Μάρτυρας στο σκάνδαλο Novartis κάνει αυτοκριτική και αποκαλύπτει το μεγάλο πάρτι ...

Μου πήρε επτά περίπου χρόνια να καταλάβω ότι ανήκα σε μια μοναδική κατηγορία Ελλήνων. Σε εκείνους που, τινάζοντας τα ασφαλιστικά ταμεία στον αέρα, περισσότερο ακόμη και από το PSI, καταφέραμε να ληστέψουμε τρεις ολόκληρες γενιές. Και το κάναμε με τόσο ζήλο και τόσο συνειδητά, που η κανονικότητα μας έφερνε αναγούλα και την ξορκίζαμε σα να ήταν ο χειρότερος εφιάλτης μας.

Αρνούμασταν να πιστέψουμε ότι υπήρχε ζωή χωρίς μισθάρες, μπόνους, εταιρικά αυτοκίνητα, τζάμπα ιδιωτικές ασφάλειες, ταξίδια, γκόμενες και διασκέδαση. Και όλα αυτά, με τα πελατάκια μας, γιατρούς, καθηγητές, πολιτικούς, και άλλους αξιωματούχους, να μας βαράνε παλαμάκια, τις μέρες στα συνέδρια και τις νύχτες στα κλαμπ και τα μπουζουκτσίδικα.

Μέχρι που ήρθε το 2011 και εμφανίστηκαν οι ... καθαρίστριες.

Θυμάμαι ακόμη, σαν χθες, τα πρώτα μνημονιακά meetings, όπου το σύστημα Φρουζή της Novartis μας ανακοίνωνε τα κακά μαντάτα. Με εκείνες τις τεράστιες γιγαντοοθόνες, που μέσα στο σκοτάδι της αίθουσας μας έκαναν τα απαραίτητα ηλεκτροσόκ της προσαρμογής στη νέα, σκληρή πραγματικότητα που μας περίμενε, μέσα κι έξω από την εταιρεία.

Καταιγίδες, κεραυνοί, σεισμοί, λοιμοί και καταποντισμοί. Και μετά μαύρο. Και μόλις τα φώτα της αίθουσας άναβαν, εμφανιζόταν ο μεγάλος για να μας επαναλάβει, κάθε φορά, ότι, το υπερθέαμα που παρακολουθούσαμε έντρομοι στην γιγαντοοθόνη, δεν ήταν τίποτε άλλο από την καθημερινότητα των μνημονίων που βίωναν οι άλλοι, οι μη προνομιούχοι Έλληνες, τα κορόιδα που ζούσαν έξω από την εταιρεία. Και που θα μπορούσε, ανά πάσα στιγμή, να γίνει και η δική μας καθημερινότητα, αν δεν αντιλαμβανόμασταν την πραγματικότητα και δεν καταφέρναμε να προσαρμοστούμε στα νέα, μνημονιακά δεδομένα της αγοράς και της εταιρείας.

Τότε μάθαμε για πρώτη φορά ότι έπρεπε να συνηθίσουμε να ζούμε με τον φόβο της καθαρίστριας. Όχι επειδή ο εντεταλμένος από την Ελβετία έβρισκε την αίθουσα βρώμικη ή ακατάστατη. Αλλά επειδή, απλά, μας ανακοίνωσε ότι, εφεξής, σε κάθε μάζωξη, επειδή θα χυνόταν αίμα, έπρεπε αναγκαστικά να βρίσκονται σε ετοιμότητα οι καθαρίστριες. Για να καθαρίζουν το αίμα που θα έρρεε στα πατώματα από τις απολύσεις των συναδέλφων μας, που θάβλεπαν, κάθε φορά, σε κάθε επόμενη μάζωξη, την πόρτα της εξόδου. Έτσι, για να σφίγγουν οι κώλοι οι δικοί μας, που είχαμε την τύχη να την γλυτώνουμε και να μπορούμε, κάθε φορά, να δίνουμε το παρόν στο επόμενο meeting.

Μέχρι φυσικά που νάρθει και η δική μας σειρά. Αυτό, ευτυχώς, δεν μας πήρε πολύ καιρό για να το καταλάβουμε.

Ζούσαμε πλέον σε μια νέα, πρωτόγνωρη πραγματικότητα.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
