Λαφαζάνης: Καλούμε τους πολίτες να κλείσουν τα αυτιά τους στην τρομοκρατία κατά του εθνικού νομίσματος


Μιλώντας στα πλαίσια της φετινής Διεθνούς Έκθεσης Θεσσαλονίκης, ο πρόεδρος της Λαϊκής Ενότητας, Παναγιώτης Λαφαζάνης, έδωσε ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στη σημασία του εθνικού νομίσματος, προκειμένου η χώρα να ξεφύγει από την καταστροφική πορεία των μνημονίων και να μπορέσει να σταθεί και πάλι στα πόδια της.

Κάλεσε τους πολίτες να κλείσουν τα αυτιά τους στην τρομοκρατία κατά του εθνικού νομίσματος, ενώ τόνισε πως απαιτείται η συγκρότηση μιας Εθνικής, υπό εθνικό έλεγχο, Κεντρικής Τράπεζας και η αποκατάσταση της νομισματικής κυριαρχίας της χώρας.

Σχετικά με το δημόσιο χρέος, τόνισε ότι η Ελλάδα χρησιμοποιείται ως αποικία με πρόσχημα το χρέος της. Το υπέρογκο δημόσιο χρέος είναι ένα χρέος επονείδιστο, απεχθές, εν πολλοίς παράνομο και κυρίως, είναι ένα χρέος μη βιώσιμο. Η Ελλάδα δεν μπορεί να αποπληρώσει αυτό το χρέος, χωρίς να εξοντωθεί ο ελληνικός λαός. Πολύ περισσότερο όταν αυτό το χρέος αυξάνει αντί να μειώνεται με τα μνημονιακά προγράμματα.

Δήλωσε επίσης, ότι η Λαϊκή Ενότητα υψώνει το αίτημα της διαγραφής ενός άδικου και εξοντωτικού χρέους, καθώς δεν υπάρχει καμιά άλλη λύση και είναι η μόνη δυνατή.

Ορισμένα σημεία της ομιλίας:

  • ... η ΔΕΘ πάει να καταγραφεί, αν δεν έχει ήδη καταγραφεί, ως ένας χώρος πολιτικού ψεύδους και πολιτικής εξαπάτησης του ελληνικού λαού. Η ΔΕΘ πάει να καθιερωθεί ως το ραντεβού που δίνουν κάθε Σεπτέμβρη οι πολιτικοί αρχηγοί με την κοροϊδία, την παραπλάνηση και την απάτη, προκειμένου να γίνουν πρωθυπουργοί ή για να παραμείνουν στον πρωθυπουργικό θώκο.

  • Η μετάλλαξη του Τσίπρα είναι πλήρης. Από την άλλη ο Κυρ. Μητσοτάκης έφτασε τις προάλλες σε τέτοιο σημείο εθελοδουλίας, ώστε να ζητάει από τον Τσίπρα να παραιτηθεί, αν δεν θέλει, τάχα, να εφαρμόσει ταχύτατα τα προαπαιτούμενα του μνημονίου. Το ότι η Ελλάδα έχει ένα νεομνημονιακό πρωθυπουργό που λέει με τη μεγαλύτερη ευκολία ψέμματα, όπως τον Τσίπρα, και ένα αρχηγό αξιωματικής αντιπολίτευσης αδίστακτα νεοφιλελεύθερο και ορκισμένο μνημονιοφύλακα, τον Κυριάκο Μητσοτάκη, συνιστά δυστύχημα και κατάντημα για τη χώρα.

  • Η ακύρωση των μνημονίων και της λιτότητας απαιτεί την έξοδο της χώρας μας από τη γερμανική φυλακή της ευρωζώνης. Απαιτεί το πέρασμα από το ευρώ στο εθνικό νόμισμα. Απαιτεί τη συγκρότηση μιας Εθνικής, υπό εθνικό έλεγχο, Κεντρικής Τράπεζας και την αποκατάσταση της νομισματικής μας κυριαρχίας, που συνιστά ένα πρώτο μεγάλο βήμα για την απόκτηση της εθνικής μας ανεξαρτησίας. Απαιτεί τη διαμόρφωση μιας εθνικής νομισματικής πολιτικής, η οποία πρέπει να υπηρετεί αποκλειστικά και μόνο την ανάπτυξη, την παραγωγική ανασυγκρότηση, την πλήρη απασχόληση και μια κοινωνικά δίκαιη Ελλάδα.

  • Το εθνικό νόμισμα, στη βάση ενός ριζοσπαστικού προγράμματος ρήξης με τα νεοφιλελεύθερα δεσμά της ΕΕ, είναι έτσι και αλλιώς αναγκαίο για τη χώρα μας. Είναι αναγκαίο γιατί η Ελλάδα μέσα στην ευρωζώνη δεν μπορεί να αντιμετωπίσει τον άνισο αγοραίο ανταγωνισμό με οικονομίες πιο ισχυρές, που διαθέτουν πολύ υψηλότερη παραγωγικότητα. Πολύ περισσότερο, η επιλογή του εθνικού νομίσματος, σε συνδυασμό με ένα ριζοσπαστικό προοδευτικό πρόγραμμα, γίνεται θέμα ζωής και θανάτου για τη χώρα, προκειμένου να σπάσουμε τον φαύλο κύκλο της ύφεσης, να δώσουμε πνοή στην οικονομία και να προωθήσουμε ένα νέο οικονομικοκοινωνικό αναπτυξιακό πρότυπο με παραγωγικά, κοινωνικά και οικολογικά χαρακτηριστικά.

  • Καλούμε τους πολίτες να κλείσουν τα αυτιά τους στην τρομοκρατία κατά του εθνικού νομίσματος. Να αντισταθούν στην απαγόρευση και το τείχος που τα κατεστημένα κέντρα υψώνουν στη σχετική συζήτηση. Η πρότασή μας για το εθνικό νόμισμα είναι μια βιώσιμη και ρεαλιστική επιλογή που δεν αφορά την επιστροφή στο παρελθόν ή την εγκαθίδρυση ενός νεοφιλελευθερισμού με εθνικά χρώματα και πολύ περισσότερο την απομόνωση της χώρας μας.

  • Για μας το εθνικό νόμισμα είναι θεμελιώδης αφετηρία για να μπορέσουμε να εφαρμόσουμε ένα ριζοσπαστικό πρόγραμμα ανάσας του λαού, διεξόδου για την οικονομία και νέου αναπτυξιακού προτύπου. Για μας το εθνικό νόμισμα συνιστά εργαλείο για να σταματήσουμε την ταφόπλακα ρευστότητας στη χώρα και να εγκαινιάσουμε μια νέου τύπου ισχυρή, με ευνοϊκότατους όρους χρηματοδότηση της οικονομίας, με πολύ μικρά, ελάχιστα επιτόκια. Εργαλείο για να αρχίσει μια επενδυτική παραγωγική άνοιξη στην Ελλάδα απέναντι στο σημερινό αποεπενδυτικό κατήφορο. Για εμάς το εθνικό νόμισμα είναι το μέσο για να διπλασιάσουμε, τουλάχιστον, το πρόγραμμα δημοσίων επενδύσεων και να το αναπροσανατολίσουμε σε παραγωγική κατεύθυνση. Είναι το μέσο για να χρηματοδοτηθούν πλατιά με πολύ μικρά, ελάχιστα επιτόκια οι μικρομεσαίες επιχειρήσεις, τα μικρομεσαία επαγγελματικά στρώματα και η μικρομεσαία αγροτιά, με ουσιαστικό έλεγχο για την τήρηση των εργασιακών σχέσεων και τη διεύρυνση των θέσεων εργασίας.

  • Το εθνικό νόμισμα, επίσης, στα χέρια μιας πραγματικά αριστερής λαϊκής κυβέρνησης μπορεί να γίνει το όχημα, μαζί με μια ριζοσπαστική δίκαιη και αναπτυξιακή φορολογική μεταρρύθμιση, για να βγουν από το βαθύ τέλμα και να αναζωογονηθούν η δημόσια δωρεάν παιδεία και η δημόσια δωρεάν καθολική υγεία για όλους, με νέες προσλήψεις σταθερής εργασίας, αναβάθμιση των υποδομών τους και δημοκρατική αλλαγή του προσανατολισμού τους.

  • Η Ελλάδα χρησιμοποιείται ως αποικία με πρόσχημα το χρέος της. Το υπέρογκο δημόσιο χρέος είναι ένα χρέος επονείδιστο, απεχθές, εν πολλοίς παράνομο και κυρίως είναι ένα χρέος μη βιώσιμο. Η Ελλάδα δεν μπορεί να αποπληρώσει αυτό το χρέος, χωρίς να εξοντωθεί ο ελληνικός λαός. Πολύ περισσότερο που αυτό το χρέος αυξάνει αντί να μειώνεται με τα μνημονιακά προγράμματα.

  • Η ΛΑ.Ε υψώνει το αίτημα της διαγραφής ενός άδικου και εξοντωτικού χρέους. Δεν υπάρχει καμιά άλλη λύση και είναι η μόνη δυνατή. Όσο καθυστερούμε, όσο διστάζουμε τα πράγματα γίνονται πολύ χειρότερα για τον τόπο. Η Ελλάδα δεν είναι η πρώτη, ούτε η μόνη χώρα που έχει φτάσει σε ένα τέτοιο σημείο υπερχρέωσης. Παντού και πάντα ο γόρδιος δεσμός του μη βιώσιμου χρέους λύθηκε με το σπαθί. Δηλαδή με τη διαγραφή του χρέους, ή τουλάχιστον με τη διαγραφή του μεγαλύτερου μέρους του. Αυτός είναι ένας πρόσθετος λόγος που η Ελλάδα χρειάζεται εθνικό νόμισμα. Διότι με εθνικό νόμισμα μπορούμε να αποθαρρύνουμε και να αντιμετωπίσουμε τυχόν εκβιασμούς και πιέσεις από τη διακοπή αποπληρωμής του χρέους και να ενθαρρύνουμε τις διαδικασίες απάλειψής του.

  • Ο τόπος δεν έχει ανάγκη από τράπεζες που βουλιάζουν τη χώρα και απομυζούν τους πόρους της κοινωνίας, αντί να χρηματοδοτούν την οικονομία. Η Ελλάδα αυτό που χρειάζεται είναι εθνικοποιημένες και υπό κοινωνικό έλεγχο τράπεζες που θα επιτελούν αποκλειστικά αναπτυξιακό, επενδυτικό, παραγωγικό και κοινωνικό ρόλο για την διέξοδο από την κρίση, την ανασυγκρότηση της χώρας και την κοινωνική δικαιοσύνη.

  • ... η χώρα μας λόγω και της μνημονιακής πίεσης έχει πλέον ένα εξισορροπημένο έως πλεονασματικό ισοζύγιο πληρωμών. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι μπορούμε να πληρώνουμε με δικούς μας συναλλαγματικούς πόρους όλες τις εισαγωγικές ανάγκες της χώρας, ακόμα και για είδη υπερπολυτελείας που δεν είναι αναγκαία για την πολύ μεγάλη πλειοψηφία του ελληνικού λαού. Όπως σημαίνει επίσης ότι δεν θα υπάρξει ιδιαίτερη πίεση στο εθνικό μας νόμισμα, κάτι που συμβαίνει μόνο σε χώρες με εξωτερικές ανισορροπίες που αναγκάζονται να τις καλύπτουν με μεγάλο εξωτερικό δανεισμό. Θα συνιστούσαμε, λοιπόν, περισσότερη προσοχή και περισσότερο προβληματισμό πριν αποδεχθούμε εύκολα καταστροφολογικές θεωρίες.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on. Her piece is an incomplete depiction of what is happening on the ground, ignoring many salient facts that have come to light and which have been outdated by recent events.
