“Με μια αιφνιδιαστική απόφαση η ΕΚΤ ανακοίνωσε το βράδυ της Τετάρτης ότι από την 11 Φεβρουαρίου δεν θα δέχεται ως ενέχυρα ελληνικά ομόλογα. Κι αυτό γιατί εκτιμά ότι υπό τις παρούσες συνθήκες δεν δείχνει να είναι εφικτή η ολοκλήρωση της αξιολόγησης του προγράμματος.”

“Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της ΕΚΤ αποφάσισε σήμερα να άρει την εξαίρεση (waiver) για τα αξιόγραφα που εκδίδονται ή έχουν την εγγύηση του ελληνικού δημοσίου.”

“Η απόφαση του Δ.Σ. βασίζεται στο γεγονός ότι δεν είναι αυτήν την στιγμή δυνατό να προβλεφθεί μια επιτυχημένη ολοκλήρωση της αξιολόγησης του προγράμματος και ευθυγραμμίζεται με τους υφιστάμενους κανόνες του ευρωσυστήματος.”

Ο βρόμικος ρόλος που θα έπαιζε η ΕΚΤ είχε προβλεφθεί με ακρίβεια ήδη από το 2012, όταν αποφασίστηκε η απεριόριστη αγορά κρατικών ομολόγων για τα κράτη της ευρωζώνης:

“Κατ’αντιστοιχία, η ΕΚΤ μετατρέπεται σε μια ανάλογη Fed επί Ευρωπαϊκού εδάφους, καθώς, θα 'εξυπηρετεί' τις προβληματικές οικονομίες που είναι αποκλεισμένες από τις αγορές ομολόγων, με το τύπωμα νέου χρήματος. Έτσι οι προβληματικές οικονομίες θα φορτώνονται με όλο και μεγαλύτερο χρέος το οποίο θα περνάει στα χέρια της ΕΚΤ, δηλαδή των μεγαλύτερων ιδιωτικών Ευρωπαϊκών τραπεζών που την ελέγχουν. Θα μπορούσε κάποιος να πει ότι αυτό δεν έχει και πολύ μεγάλη σημασία, αφού και πριν, τα κράτη ήταν χρεωμένα στις τράπεζες μέσω του υπέρογκου δανεισμού τους από τις αγορές. Όμως στην περίπτωση αυτή υπάρχει μια σημαντική διαφορά που κάνει τα πράγματα πολύ χειρότερα: είναι οι ανελέητοι όροι που επιβάλει η ΕΚΤ προς τα κράτη που θέλουν να αγοράσουν χρήμα. Τα κράτη που είναι αποκλεισμένα από τις αγορές, εγκλωβίζονται τώρα μέσα στην νεοφιλελεύθερη οικονομική αυτοκρατορία της ευρωζώνης και θα αναγκάζονται κάθε φορά να ακολουθούν νέα σκληρά μέτρα λιτότητας προκειμένου η ΕΚΤ να αγοράζει τα ομόλογά τους.” (http://failedevolution.blogspot.gr/2012/09/blog-post_8431.html)

Σε δεύτερη φάση, εφόσον η Ελλάδα συνεχίσει να προβάλει αντίσταση, το πιθανότερο είναι να διακοπεί και η χρηματοδότηση των τραπεζών μέσω του ELA, ώστε να κλείσει τελείως η κάνουλα της χρηματοδότησης και να προκληθεί πανικός στους Έλληνες καταθέτες, δηλαδή ένα τεχνητό στην ουσία bank run.

Η μάχη της Ελλάδας βρίσκεται σε μια κρίσιμη καμπή. Αν η Ελλάδα υποκύψει στους τραπεζίτες τότε θα ακολουθήσουν και οι υπόλοιποι.
