Δηλητηριασμένη οδοντόκρεμα που σε έναν μήνα μπορεί να βάλει τέλος στη ζωή του στόχου. Ένοπλα drones. Κινητά τηλέφωνα - βόμβες. Ρεζέρβες - βόμβες που ενεργοποιούνται με τηλεχειριστήριο από μακριά. Δολοφονίες επιστημόνων που ανήκουν στις τάξεις του εχθρού.

Με αυτές και άλλες τεχνικές, το Ισραήλ έχει πραγματοποιήσει τουλάχιστον 2.700 επιχειρήσεις δολοφονίας στα 70 χρόνια της ύπαρξής του, όπως περιγράφει στο βιβλίο του ο Ρόνεν Μπέργκμαν. Στόχοι ήταν κυρίως Παλαιστίνιοι, Αιγύπτιοι, Σύροι, Ιρανοί και άλλοι.

Παρόλο που πολλές απέτυχαν, οι στοχευμένες επιθέσεις δολοφονίας που εξαπέλυσε το Ισραήλ είναι πολύ περισσότερες από οποιαδήποτε άλλης δυτικής χώρας χρησιμοποιεί τέτοιες πρακτικές. Ο Μπέργκμαν ονομάζει το Ισραήλ «την πιο ισχυρή, σύγχρονη, δολοφονική μηχανή στην ιστορία».

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
