Η Αριστερά και η Βενεζουέλα

Μέρος 7ο - Απερίσκεπτος δογματισμός

Διαχέεται επίσης μια συζήτηση που συγκλίνει με τη σοσιαλδημοκρατία χρησιμοποιώντας σεκταριστικά επιχειρήματα. Στην περίπτωση αυτή, η κυβέρνηση Μαδούρο απεικονίζεται ως διεφθαρμένη, υποτελής και προσαρμοστική, δηλαδή ως μια κυβέρνηση που σταθεροποιεί ένα δικτατορικό καθεστώς. Σε άλλες περιστάσεις, η ίδια απονομιμοποίηση περιγράφεται με πιο έμμεσες ή πιο εκλεπτυσμένες κατηγορίες (de facto πρόεδρος, βοναπαρτιστής αρχηγός).

Όλες, όμως, οι παραλλαγές της συμπίπτουν ως προς ότι τονίζουν τη θεμελιώδη ευθύνη μιας αυταρχικής κυβέρνησης που διαλύει τη χώρα. Η εναρμόνιση ως προς αυτό το βασικό ζήτημα με την αφήγηση των ΜΜΕ είναι εντυπωσιακή. Το βασικό πρόβλημα, ωστόσο, δεν είναι η ρητορική, αλλά η πρακτική.

Καθημερινά γίνονται πορείες της Δεξιάς και των οπαδών της κυβέρνησης. Οι πρωταθλητές της σοσιαλιστικής αυστηρότητας πρέπει να αναρωτηθούν: Σε ποια από τις δύο θα συμμετάσχουμε; Με ποιους θα ταυτιστούμε; Εάν πιστεύουν ότι ο κύριος εχθρός είναι η κυβέρνηση θα πρέπει να έχουν κοινό σκοπό με τους escuálidos των guarimbas (σκόπιμων προκλήσεων αιματηρών ταραχών).

Στο Μπουένος Άιρες, παραδείγματος χάριν, τον περασμένο Μάιο κλήθηκε ο κόσμος σε κινητοποίηση από τους φορείς αυτών των απόψεων για να εκδιωχθεί ο Μαδούρο. Όσοι περαστικοί παρατηρούσαν αυτή την πορεία κατάλαβαν πολύ καλά ποιοι θα καταλάμβαναν την προεδρία της Βενεζουέλας, εάν ανατρεπόταν ο σημερινός επικεφαλής του κράτους. Και σημείωσαν την πλήρη σύμπτωση ανάμεσα σ’ αυτό το αίτημα και τα μηνύματα που μετέδιδαν καθημερινά τα ΜΜΕ.

Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που τμήματα της Αριστεράς συγκλίνουν τόσο καθαρά με τη Δεξιά. Ένα προηγούμενο στην Αργεντινή, υπό τις κυβερνήσεις Κίρχνερ, ήταν η παρουσία κόκκινων σημαιών στις πορείες των γαιοκτημόνων της σόγιας και στις διαδηλώσεις των caceroleros [των αντιπάλων της κυβέρνησης από τα μεσαία και ανώτερα στρώματα που κράδαιναν κατσαρόλες και τηγάνια]. Αλλά αυτή που ήταν μια παθητική εκδήλωση στο Μπουένος Άιρες μπορεί να μετατραπεί σε τραγωδία στο Καράκας.

Άλλες απόψεις συγκρίνουν τον Μαδούρο με την αντιπολίτευση, υποστηρίζοντας ότι κάτω από τη μασκαράτα μιας φαινομενικής αντίθεσης κρύβονται μεγάλες συμπτώσεις. Έτσι καταφεύγουν σε εικασίες για το πότε αυτή η σύγκλιση θα γίνει εμφανής.

Αυτή η περίεργη ερμηνεία έρχεται σε έντονη αντίθεση με τις μεγάλες συγκρούσεις μεταξύ αυτών των δύο που είναι για όλους κάτι παραπάνω από ορατές. Συνεπώς, είναι λιγάκι δύσκολο να ερμηνεύσουμε τις guarimbas, τις δολοφονίες και τις απειλές του αμερικανικού Πενταγώνου ως ψευτοκαβγά μεταξύ συγγενών.

Η μοναδική λογική εξήγηση αυτής της άποψης είναι ότι επιδιώκεται να υποβαθμιστεί η σοβαρότητα της τρέχουσας σύγκρουσης, να ερμηνευτεί ως ενδο-αστική διαμάχη για την ιδιοποίηση των προσόδων. Γι’ αυτό και ο ολοκληρωτισμός του Μαδούρο θεωρείται εξίσου μεγάλος (ή και μεγαλύτερος) κίνδυνος με αυτόν της αντιπολίτευσης.

Το μεγάλο πρόβλημα όσον αφορά τις παραπάνω απόψεις δεν είναι η απερισκεψία τους, αλλά η έμμεση ουδετερότητα την οποία προωθούν. Εφόσον κυβέρνηση και αντιπολίτευση είναι ίδιες, το πραξικόπημα που αποδίδεται στην κυβέρνηση συγκρίνεται με το πραξικόπημα που προωθεί η δεξιά αντιπολίτευση.

Όμως, αυτή η εξίσωση είναι εμφανώς λανθασμένη. Στη Βενεζουέλα, δεν υπάρχουν δύο αντιδραστικές παραλλαγές που ανταγωνίζονται, όπως, επί παραδείγματι, ο τζιχαντισμός και οι δικτατορίες στη Μέση Ανατολή. Ούτε υπάρχει ο τύπος του ανταγωνισμού μεταξύ ανθρώπων των σπηλαίων που αντιπαρέθεσε τον Βιντέλα στην Ιζαμπέλ Περόν, στην Αργεντινή.

Η σύγκρουση μεταξύ των Καπρίλες-Λόπες και του Μαδούρο μοιάζει με την αντιπαράθεση του Πινοτσέτ με τον Αλιέντε, του [επικεφαλής της χούντας που έκανε πραξικόπημα, το 1955] Λονάρντι με τον Περόν ή πιο πρόσφατα του Τέμερ με την Ντίλμα Ρουσέφ, στη Βραζιλία. Παρόμοια, ο θρίαμβος της Δεξιάς εις βάρος του Μαδούρο, η σύγκρουση των οποίων απέχει παρασάγγας από το να είναι μια συμπλοκή μεταξύ ταυτόσημων δυνάμεων, θα είχε ως αποτέλεσμα μια τρομερή πολιτική οπισθοδρόμηση.

Αντιμέτωπη με αυτή την εναλλακτική, η ουδετερότητα είναι συνώνυμο της παθητικότητας και εκφράζει τεράστιο βαθμό αδυναμίας εν όψει μεγάλων γεγονότων. Σημαίνει αποκήρυξη της συμμετοχής και της δέσμευσης σε αυθεντικούς σκοπούς.

Εφόσον αυτή η στάση θεωρεί δεδομένο ότι ο τσαβισμός είναι τελειωμένος, περιορίζει όλο τον ορίζοντά της στο να συγγράφει τον ισολογισμό αυτής της εμπειρίας. Όμως, η μέγιστη αποτυχία στην πολιτική δράση ουδέποτε επηρεάζει μη ολοκληρωμένες ή άκαρπες διαδικασίες. Το χειρότερο πράγμα είναι η απερισκεψία εν όψει μεγάλων, επικών γεγονότων.

Όποιες αμφιβολίες κι αν έχει κανείς για τον Μαδούρο, η έκβαση στη Βενεζουέλα θα καθορίσει στο άμεσο μέλλον τη μοίρα όλης της περιοχής. Εάν θριαμβεύσουν οι αντιδραστικοί, το αποτέλεσμα θα είναι ένα σενάριο ήττας και ένα αίσθημα αδυναμίας απέναντι στην αυτοκρατορία. Το τέλος του προοδευτικού κύκλου θα είναι γεγονός και όχι ένα θέμα προς αξιολόγηση μεταξύ των διανοητών της κοινωνικής επιστήμης.

Η Δεξιά το γνωρίζει και γι’ αυτό το λόγο διοργανώνει καμπάνιες εναντίον των διανοουμένων που υπερασπίζονται τον τσαβισμό. Η πρόσφατη, ευρεία επίθεση από την [αργεντίνικη] εφημερίδα Clarín αποτελεί μια πρόγευση της επίθεσης που ετοιμάζεται για την μετά Μαδούρο περιφερειακή διευθέτηση. Οι σεκταριστές δεν αντιλαμβάνονται αυτό τον κίνδυνο.
