Το παραμύθι του «μεγάλου νοικοκύρη» Κων. Μητσοτάκη

Μέρος 2ο - Για κάθε ιδιωτικοποίηση, μια εκατοστιαία μονάδα δημόσιου χρέους…

Χρειαζόταν ασφαλώς μεγάλη… προσπάθεια, για να εκτοξευθεί το χρέος κατά 22,6 εκατοστιαίες μονάδες στα ¾ ενός μόλις έτους. Εκείνου, μάλιστα, του έτους, κατά το οποίο το κράτος υποτίθεται πως θα έδρεπε τους καρπούς της περιλάλητης «βαλκανο - θατσερικής» πολιτικής Μητσοτάκη (ιδιωτικοποιήσεις, απαλλαγή του δημοσίου από «προβληματικές επιχειρήσεις», κλπ).

Διαβάζαμε ένα στατιστικό στοιχείο, σύμφωνα με το οποίο επί κυβέρνησης Μητσοτάκη ιδιωτικοποιήθηκαν, με την «άλφα» ή τη «βήτα» μορφή, 111 συνολικά επιχειρήσεις. Βρίσκουμε χαριτωμένη τη σύμπτωση, από συμβολικής πλευράς: Ο «μεγάλος νοικοκύρης» παρέδωσε μια εκατοστιαία μονάδα χρέους, για κάθε ιδιωτικοποίηση που έκανε.

Αν ρωτήσεις δέκα ακραιφνείς μητσοτακικούς ποια περίοδο, ποιος πρωθυπουργός ευθύνεται κυρίως για τη διόγκωση του δημόσιου χρέους, θα σου απαντήσουν οι… δεκαπέντε (διότι θα πεταχτούν και πέντε «σοσιαλφιλελέδες», της μητσοτακικής «κεντροαριστεράς») χωρίς κανένα δισταγμό: «Μα φυσικά ο Ανδρέας Παπανδρέου, ιδίως της πρώτης τετραετίας, με την μεγέθυνση του δημοσίου, την αύξηση κοινωνικών δαπανών, κλπ».

Έλα όμως που στην πρώτη, την «απλόχερη» τετραετία του ΠΑΣΟΚ το χρέος αυξήθηκε κατά 20,2 εκατοστιαίες μονάδες, αλλά πάνω από τις διπλάσιες (για την ακρίβεια, 41,7) «αυγάτισε» στα 3,5 έτη της διακυβέρνησης Μητσοτάκη…

Το επαναλαμβάνουμε για να εμπεδώσουν οι «φιλελέδες» κάθε απόχρωσης και ταυτότητας: Όσες εκατοστιαίες μονάδες αυξήθηκε το δημόσιο χρέος στην πρώτη «παπανδρεϊκή» τετραετία (ήταν 34,5% το 1981 και ανέβηκε στο 54,7% το 1985), τόσες- συν δυο και κάτι «ψιλά» - «ψήλωσε» μόνο στην τελευταία «μητσοτακική» χρονιά. Κάτι ακόμη: Στην επταετία που κύλησε από την απαρχή της περιόδου ΠΑΣΟΚ μέχρι και το 1988, δηλαδή έως το τελευταίο ολόκληρο έτος «παπανδρεϊκής» διακυβέρνησης, το χρέος ανέβηκε 32,3 εκατοστιαίες μονάδες. Σχεδόν δέκα λιγότερες από όσες αυξήθηκε στην περίοδο Μητσοτάκη, που ήταν μισή σε διάρκεια.

Στη συνέχεια, από τις 13 Οκτωβρίου του 1993 έως την 1η Ιανουαρίου 1996 πρωθυπουργός ήταν ο Α. Παπανδρέου και κατόπιν ανέλαβε ο Κ. Σημίτης. Στην τετραετία 1994 – 1997 καταγράφηκαν, κατά σειρά, ποσοστά δημόσιου χρέους 109,3%, 110,1%, 112,2% και 109,5%. Σε αδρές γραμμές στασιμότητα, δηλαδή. Είναι κοινό μυστικό πως επί Σημίτη οι αλχημείες της «δημιουργικής λογιστικής» εξωράισαν ασύστολα την πραγματικότητα, αλλά «έτερον εκάτερον». Το τρομακτικό «σαράντα εκατοστιαίες μονάδες παραπάνω» της περιόδου Μητσοτάκη αποτελεί, ούτως ή άλλως, ανυπέρβλητη «επίδοση»…
