroyed by the Empire. Just like many mainstream media hypocrites did with the fake story about Iraq's WMDs, after the country had been invaded and destroyed, with the subsequent chaos prevailing in the entire Middle East.

Rule by the rich: Western governments are oligarchies, not democracies

Geopolitical Economy Report   Western governments claim to be models of democracy, and demonize their geopolitical adversaries as "authoritarian", but empirical evidence shows that the USA and European countries are oligarchies dominated by economic elites and large corporations. Billionaire Donald Trump is the perfect symbol of this, but he's by no means the only one. Ben Norton explains.
