Historians
will look back on Dec. 2, 2017 and conclude this was one of the great
robberies in US history because Republicans are robbing working
families. I say to my Republican colleagues: The American people are
catching on. While you may have gotten away with this act of looting,
history is not on your side.
This "tax reform" bill, which would RAISE taxes on 87 million middle-class households, is not about helping the middle class. It's not about helping the people who need help the most. It's about giving big breaks to the wealthy, corporations, and the friends and donors of the Republicans who wrote the bill.

night, Senate Republicans passed their disastrous tax bill, but this
fight is not over. I'm in Dayton, Ohio, to rally the American people
against this travesty.
