Το Brexit θα ήταν ένα αποφασιστικό χτύπημα ενάντια στη νέα Φεουδαρχία

... αλλά φαίνεται ότι η Αριστερά δεν μπορεί να το καταλάβει

του system failure

Μετά από 41 χρόνια, οι Βρετανοί καλούνται να αποφασίσουν ξανά για το αν θέλουν να μείνουν μέλος της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Στο πρώτο δημοψήφισμα το 1975, οι Βρετανοί αποφάσισαν την παραμονή με ποσοστό 67%.

Πολλά έχουν αλλάξει από τότε. Κατά τραγική ειρωνεία, η Βρετανία εκείνη την εποχή έθεσε τα θεμέλια της πιο αποκρουστικής Ευρώπης που έχουμε δει. Η Μάργκαρετ Θάτσερ ήταν αυτή που θα έφερνε τον βάρβαρο νεοφιλελευθερισμό στην καρδιά της Ευρωπαϊκής πολιτικής σκηνής. Το νεοφιλελεύθερο δόγμα θα κατακτούσε τη Λαϊκή Δεξιά και τους Σοσιαλδημοκράτες, που κατέληξαν να είναι οι πιο διεφθαρμένες και πλήρως κατειλημμένες από τα λόμπι, πολιτικές δυνάμεις.

Ο νεοφιλελευθερισμός προσέφερε μια ψεύτικη ευημερία που δεν θα κρατούσε για πολύ. Μοιραία, η Αριστερά ήταν σχεδόν εξαφανισμένη από την πολιτική σκηνή για δεκαετίες. Αλλά τώρα, ο νεοφιλελευθερισμός χρησιμοποιεί την οικονομική κρίση στην ευρωζώνη ως πρόσχημα για να οδηγήσει την Ευρώπη στη σκοτεινή εποχή της νέας Φεουδαρχίας των τραπεζών και των πολυεθνικών. Φαίνεται ότι η Αριστερά πιάστηκε εντελώς απροετοίμαστη να διαγνώσει τις νέες συνθήκες, προκειμένου να αντιδράσει γρήγορα και δυναμικά.

Πράγματι, η συμπεριφορά ενός σημαντικού κομματιού της Ευρωπαϊκής Αριστεράς όσον αφορά το Βρετανικό δημοψήφισμα, δείχνει ότι δεν υπάρχει τίποτα το "ριζοσπαστικό" στο "μεταλλαγμένο" DNA της. Το μετριοπαθές κομμάτι της Ευρωπαϊκής Αριστεράς, ακόμα και τώρα, μετά από τέτοια δραματική έκπτωση των Ευρωπαϊκών αξιών που βιώνουμε και που, απ'ότι φαίνεται θα γίνει ακόμα μεγαλύτερη, εμφανίζεται απρόθυμο να πολεμήσει - χρησιμοποιώντας κάθε διαθέσιμο όπλο - ενάντια στην επέλαση της νεοφιλελεύθερης βαρβαρότητας.

Την Τρίτη, ο Αλέξης Τσίπρας καταδίκασε μετά βδελυγμίας ένα πιθανό Brexit. Το έκανε δίπλα στον Γιούνκερ που επισκέφτηκε την Ελλάδα. Άλλη μια αποκρουστική εικόνα: ο "Αριστερός" Τσίπρας δεν θα τολμούσε να πει τίποτα διαφορετικό μπροστά στον εκπρόσωπο των λόμπι, ακόμα και αν ήθελε. Χθες, από το Στρασβούργο, ο Τσίπρας καταδίκασε την νεοφιλελεύθερη διαχείριση της κρίσης που έφερε την ακροδεξιά! Ο Τσίπρας είναι η προσωποποίηση της απόλυτης σύγχυσης και ατολμίας της μετριοπαθούς Αριστεράς.

Και ενώ θα έπρεπε να περιμένουμε μια τέτοια συμπεριφορά από τον "μεταλλαγμένο" Τσίπρα και ότι απέμεινε από τον ΣΥΡΙΖΑ, τι θα έπρεπε να σκεφτούμε για τον Τζέρεμι Κόρμπιν; Γιατί ο πιο "ριζοσπάστης" πολιτικός στην ηγεσία του Βρετανικού Εργατικού κόμματος, εδώ και δεκαετίες, υποστηρίζει απόλυτα την παραμονή της Βρετανίας στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση των λόμπι;

Μια πιθανή απάντηση θα ήταν, ότι ο Κόρμπιν, ο Ιγκλέσιας, ο Τσίπρας και άλλοι από την μετριοπαθή Ευρωπαϊκή Αριστερά έκαναν τελείως λάθος διάγνωση για το που πηγαίνουν τα πράγματα. Πιστεύουν ότι ένα πιθανό Brexit θα αποτελούσε μια σημαντική απώλεια ενάντια σ'αυτό που πρεσβεύουν, δηλαδή, ενάντια σε μια ενωμένη Ευρώπη μέσα στο πλαίσιο ενός Αριστερού διεθνισμού. Έχουν την αυταπάτη ότι η Ευρώπη μπορεί να αλλάξει πορεία προς την κατεύθυνση αυτού του τύπου διεθνισμού, ενώ στην πραγματικότητα, η Ευρώπη κατευθύνεται με μεγάλη ταχύτητα προς μια εντελώς αντίθετη κατεύθυνση. Δηλαδή, προς έναν νεοφιλελεύθερο διεθνισμό, μέσα από τον οποίο η νέα Φεουδαρχία των τραπεζών και των πολυεθνικών θα γίνει σύντομα πραγματικότητα.

Φαίνεται να μην κατανοούν ότι η Ευρώπη χρειάζεται κυριολεκτικά μια επανεκκίνηση και ότι αυτή τη στιγμή, θα πρέπει να χρησιμοποιήσουν κάθε ευκαιρία στη μάχη ενάντια στον νεοφιλελεύθερο διεθνισμό.

Αναπόφευκτα, η ακροδεξιά βρήκε την ευκαιρία να αναλάβει κατ' αποκλειστικότητα το ρόλο την πολιτικής δύναμης ενάντια στον νεοφιλελεύθερο διεθνισμό, μέσα από τη δική της ατζέντα φυσικά. Και έχουμε δει ήδη τα θλιβερά αποτελέσματα: τη δολοφονία της Βρετανίδας βουλευτή Τζο Κοξ και το γεγονός ότι το κατεστημένο τη χρησιμοποίησε προκειμένου να αλλάξει τις ισορροπίες κατά του Brexit.

Αν η Αριστερά δεν κάνει τη σωστή διάγνωση και δεν τολμήσει να πολεμήσει ενωμένη και με αποφασιστικότητα, η εικόνα της Ευρώπης θα γίνει ακόμα πιο σκοτεινή και αποκρουστική. Θα δούμε μια νεο-Φεουδαρχική Ευρώπη, στην οποία ο ακραίος εθνικισμός θα κάνει τη βρόμικη δουλειά ενάντια στα όποια απομεινάρια της Δημοκρατίας, των δικαιωμάτων και των ελευθεριών, πάντα προς όφελος του μεγάλου κεφαλαίου.

    Η νέα τάξη πραγμάτων πριν εξαπολύσει την επίθεσή της φρόντισε να προετοιμάσει το έδαφος τοποθετώντας σε θέσεις κλειδιά δικούς της ανθρώπους, έχοντας παράλληλα ΄΄καβάντζα΄΄ κι΄άλλους βλέπε Τσίπρα, σε περίπτωση που κάτι δεν πήγαινε καλά.
    Δυστυχώς οι ΄΄άλλοι΄΄ δεν έκαναν κάτι παρόμοιο επαναπαυόμενοι στην πρόσκαιρη καλοπέρασή τους. Καλά για τον λαό ούτε που το συζητάμε το θέμα, βρίσκεται σε πλήρη αποχαύνωση, από την οποία μου φαίνεται ότι δεν ξέφυγε εδώ και αιώνες, αποτυπώνοντάς την έντονα στα γονίδιά του και συνεπώς στα κύτταρα των απογόνων του.
    Εάν θελήσουν οι Βρετανοί να παραδώσουν την πατρίδα τους στους Γερμανούς, ας το κάνουν.

    Τελικά ίσως οι Άγγλοι να είναι άλλος λαός. Επιτέλους και κάτι καλό ακούμε.

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique.
