Μετά το ξέσπασμα του σκανδάλου Novartis η Νέα Δημοκρατία μοιάζει να βρίσκεται σε κατάσταση νευρικής κρίσης. Η εντύπωση που δίνει το κόμμα της αξιωματικής αντιπολίτευσης είναι ότι προσπαθεί απελπισμένα να πιαστεί από οπουδήποτε για να αντεπιτεθεί και να αποπροσανατολίσει. Οποιοδήποτε γεγονός φαίνεται ότι προσφέρεται για αντιπολιτευτικούς ελιγμούς.

Μοιραία, ο Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης επιχείρησε να εκμεταλλευτεί το τελευταίο, εξαιρετικά σοβαρό επεισόδιο στα Ίμια, προϊόν της μόνιμης Τουρκικής προκλητικότητας, κατηγορώντας την κυβέρνηση για ατολμία, αναποφασιστικότητα και εν ολίγοις για λάθος χειρισμούς. Προσπάθησε να πείσει ότι ο Τσίπρας δεν έχει το ειδικό βάρος για να χειριστεί τέτοια ζητήματα.

Γενικότερα, ο Μητσοτάκης προσπάθησε να εκμεταλλευτεί την διαχρονική, παραδοσιακή και αυθαίρετη ταύτιση της Δεξιάς με τον πατριωτισμό στην Ελληνική πραγματικότητα, πράγμα που, ειδικά σήμερα, είναι περισσότερο αναληθές από ποτέ, καθώς η λαϊκή Δεξιά έχει πλήρως καταληφθεί από τη νεοφιλελεύθερη ιδεολογία.

Το εγχώριο νεοφιλελεύθερο ιερατείο έσπευσε να κατασκευάσει θεωρίες συνωμοσίας, υπονοώντας ότι η χρονική στιγμή της αποκάλυψης του σκανδάλου Novartis δεν ήταν καθόλου τυχαία. Ίσως το πιο αστείο στην όλη υπόθεση είναι το γεγονός ότι όταν η Αριστερά μιλάει για σκευωρίες και προβοκάτσιες εναντίον της, οι νεοφιλελεύθεροι 'ορθολογιστές' την κατηγορούν ακριβώς για το ίδιο πράγμα: ότι κατασκευάζει θεωρίες συνωμοσίας.

Αυτό φυσικά δεν σημαίνει ότι ο Τσίπρας δεν θα εκμεταλλεύονταν πολιτικά το ξέσπασμα του σκανδάλου, τη στιγμή μάλιστα που ετοιμάζεται να εφαρμόσει νέες, προσυμφωνημένες με την τρόικα, περικοπές. Αλλά το ίδιο θα έκανε κάθε κυβέρνηση που θα έπαιρνε τέτοια αντιλαϊκά μέτρα, με τη δημοτικότητα της να κινδυνεύει να καταποντιστεί.

Καταρχήν, είναι θλιβερό το γεγονός ότι αν δεν γινόταν έρευνα από το FBI, το πιθανότερο είναι να μη γινόταν τέτοιου βαθμού αποκαλύψεις με πρωτοβουλία της Ελλάδας. Πράγμα που δείχνει την αδυναμία των αρμόδιων μηχανισμών να ξεκινήσουν έρευνες για τόσο μεγάλα σκάνδαλα, στις περισσότερες περιπτώσεις. Η χρονική αποκάλυψη του σκανδάλου μάλλον δεν έχει τόση σημασία. Απλώς ήρθε η ώρα να αποκαλυφθεί. Το ερώτημα είναι γιατί οι Αμερικανικές αρχές επέλεξαν να δώσουν τόσες πληροφορίες στις Ελληνικές.

Καταρχήν το FBI δεν είναι κάποια αθώα υπηρεσία υπεράνω πάσης υποψίας που κόπτεται για το σωστό και το δίκαιο. Ενεργεί με βάση τα συμφέροντα των ΗΠΑ που, όπως γνωρίζουμε, είναι άρρηκτα συνδεδεμένα με τα συμφέροντα των μεγάλων Αμερικανικών εταιριών.

Εδώ και αρκετό καιρό έχει ξεσπάσει ένας οικονομικός πόλεμος κυρίως μεταξύ των Αμερικανικών και των Γερμανικών μεγάλων εταιριών, καθώς η Γερμανία επιταχύνει τις προσπάθειές της να αυτονομηθεί από την Αμερικανική κηδεμονία, επιχειρώντας να χτίσει τον δικό της πόλο, μέσα από τις δικές της σφαίρες επιρροής επί Ευρωπαϊκού εδάφους, ακόμα και σε στρατιωτικό επίπεδο. Ήταν θέμα χρόνου οι Αμερικανοί να επιτεθούν σε πολυεθνικές που εδρεύουν σε Ευρωπαϊκό έδαφος, στην προσπάθειά τους να διατηρήσουν ή να επεκτείνουν την κυριαρχία τους στην Ευρωπαϊκή αγορά.

Η περίπτωση της Novartis και ειδικότερα όσον αφορά τη δραστηριότητά της στην Ελλάδα αποδείχθηκε ότι έχει ιδιαίτερη βαρύτητα, καθώς, όπως αποκαλύφθηκε, η Ελλάδα καθιερώθηκε ως χώρα στρατηγικής σημασίας για τον καθορισμό της τιμής των φαρμάκων στην Ευρώπη. Αυτό το γεγονός δίνει μια λογικότερη εξήγηση του γιατί οι Αμερικανοί επέλεξαν να δώσουν τόσες πολλές πληροφορίες στις Ελληνικές αρχές. Προφανώς για να επιφέρουν ένα στρατηγικό πλήγμα έναντι ενός μεγάλου ανταγωνιστή των δικών τους φαρμακοβιομηχανιών.

Έτσι, ο πανικός της Δεξιάς είναι δικαιολογημένος, καθώς αντιλαμβάνεται ότι οι Αμερικανοί ομοϊδεάτες της δεν είναι διατεθειμένοι να την προστατεύσουν, θυσιάζοντας τα δικά τους συμφέροντα, έστω και αν τη θεωρούν την καλύτερη εφεδρεία για να αντικαταστήσει την κυβέρνηση Τσίπρα.

Άλλωστε, βλέπουν ότι ο Τσίπρας μέχρι στιγμής είναι καλό και υπάκουο παιδί που φροντίζει να δίνει τα διαπιστευτήρια του, γέρνοντας υπερβολικά προς το Δυτικό άρμα. Μια στάση όμως που μπορεί να αποδειχθεί ιδιαίτερα επικίνδυνη καθώς στερεί στη χώρα τη δυνατότητα να κινηθεί με ευελιξία, προκειμένου να μη μείνει ουραγός στην κούρσα των παγκόσμιων και ραγδαίων γεωπολιτικών ανακατατάξεων.
