Σκοτώνουν τους Έλληνες ...

Το πολυαναμενόμενο βιβλίο του Φρεντερίκ Λορντόν – ενός από τους διανοούμενους που χαρακτηρίστηκαν σαν η ψυχή των κινητοποιήσεων του nuit debut στη Γαλλία – θα κυκλοφορήσει και στα ελληνικά την Τρίτη 21 Ιουνίου, από τις εκδόσεις Τόπος.

Το βιβλίο, με πρόλογο του δημοσιογράφου Π.Παπακωνσταντίνου και μετάφραση του πανεπιστημιακού Π.Σωτήρη, εξετάζει την επίθεση που δέχθηκε η Ελλάδα από την «Γερμανική Ευρώπη» και τη συντριβή του ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, την οποία ο συγγραφέας αποδίδει στη στρατηγική ατολμία και την άρνηση να αντιμετωπίσει τη ρήξη.

Το info-war.gr παρουσιάζει σήμερα ένα μικρό απόσπασμα από το εξαιρετικό βιβλίο που είχαμε την χαρά να διαβάσουμε στα γαλλικά.

… Αυτά όμως δεν λένε και πολλά σε σχέση με ό,τι πρέπει να ανακατακτηθεί και να ανοικοδομηθεί από την Αριστερά: η κυριαρχία, όχι σαν φυλαχτό αλλά ως συνθήκη δυνατότητας κάθε προοδευτικής πολιτικής. Γιατί, ας το επαναλάβουμε, η έξοδος από το ευρώ είναι πάντα μόνο μια αναγκαία συνθήκη και σίγουρα όχι ικανή. Μπορούμε να βγούμε από το ευρώ με πολλούς τρόπους και από πολλές πλευρές – που δεν αξίζουν καθόλου.

Μέσα σε ένα σύνδρομο ασύνειδης αυτοπραγμάτωσης, η ευρωπαϊστική Αριστερά φαίνεται να καταβάλει κάθε προσπάθεια ώστε να μη μείνει ανοιχτή παρά μόνο η πλευρά της άκρας Δεξιάς, ως εάν να προσπαθεί να δώσει περισσότερα δίκια στον εαυτό της και να μπορεί καλύτερα να ισχυριστεί μετά ότι η έξοδος από το ευρώ «είναι εθνικισμός». Εάν έχουν έτσι τα πράγματα, δεν προσφέρει ακριβώς υπηρεσία, ούτε σε όλους όσους εναποθέτουν τις ελπίδες τους σε αυτήν.

Η αλήθεια είναι πως, από τη στιγμή που αποφάσισε να στρατοπεδεύσει με πείσμα στη γραμμή του «άλλου ευρώ», δεν προσφέρει μεγάλη υπηρεσία σε πολλούς. Καθώς όμως οι δυνάμεις ανάλυσης είναι αδύναμες –δεν υπάρχει μια ενδοφυής δύναμη των αληθινών ιδεών, κατά τον Μπουρντιέ– και η σαφήνεια του ρεαλισμού δεν είναι το ισχυρό σημείο αυτής της Αριστεράς, έπρεπε να φτάσουμε στα άκρα του θεάματος σε πλήρες μεγαλείο, στη θέα μιας αυταπάτης που κατέρρευσε, μιας ριζικής αδυνατότητας κατοχυρωμένης ωστόσο ως προς τον ειδικό ρόλο εκεί ενός κράτους-μέλους, τελικά της θυσίας ενός ολόκληρου λαού, ώστε να αρχίσουν να γίνονται αισθητές κάποιες ταλαντεύσεις. Αλλά πόσος καιρός χάθηκε…

Όπως ποτέ δεν χρησίμευσε το κλάμα πάνω απ’ το χυμένο γάλα, ας ξεχάσουμε καλύτερα τον καιρό που χάθηκε και ας αναλογιστούμε περισσότερο τι να κάνουμε τον καιρό που έρχεται. Ακόμη κι αν δεν το γνωρίζει προς το παρόν, το ευρωπαϊκό οικοδόμημα είναι νεκρό. Δεν μπορεί να επιβιώσει από τέτοιο αίσχος.

Το πεπρωμένο της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης είναι σήμερα αυτό εγχειρημάτων τα οποία έγιναν μισητά: αναμένεται πια η ανατροπή της. Άραγε θα πρέπει και πάλι να κάνουμε υπομονή μέχρι την πλήρη καταστροφή ώστε η ευρωπαϊστική Αριστερά να αναρωτηθεί σοβαρά πάνω στο πείσμα που θα την οδηγήσει στη σύνδεσή της με ένα ιστορικό λάθος τέτοιας μορφής, κι ας έχει το επίθετο «εναλλακτικός» το οποίο αποδείχθηκε ότι δεν θα αλλάξει τίποτα;

Δεν είναι μια άλλη εκδοχή του ίδιου που πρέπει να στοχαστούμε, είναι το εντελώς «άλλο», τελεία και παύλα και για καλό λόγο. Ιδού σε τι θα έπρεπε να εξυπηρετήσει ο μελλούμενος καιρός τις διάφορες παραλλαγές της Αριστεράς στην Ευρώπη: να απαλλαγούν επιτέλους από την υποθήκη του ευρώ, να σκεφτούν από κοινού αυτό που με αλληλοβοήθεια μπορούν να καταφέρουν. Οι μεν πρέπει να υποστηρίξουν τους άλλους σε ό,τι η εκάστοτε συγκυρία θα τους επιτρέψει να θέσουν ανεξάρτητα σε κίνηση, κι οι άλλοι θα βοηθήσουν με τη σειρά τους τούς πρώτους να επιταχύνουν τις δικές τους εξελίξεις – συγκεκριμένες μορφές αλληλεγγύης σε μια κίνηση συνόλου αναγκαστικά με κακό συγχρονισμό, όπου όμως τα αποτελέσματα μάθησης μέσα από τη μίμηση θα παράγουν πραγματικά αποτελέσματα, στον αντίποδα των μεγάλων φανταστικών συντονισμών του αφηρημένου διεθνισμού.

Ιδού τι είναι ένας θετικός διεθνισμός, δηλαδή όχι πλήρως παραδομένος σε επιτηδευμένες στάσεις ούτε αμνήμων του πραγματικού, ένας διεθνισμός που θα μπορούσε ακόμη, εάν το θέλει, να βρει το νόημά του στην επιστροφή στα εθνικά νομίσματα σαν νέα αφετηρία προς την ανακατασκευή ενός νομίσματος όχι πλέον ενιαίου αλλά κοινού• ένας διεθνισμός στον οποίο θα πρέπει επίσης να εξηγήσουμε ότι, εφόσον και εάν δεν έχει πλήρως παραδοθεί στον οικονομισμό, θα μπορούσε να καλλιεργήσει την ιδέα να βρει την πραγμάτωσή του αλλού από την τάξη του νομίσματος, ακόμη κι αν αυτό είναι ευρωπαϊκό…

Με αφορμή τη δική του κατάσταση, αυτή ενός πολίτη του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου, όπου κανείς αντιμετωπίζει πιο ξεκάθαρα το ερώτημα της ένταξης όχι στην Ευρωζώνη αλλά στην ίδια την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, ο Όουεν Τζόουνς σε ένα άρθρο στον Guardian εισάγει μια ιδέα που θα μπορούσε να έχει ένα κάποιο μέλλον: την ιδέα του Lexit (Left-Exit). Δεν είναι πια μια χώρα που πρέπει να οδηγήσουμε έξω από το ευρώ: είναι η ίδια η Αριστερά.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
