Μήνυση Βαρουφάκη στην ΕΚΤ για τις ελληνικές τράπεζες

Μήνυση κατά της Ευρωπαϊκής Κεντρικής Τράπεζας για το πάγωμα της χρηματοδότησης των ελληνικών τραπεζών το 2015 που οδήγησε στα capital controls κατέθεσε τη Δευτέρα ο Γιάνης Βαρουφάκης και ο Γερμανός ευρωβουλευτής Φάμπιο ντε Μάσι, καλώντας την ηγεσία της να δώσει στη δημοσιότητα το έγγραφο με το οποίο επέβαλε το πάγωμα της χρηματοδότησης.

Όπως αναφέρει το Reuters, οι δύο άνδρες ζητούν να δοθεί το επίμαχο έγγραφο με το οποίο η ΕΚΤ επέβαλε το κλείσιμο της στρόφιγγας για τις τράπεζες, οδηγώντας τον Αλέξη Τσίπρα στο κλείσιμο των τραπεζών και την επιβολή περιορισμού στην κίνηση κεφαλαίων, την ώρα που η διαπραγμάτευση με τους δανειστές βρισκόταν σε εξέλιξη.

«Περιορίζοντας τη ρευστότητα στον ελληνικό τραπεζικό τομέα, η ΕΚΤ επέβαλε την περικοπή συντάξεων, αύξηση φόρων και τις ιδιωτικοποιήσεις έναντι πινακίου φακής, και κινήθηκε εκτός της εντολής της» δήλωσε ο ντε Μάσι.

Σημειώνεται πως Βαρουφάκης και ντε Μάσι είχαν ήδη ζητήσει το συγκεκριμένο έγγραφο από την ΕΚΤ χωρίς αποτέλεσμα, αποφασίζοντας να προσφύγουν στο Γενικό Δικαστήριο της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης.

Σύμφωνα με το διεθνές ειδησιογραφικό πρακτορείο, εκπρόσωπος της ΕΚΤ δήλωσε πως της απόφασης για την παρακράτηση της χρηματοδότησης προηγήθηκε η νομική γνωμοδότηση, τουλάχιστον κατά δύο μήνες νωρίτερα. Ωστόσο, η Τράπεζα αποφάσισε να μην δώσει το έγγραφο που το πιστοποιεί στη δημοσιότητα.

«Υπάρχει υπέρτατο δημόσιο συμφέρον στο να μάθουμε πόσο... ζύγισε η ΕΚΤ τους διαφορετικούς μεταξύ τους στόχους, και πως οι ίδιοι και οι νομικοί τους εμπειρογνώμονες ερμήνευσαν το νομικό πλαίσιο» σχολίασε ο συνήγορος των δύο εναγόντων, Ανδρέας Φίσερ-Λέσκανο, σύμφωνα με το Reuters.
