Ευχαριστώ και αυτούς που συμπαραστέκονται και αυτούς που δεν μιλάνε

Η Ελλάδα είναι μια από τις 56 χώρες του Οργανισμού για την Ασφάλεια και τη Συνεργασία στην Ευρώπη (ΟΑΣΕ). Αντικείμενο του ΟΑΣΕ είναι ο έλεγχος για τη διακίνηση όπλων, τα ανθρώπινα Δικαιώματα, η Ελευθερία του Τύπου και η διεξαγωγή ελεύθερων και δίκαιων εκλογών. Δύο φορές ως σήμερα η Ντούνια Μιγιάτοβιτς, υπεύθυνη για θέματα Ελευθερίας του Τύπου στον ΟΑΣΕ, έβγαλε ανακοινώσεις που με αφορούν προσωπικά. Η πρώτη ήταν όταν με συνέλαβαν και διώχθηκα για τη λίστα Λαγκάρντ και η δεύτερη στις 8 Απριλίου, όταν έγινε γνωστή στον ΟΑΣΑ η απόφαση του δικαστηρίου που με καταδικάζει σε 26 μήνες φυλάκιση μετά από μήνυση του Βγενόπουλου.

"Η απόφαση καταδίκης του Βαξεβάνη, έχει μια ανατριχιαστική επίδραση στην ελευθερία του Τύπου” γράφει η Ντούνια Μιγιάτοβιτς, για την οποία είναι αδιανόητο να καταδικάζεται δημοσιογράφος ο οποίος δημοσίευσε έρευνα για τις τραπεζικές τακτικές βασισμένη σε επίσημα έγγραφα (εδώ η ανακοίνωση).

Η ενασχόληση του ΟΑΣΕ δύο φορές με το πρόσωπό μου, είναι αναμφίβολα μια τιμή για μένα και μια διαβεβαίωση πως δεν είμαι μόνος με τη δημοσιογραφική μου ομάδα σε αυτό τον πόλεμο στον οποίο πολλές φορές με δυσκολία αντιλαμβανόμαστε ποιοί είναι οι εχθροί και ποιοί οι φίλοι.

Θα πω για μια φορά ακόμη αυτό που όλοι αντιλαμβάνονται: όσο και να προσπαθούμε να δικαιολογήσουμε ή να εφεύρουμε τη Δικαιοσύνη με φαντασιακά σχήματα του τύπου “έχω εμπιστοσύνη στη Δικαιοσύνη”, Δικαιοσύνη στην Ελλάδα δεν υπάρχει. Υπάρχουν μόνο καλοί και τίμιοι δικαστές και εισαγγελείς. Αν υπήρχε και Δικαιοσύνη στο σύνολό της, η Ελλάδα θα ήταν διαφορετική, δηλαδή λιγότερο διεφθαρμένη και με τον κόσμο να εμπιστεύεται τους θεσμούς και όσους τους εκπροσωπούν.

Η ευαισθησία του ΟΑΣΕ αλλά και συναδέλφων από όλο τον κόσμο που για μια ακόμη φορά στέκονται στο πλευρό μου είναι συγκινητική αλλά έχει και μια πίκρα γιατί εκθέτει τους θεσμούς και τα θεσμικά όργανα στην Ελλάδα. Είτε αυτά λέγονται δημοσιογραφικές ενώσεις, είτε λέγονται φορείς απονομής της Δικαιοσύνης, είτε λέγεται Υπουργείο Δικαιοσύνης, είτε βουλευτές, κόμματα και κυβέρνηση .

Το να ταχθείς με το μέρος της ελευθερίας του Τύπου και να σχολιάσεις έστω το πασιφανές, πως ο Γιώργος Παπακωνσταντίνου παρότι επίορκος υπουργός καταδικάστηκε με 12 μήνες φυλακή αλλά εγώ με 26 μήνες, δεν είναι παρέμβαση στη παθογενή έτσι κι αλλιώς Δικαιοσύνη, αλλά απλή λογική.

Το θέμα της Ελευθερίας του Τύπου δεν είναι άσχετο με την κατάσταση της διαπλοκής και της διαφθοράς στην Ελλάδα. Απαρχαιωμένοι αντιδραστικοί νόμοι και ακόμη πιο συντηρητικοί δικαστές, αποτελούν την εφεδρεία του συστήματος της διαπλοκής, το οποίο έχει ως βασικό του εχθρό την πραγματική δημοσιογραφία. Δύο παραδικαστικά στην Ελλάδα, αποδεικνύουν αυτό που λέω και που όλοι βλέπουν.

Η Ελευθερία του Τύπου, δεν ορίζεται από την απόφαση ή την τρέλα κάποιου δημοσιογράφου να λέει αυτό που πιστεύει και να δημοσιεύει με ρίσκο την αλήθεια, αλλά συνολικά από το περιβάλλον ελευθερίας στο οποίο μπορούν να δρουν όλοι οι δημοσιογράφοι. Τέτοιο στην Ελλάδα δεν υπάρχει. Όταν η ελεύθερη και ανεξάρτητη δημοσιογραφία καταφέρει να σπάσει το κέλυφος, τότε αναλαμβάνουν τα δικαστήρια.

Γνωρίζω πως πολλές φορές οι συμπάθειες και οι αντιπάθειες, η δειλία και ο ωχαδερφισμός, το ίδιο το περιβάλλον στο οποίο ζούμε και (το χειρότερο) έχουμε συνηθίσει, βγάζουν την προσπάθεια για εξυγίανση της χώρας και του Τύπου απ’ το οπτικό πεδίο των περισσότερων ανθρώπων. Πολλοί με χαιρεκακία μπορεί να λένε “τα ήθελε και τα έπαθε” ,ή ξαφνικά να ανακαλύπτουν το άβατο της Δικαιοσύνης και να την προσκυνούν μόνο και μόνο γιατί με καταδίκασε. Θεωρώ ακόμη και αυτή την πλευρά ανθρώπινη, αλλά να θυμίσω πως όταν ένα δικαίωμα απειλείται, απειλείται για όλους.

Για τους επαγγελματίες μικρόψυχους θα θυμίσω μόνο τη φράση του Άλμπερτ Καμύ: «Μια από τις χειρότερες αιτίες εχθρότητας είναι η λύσσα κ η ποταπή επιθυμία να δεις να υποκύπτει, αυτός που τολμάει ν αντιστέκεται σ’ αυτό που σε συνθλίβει»

Ευχαριστώ και αυτούς που συμπαραστέκονται αλλά και αυτούς που δεν το κάνουν. Οι πρώτοι αλλάζουν τον κόσμο. Οι δεύτεροι δείχνουν πως είναι αναγκαίο.
