Είμαστε μαζί με την Ελλάδα και την Ευρώπη

Επιστολή υπέρ της Ελλάδας και της Ευρώπης συνυπογράφουν 300 διανοούμενοι από όλες τις χώρες του κόσμου. Την επιστολή δημοσιεύει η ιστοσελίδα mediapart.fr, συνιδρυτής της οποίας είναι ο πρώην διευθυντής του Monde, Έντι Πλενέλ.

Μέσω της ανοικτής επιστολής τους, οι διανοούμενοι καλούν τις ευρωπαϊκές κυβερνήσεις, την Τρόικα (Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή, ΕΚΤ και ΔΝΤ) «να σεβαστούν την απόφαση του ελληνικού λαού και να ξεκινήσουν με καλή πίστη τις διαπραγματεύσεις με τη νέα ελληνική κυβέρνηση για την επίλυση του θέματος του χρέους».

Με υπέρτιτλο στον πρόλογο της ιστοσελίδας: “Και ζήτω η Ελλάδα... Είμαστε όλοι μαζί με την Ελλάδα και την Ευρώπη” υπογραμμίζεται ότι οι υπογράφοντες είναι οικονομολόγοι και πανεπιστημιακοί από όλον τον κόσμο, ονόματα διάσημα όπως οι: Τζέιμς Γκάλμπρειθ, Στέφανι Γκρίφιθ Τζόουνς, Ζακ Σαπίρ, Ντομινίκ Μεντά κ.α.

Στην επιστολή υπογραμμίζεται ότι:

“Δικαίως η ελληνική κυβέρνηση υποστηρίζει ότι είναι αναγκαίος ένας εκ βάθρων επαναπροσανατολισμός, διότι οι πολιτικές που εφαρμόσθηκαν έως τώρα αποδείχθηκαν ένα απόλυτο φιάσκο. Δεν προσέφεραν ούτε την οικονομική ανάκαμψη, ούτε τη χρηματοπιστωτική σταθερότητα, ούτε την απασχόληση, αλλά ούτε καν τις εξωτερικές επενδύσεις. Αντίθετα αποδείχθηκαν επιζήμιες για την ελληνική κοινωνία και αποδυνάμωσαν τους θεσμούς. Η προσέγγιση που ακολουθήθηκε αποδείχθηκε ξεκάθαρα καταστροφική και δεν επέτρεψε καμία πρόοδο, για την οποία προοριζόταν.

Ζητούμε από τους ευρωπαϊκούς εταίρους να λάβουν υπ' όψιν τους αυτήν την πραγματικότητα, στην οποία άλλωστε οφείλεται και η εκλογή της νέας ελληνικής κυβέρνησης. Η Ελλάδα έχει ανάγκη από άμεσα ανθρωπιστικά μέτρα, έναν μεγαλύτερο κατώτατο μισθό, τη δημιουργία θέσεων απασχόλησης, επενδύσεων και μέτρων για τη διόρθωση και καλυτέρευση των βασικών υπηρεσιών όπως αυτών της Υγείας και της Παιδείας.”

Several states vow to take six 'concrete' steps against Israel at Bogota summit
