Fakenezuela news: Πώς να ρίξεις μιντιακά μια κυβέρνηση

Μέρος 3ο - Αντιπολίτευση: δημοκράτες με «ανατρεπτικό παρελθόν»

Στην Ελλάδα, αλλά και στο εξωτερικό, δεν έχει παρουσιαστεί σχεδόν καθόλου από τα ΜΜΕ το παρελθόν των τριών πρωταγωνιστών της αντιπολίτευσης. Ας τους δούμε.

Ο Leopoldo López, ο “Νέλσων Μαντέλα της Βενεζουέλας” για την El Pais, κατάγεται από τα πιο ισχυρά και πλούσια πολιτικά τζάκια της Βενεζουέλας με σπουδές στο Πρίνστον και Χάρβαρντ. Το 2000 εκλέχτηκε δήμαρχος του πλούσιου Chacao. Στο πραξικόπημα του 2002 οργάνωσε τις διαδηλώσεις στους δρόμους, δημιουργώντας μια εικόνα χάους, και χωρίς καμία εξουσιοδότηση οδήγησε το πλήθος να συλλάβει δια της βίας τον υπουργό εσωτερικών Ramon Rodriguez Chacin. Αν και προσπάθησε να πάρει αποστάσεις από το πραξικόπημα το βίντεο τον διαψεύδει. Σε έκθεση της πρεσβείας των ΗΠΑ, που διέρρευσε μέσω wikileaks, περιγράφεται ως «αλαζόνας», «εκδικητικός», «διψασμένος για εξουσία» και «οργανωτικός».

Το 2014 χειραγώγησε την ετήσια μαθητική πορεία για την Εθνική Ημέρα Νεολαίας μετατρέποντάς στη βίαιη πολιτική εκδήλωση της αντιπολίτευση. Τότε ο καθ. David Smilde (Παν/μιος Tulane Georgia), είχε σχολιάσει ότι το να ανακατεύεσαι πολιτικά σε μια μαθητική πορεία η οποία καταλήγει σε μια φιλοκυβερνητική περιοχή, είναι σίγουρο ότι θα ξεσπάσει βία. Ο Λόπεζ ποντάρισε σε αυτό προκαλώντας μάλιστα μέσω tweeter τον Μαδούρο «δεν έχεις τα κότσια να με βάλεις φυλακή;».

Οι αρχές τότε τον συνέλαβαν ως υποκινητή βίας και τον περασμένο Ιούλιο η ποινή του μετατράπηκε σε περιορισμό κατ΄ οίκον. Παρόλα αυτά παρενέβη τους όρους κράτηση συνεχίζοντας μέσω κοινωνικών δικτύων να παρακινεί τον κόσμο να ανατρέψει βιαίως την κυβέρνηση.

Το Μάιο του 2017 τα ΜΜΕ της αντιπολίτευσης, η γυναίκα του ακόμα και ο Ρεπουμπλικάνος Γερουσιαστής Marco Rubio αναπαρήγαγαν μέσω twitter ψευδείς ειδήσεις ότι δηλητηριάστηκε, ότι ήταν ενώ η μαυροφορεμένη γυναίκα του πήγε ακόμα και στο νοσοκομείο ζητώντας να τον δει. Και φυσικά όλα αποδείχτηκαν συμπαιγνία, όταν δημοσιεύτηκε βίντεο του Λόπεζ, με την ακριβή ώρα και μέρα επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι είναι καλά.

Ο Τραμπ έδειξε μάλιστα ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για την απελευθέρωσή του όταν συναντήθηκε με την σύζυγό του Lilian Tintori. Την απελευθέρωσή του ζήτησε και ο πρώην Πρόεδρος της Χιλής, Sebastian Piñera, ο οποίος πρότεινε να εκτίσουν την ποινή τους 33 μέλη των μυστικών υπηρεσιών του καθεστώτος Πινοσέτ αξιοπρεπώς στην πολυτελή φυλακή Punta Penco με γήπεδα τένις κτλ.

Η δραστήρια Μαρία Κορίνα Μακάδο είναι η δυναμική κυρία μέλος της Εθνοσυνέλευσης και ιδρύτρια της διαβόητης ΜΚΟ Súmate που υποτίθεται ότι προωθεί την ελεύθερη άσκηση των πολιτικών δικαιωμάτων. Μεγαλωμένη με αυστηρή ανατροφή από πλούσια Καθολική οικογένεια η Μακάδο «ποτέ δεν φαντάστηκε τον εαυτό της να ασχολείται με την πολιτική για να αλλάξει τις κοινωνικές διαφορές», όπως έγραψε γι’ αυτή η Σουηδή δημοσιογράφος και θαυμάστριά της Kajsa Norman.

Μόνο όταν ανέλαβε ο Τσάβες την εξουσία «αισθάνθηκε υποχρεωμένη να το κάνει» και έτσι ίδρυσε την Súmate την χρονιά που πραγματοποιήθηκε το πραξικόπημα εναντίον της Κυβέρνησης Τσάβες. Ενώ έφτιαξε ένα οργανισμό για την προώθηση της δημοκρατίας ήταν ανάμεσα σε εκείνους που υπέγραψαν το Καταστατικό Καρμόνα (Carmona Decree) των πραξικοπηματιών για την βίαιη απομάκρυνση της Κυβέρνησης Τσάβες. Η εμμονή της για την «ομαλή» λειτουργία των δημοκρατικών θεσμών ήταν τέτοια που χρηματοδοτούνταν από την Κυβέρνηση Μπους και αργότερα του Μπαράκ Ομπάμα. Το λόμπυ της Μακάδο δραστηριοποιήθηκε με ιδιαίτερη επιτυχία και στο Ευρωπαϊκό Κοινοβούλιο. Ωστόσο ομάδα Ευρωβουλευτών το 2014 αντέδρασε υπενθυμίζοντας την συμμετοχή της στο πραξικόπημα του 2002.

Η εμβληματική μορφή του «ηρωικού» δημάρχου του Καράκας Αντόνιο Λεντέζμα. Ο Λεντέζμα υπήρξε μέλος της Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων τη δεκαετία του 1980 με το κόμμα της Δημοκρατικής Δράσης. Ήταν το κόμμα που όταν κυβερνούσε στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1980, διέπραξε μια από τις μεγαλύτερες σφαγές διαδηλωτών στην ιστορία της Λατινικής Αμερικής, το περίφημο “Caracazo” του 1989. Τότε η κυβέρνηση του Carlos Andres Perez, ανέστειλε θεμελιώδη άρθρα του Συντάγματος και επιστράτευσε δυνάμεις καταστολής και στρατό με αποτέλεσμα οι αριθμός των θυμάτων να υπολογίζεται μέχρι και 2.000. Το 1992 ο Λεντέζμα διορίστηκε από τον Πρόεδρο Perez κυβερνήτης της περιφέρειας του Καράκας αλλά αργότερα ο Πρόεδρός του αποπέφθηκε λόγω διαφθοράς. Όλα αυτά τα χρόνια ο Λεντέζμα παρέμεινε πιστός υποστηρικτής του διεφθαρμένου κόμματος και έφτασε μάλιστα στο σημείο να διεκδικήσει και την αρχηγία δίχως επιτυχία.

Το 2002 ο σημερινός δήμαρχος του Καράκας συμμετείχε στο πραξικόπημα ανατροπής της νόμιμης κυβέρνησης του Ούγκο Τσάβες καθοδηγώντας εξαγριωμένα πλήθη στους δρόμους της πρωτεύουσας. Σήμερα, έχει μεταμορφωθεί στον «καταπιεσμένο» λατινοαμερικάνο πολιτικό που στέλνει και έκκληση βοήθειας στους Έλληνες. Αν όντως η Βενεζουέλα έχει δικτατορία σήμερα ο Λεντέζμα, ο Λόπεζ και οι υπόλοιποι θα αγνοούνταν και δεν θα βλέπαμε tweets κάθε λίγο και λιγάκι. Αλλά «φωνάζουν οι επωφελούμενοι του παλαιά και του κάποτε» (Sacha Guiltry).

A response to misinformation on Nicaragua: it was a coup, not a ‘massacre’

There is so much misinformation in mainstream corporate media about recent events in Nicaragua that it is a pity that Mary Ellsberg’s article for Pulse has added to it with a seemingly leftish critique. Ellsberg claims that recent articles, including from this website, often “ paint a picture of the crisis in Nicaragua that is dangerously misleading. ” Unfortunately, her own article does just that. It looks at the situation entirely from the perspective of those opposing Daniel Ortega’s government while whitewashing their malevolent behavior and downplaying the levels of US support they have relied on.
